My wife and I love this place. They have been very honest with us, and never try to sell us something we didn't ask for. Prices are very reasonable, and friendly service. Always the same guy at the front counter. This is our go to auto shop.

Electra Tune has been my go-to auto repair shop for more than 20 years. All of the favorable Google reviews reflect my own experience. Staff are trustworthy, dependable, hard working, responsive, extremely knowledgeable and informative. Steve, the service manager, and his staff always go the extra mile.

I've been doing business with Electra Tune for many years. Excellent customer service. Top shelf mechanics. Great service manager. They greet you with a smile, and make you feel at home. You tell them the issue with your vehicle, and they take the time to explain the problem, and give you an estimate before doing the repair. The people at Electra tune are so friendly they have neighborhood pets stop by to say Hi, and get a treat. Keep up the excellent work guys.

Service was good, But, if you have out-of-state plates, be wary. My daughter had her car with IL plates towed here. One diagnostic test for battery cost $74.50. Another diagnostic test after battery replaced cost $134.10. Even my Chicago area mechanic said this place was charging too much.

As a young woman, I have found a lot of auto shops try to sell me repairs I dont need. Steve at electra tune has always been really respectful and told me what I can get repaired within my budget. Really nice people there, and I trust them to do a good job and not overcharge me for it.

Family member took vehicle in there for a few repairs . Compared price of labor and parts to three other shops and auto part companies . ElectraTune is terribly overpriced and give a bad name to this industry . Just a shame they take advantage of people because they can. If you don t know much about vehicles and don t want to get taken advantage of do not go here trust me prices are doubled if not tripled just for parts here ! Have pictures to prove it all

Highly recommended! ElectraTune is friendly, skilled, honest, and hard working. After replacing an alternator for me, when I had a repeat issue months later they honored their 12-month 12,000 mile warranty and went out of their way to figure out a very unusual problem for us. When the alternator failed a 2nd and 3rd time, Dan took apart the car and took days to solve the problem, and found that it was a very unusual situation specific to my car causing the repeated failures. Because of the warranty they only charged me for an extra hour of diagnostic time. Much appreciated!

I've been taking my cars here for over a decade. They have always been courteous, professional, honest, and skilled mechanics. Their prices are about average. I would recommend them to anyone nice.

This is our favorite auto shop! We have returned again and again with several different vehicles. Quick turn around and best of all, great service!I just stopped in needing air in our tires during this freezing weather and every air service connected to a gas stations frozen! I stopped into Electa Tune and they topped all 4 tires! Great service!! Thanks!!

I was looking for an air pump late Wednesday afternoon because my rear tire had a slow leak and it was getting pretty flat (10 or so PSI). All the gas station air pumps were out of order because it had reached about 26 below that day and the air had frozen. I started looking for auto shop garages nearby. The nearest one to me was Electra Tune. They told me they would not help me unless I left the car over night for them to repair because they did not want to lose heat from the inside of their garage during the minute it would take to help me fill up my tire. I very promptly left there and will not be going back.I had quite the opposite experience when I stopped by Precision Tune.They were kind enough to fill my tire up and schedule an appointment the next day to have my tire fixed, even though they had already turned off their air compressor for the day. I was and still am very grateful for their help and will be going back for all of my car repair/maintenance needs from now on.

My car wasn't starting I took it in. they got it started cost $500 I picked it up and it started yes, but the car had over 5 other problems that weren't there before I dropped it off. There not taking no responseibility for any of it, an want me to pay $600 to fix problems that weren't there before I took it in.......

I do not recommend this shop to anyone. Over priced. Bad customer service. Did not repair the problem and then blamed me. Left the shop and 10 minutes later check engine was back on.Took it to another shop. Fixed it for a third of the price and have no issues since.

I've never had a better mechanic. These guys go above and beyond for me and my car each time I bring it in. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for car repair.

Very customer service friendly. They worked to find the cheapest solution for me instead of just going with the first most expensive option. Very appreciative of them and will definitely use them again in the future!

I paid $35 for an inspection that wasn't even done because they claimed my car was 'unsafe to hoist' despite it being in reasonable structural condition.

Its a very bad place to get your car fixed they charge you EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE amounts, for very little work, its unfair and they are very rude aswell
