I have been going to Further Performance for almost 20 years. Great shop, top notch work but most importantly great group of guys! From everything to my collector VWs, performance mods to maintenance on my newer models these guys treat me right. Thank you Tristan!

Tristan and team took my stock 2012 Audi A6 and turned it into an insanely fun rocket of a car. Incredible performance. Tristan was really helpful guiding me throughout the upgrade selection process and I never felt pressured to do anything to the car - he actually talked me out of bothering with some optional bells and whistles I had been considering because they wouldn t meaningfully alter the driving experience. Great shop, highly recommend having your work done here!!!

Today I took our bus in with a random failure to start. Further Performance found the issue was corrosion causing a drain on the battery.I also asked them to clamp the battery so it won't bounce around while driving on bumpy roads. They creatively used clamps with my homemade wooden battery tray. And they cleaned and painted the corroded metal so it won't rust. I really appreciate that. The project took 5 hours, but its going to last.The repairs done in 2016 are still holding up fine: transmission rebuild still great, steering still precise without the loose wandering it had before. And the idle still quiet and smooth.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Brakes, Battery

These guys are the most considerate and kind mechanics ever. We were traveling through in our 1985 Westfalia, had a wee transmission leak. Not only did they squeeze us into their incredibly packed schedule, the took a look in the hoist, assessed the situation and send us on our way with confidence and a truly useful diagnosis. They didn t even charge us a full hours work. Who does that? I can t speak highly enough. Thank you soo much. Perri & Greg from Canada

As I write this review, it is from under the redwood trees on the west coast, and about 3500 miles after major restoration work on a Volkswagen Camper.Further Performance is an outstanding repair shop in all the right ways. It s a professional shop whose work is first rate. The mechanic who worked on our vehicle was extremely knowledgeable, articulate and trustworthy. He had experience and knowledge to know what an older vehicle like ours needed to keep it driving safely. The mechanic completed a bumper to bumper inspection and walked my wife and me through all the particulars of the evaluation (literally while the van was up on the lift) - he was thorough and pointed out what was in good shape, what needed repair, what could be upgraded, and why. When we signed off on the recommended repairs, my wife and I both felt confident we were in good hands and that our older Van would safely get us where we wanted to go in upcoming travels.3500 miles later - our van has never driven or handled better. It is a magnitude safer and has show much improved performance and handling.We couldn t be more pleased with the professionalism and trustworthiness of Further Performance. Thanks Tristan, Brian and Matt - we appreciate the quality and care of your work. If you own a vintage VW, there's no better place in town for the frequent repairs & maintenance it requires. I joke that FP Tuned is my '69 van's second home.Tristan treats your baby like his own. He and Steven are dependable, conscientious, and knowledgeable. Over the years, they've fixed the electrical system (including installing a sweet Bluetooth amp), the transmission, and most recently diagnosed a long-running mystery problem with the carbs. I made a long drive with my VW to get a tune and am very impressed. The work was completed promptly at a reasonable price. I was not disappointed with the customer service either. Everyone was knowledgeable and willing to help, not looking to make a quick buck or hose anyone. If you drive a European car, bring it here!

It's very difficult to find small businesses this direct and honest these days. Every time I've gone in they are respectful, straight-forward, and seem to have a better idea of how to resolve your issues than a VW dealership. I only wish they lived closer to me!Update: They are still awesome. Just finished installing the Control Arms, MSS Sport Springs, and Camber plates for race season!

I've had my VW MK7 Golf R in here for service several times. These guys are passionate about cars and it really shows. They do an excellent job, and they are professional, no-nonsense, and stand by their work. They have earned my trust and are my new regular mechanic shop. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves their European car.

I have been coming here since 2013 and I would recommend them over anywhere I have had 3, mark 4 Gti s and hands down they have been the best place I have found for getting work done at for a good price, in a timely fashion and if you are looking for a place you can trust they are the ones

In 5 minutes they diagnosed my car. Look my previous mechanic had my car for 3 weeks (5 actually but had to shut down for 2 weeks because of the flue). And it still was not fixed. Further Performance hooked up the Computer to the car. The mechanic sed do this and this It s running perfect. Look their is no substitute for an experienced mechanic. Their awesome!

Great service with fair pricing on what they do. I have an MK 7 Golf R and they service it pretty good. If you want to tune your German, by all means this is the place (closes to the TC too) to go. Tristan is the expert and you will be jn good hands.

Tristan and his crew have always come through for me. Earlier in the year I needed a whole new fuel system for my 2012 VW Bug and they put it all together in a timely manner at a price that beat all others. Just had a little water damage problem to a couple sensors and once again the team put their exceptional skills to work and had my car back to me in no time. I ve brought multiple cars to Further and will continue to do so far into the future. Thanks again to everyone at Further Performance!

FANTASTIC service! My wife and 4-year old son and I were driving cross country in our 2002 Eurovan Weekender when our serp belt shredded and our power steering failed completely. I called Further Performance and Tristan correctly diagnosed our problem over the phone, then promptly ordered the necessary parts so work could begin as soon as we arrived by tow. Not only did the mechanics know their stuff, they gave our family a loaner car for a few hours so we could get something to eat while they worked. The work itself was top-notch. They cleaned the effected area of all belt shrapnel, replaced the broken parts, and even checked our tire pressure to ensure we were good to continue on. Because of this shop, we were able to keep our camping reservations in Badlands, Tetons, and Yellowstone without missing a beat. We would recommend Further Performance to any VW owners. Thank you again!

When the old A3 demands another sacrifice, Further Performance is the place to bring it. I love the vibe of this place and Tristan the owner is a great guy. There are lots of neat cars and motorcycles parked around the premises and it's easy to see they live and breathe this stuff. He's bailed me out more than once and I'm happy to direct people there. A great place to go when you want fair priced and higher quality work than what a dealer can provideI was having oil consumption issues (1L/1k miles). Went to the dealer and paid over $300 to have it investigated. They had no solution and did nothing.Went to Further Performance to have it looked at and have my car tuned (Audi 3.0 TFSI +~100hp and ft/lb) and Tristan recommend an oil change (with different spec oil)After the tune and new oil, I am no longer having oil consumption (2.5k miles in)Additionally, Tristan is very knowledgeable. The APR tune I wanted had bugs in the code for my car and he recommended a tune from HP Motorsports which worked flawlessly.

I took my Volkswagen GTI in to Further Performance shortly after I purchased it for a full inspection. Tristan and Camble were extremely knowledgeable, and friendly in letting me know which repairs I needed and which I didn't. The work they did was top notch and I'm very satisfied.

Had Further do a tune on my 2015 VW Tiguan all wheel drive. Little suv was a dog when I brought it in and Further did an awesome job. I get better gas mileage and the performance is off the charts.I am giving this car to my teenage daughter to drive and working on buying a Benz AMG A35. I hope Further can maybe tune my new ride.
