I just want to give a special thanks to the entire central auto body shop ! They worked on 2 of my cars, and they do a VERY GREAT job ! It looks brand new . I would never take my car anywhere else for body work but there !

I picked up my car today and I am beyond happy with the results. It took a total of only two days for them to complete the work and they offered me a free loaner car for the time being.It was sort of overwhelming comparing shops around the metro and I am so glad I chose to come here. They also made the insurance process super easy and stress-free.Shout out to Rick too, he was pleasant to work with and even came in early for me to help coordinate dropping off my vehicle. Just picked up my vehicle, and it looks like a new car again! This is the third time I ve used Central Ave Auto Body, and they ve been kind, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with every time. The cherry on top is that they do a better job detailing my car than the car wash I ve been taking it to!

I picked this place because of the many glowing reviews and I'm so glad I did! I initially went to a shop that billed directly with my insurance company, and they quoted me $1500 for the job. I then went to Central Ave and their estimate was $1000. They were able to replace the back parts of the car in 3 days instead of their first estimate of 5 days. They also did a great job of wrapping my dashcam cable around the edge of the windshield so it was out of the way. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Worth the 4-month wait, and very happy with the service!

I definitely recommend Central Avenue Auto Body. Fast, friendly service and they did a fantastic job getting my car back into shape after a front end accident. In addition, they actually detailed the car inside and out so it looks great. It was a complete mess after a long Minnesota winter. Note they they also provide me with the loaner car during the repair.

If they say they don't like your insurance company - do not take it here!Note that my insurance company Allstate did not handle this well either - and my frustration with Allstate is equal or higher than my experience with Central. Unfortunately, I found that neither company acted in the best interest of their shared customer (Me).The short version:Took my vehicle in to Central for front end damage repair after hitting a deer. I wanted to take it to a local company vs. a chain like Caliber.Brought Tahoe in for inspection and to get a new headlight temporarily installed so it was road worthy while I waited for an appointment. Gary at Central said he could put in a headlight no problem, which I certainly appreciated. He asked what insurance company I had. "Allstate" I said. From there, he said that Central does not like Allstate. I brushed it off and continued to book the rest of the work. I wished I had stopped there.Central had my Truck for 5 days straight at the beginning of December. When I returned back to town to pick it up... the work was not done. Why? Supplement work (which is common). The issue that I observed is that Central refused to follow the Allstate process of submitting supplement forms through their online portal. Central just "sent an e-mail". Well that e-mail went to no-one.In the subsequent weeks, I went back and forth with my insurance company and Central. Allstate kept saying: "Submit the supplements through the portal." Central kept saying: "either read our e-mail or have someone come see it in person. we don't do the portal."I understand the big-box frustration from Central to Allstate... but the stubbornness was astounding. Just submit the supplement through the portal!!Ultimately, I had my insurance agent go to the shop with me. From there, I went to the back of the shop and submitted the supplement myself through the Allstate portal. Yes, I did Central's job for them.December dragged to January... another supplement. Then the last bit of work was set to be completed - a bug shield and one bracket, expected to take 30 minutes. I brought the truck back in, sat in a local coffee shop for 4 hours. Called Central asking if it was done... was told by Rick at Central "come pick it up."Got to the shop and guess what? Neither the bug shield or bracket were completed...wrong parts ordered.Just got the bracket and bug shield installed. The project is done, 3+ months after my initial 5 day appointment.Overall the work is okay... the hood of my truck has a small mis-alignment (was told there is no way to fix it). But the process was very frustrating. 4 individual appointments with Central. 3+ months. Multiple diatribes on "We hate your insurance company" (sorry, don't take the job then?) And not a single pro-active phone call through the whole process. I had to call every time (even when waiting in a coffee shop).If you are not confident advocating for yourself, nor have the time, I cannot recommend going here. I think the work is okay, but the lack of customer centricity is clear.As mentioned at the beginning of the post - Allstate did not help in any way throughout this. Lesson learned it just go through a preferred shop recommended from your insurance company.

Gary and his team were outstanding to work with on the vandalism to my car.They worked with State Farm to get my claim in and got my car in fairly quickly, given the current estimates for auto body repair.My car got an amazing detailing inside and looked brand new when I picked it up.They said we hope to not see you again but honestly, I would go to them in a heartbeat again.

The team did a great job replacing my fender, fixing a scratch on my door, and fixing my headlight, which was a late discovery during repairs. They were committed to finding low cost parts to lessen overall costs. I didn t know they provided free loaners but were able to give me one last minute. They also squeezed me in, avoiding waiting months. My car looks great!

They are nice people and are happy to share their knowledge. I went there a couple times but never got any work done there. They usually recommend me somewhere or their approach is more orthodox and expensive.

This shop does excellent work. I just picked up my Subaru and the door ding and rock dint I had were completely gone. 10/10 would go back again if I had any issues. They also detailed my car which was a nice bonus. Much appreciated!Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I went to Central Avenue Auto Body after my truck was keyed. The staff was amazing, they gave me a free rental vehicle, and handled all the insurance issues! I recently moved to Northeast and decided to call Central Ave Auto Body when neither my front nor back bumper survived the Minnesota winter. Everyone I spoke to both on the phone and in person was friendly and informative, and the services were both quick and reasonably priced. They were completely understanding and kept in touch with me when I had to reschedule my appointment after a vacation. They even cleaned both the inside and outside of my car! Really honest, helpful, fair and kind. It s the best place to bring your car and they do great work for a fair price. I ve had my bumper replaced a few times and their prices are the best, they do the best job, and answer all your questions without making you feel dumb. This is basically the only car place I m comfortable bringing my car without needing to bring a man with me to make sure I m treated fairly. Really glad they are kind and fair to everyone.

Stopped in today to get help with a problem with my window. My car was broken into and my back window was messed up. Chase was the one who helped me. He was very kind, quick and honest. Definitely coming back here if I have any other car issues.

I called for a estimate and they got me an estimate right away. Super friendly staff. Listened to what I wanted done. Got me in earlier than they thought they could get me in and got a free loaner car while my car was getting fixed. When I went to pick up my car, it was better than I was expecting. Would absolutely recommend for your car needs. If I ever need a body shop again I will definitely be back.

Came in to get a scrape fixed along the side of my car. The team was super friendly and helpful in laying out my repair options, the repair was super quick and even ended up being cheaper than their estimate. The free loaner car was a huge bonus as well. The staff is so sweet and friendly. I haven't felt that comfortable being in an auto shop until I went here. They made sure I understood everything and walked me through the process. They also gave me suggestions on what to do regarding my car. I definitely recommend them!

I am SO impressed with Central Ave Auto Body. They did my bumper replacement and side wall repair using after market parts, and my car looks better than when I bought it. Gary was able to do a walk in estimate on a Thursday and they fit me in on Monday. My repair only took 1.5 days, they gave me a free loaner car, and the price ended up being $100 less than the estimate. Rick, Ray, and Gary provided expert-level knowledge while being flexible, down to earth, and funny. I could not be more impressed. Go to Central!

It is hard to find a quality, honest auto body shop and that is exactly what Central Avenue Auto Body shop is. I needed my mirror fixed and the other establishment I went to just gave me an estimate to replace the whole thing. They guys at Central Ave took the time to take a quick look at my mirror to realize only part of it needed replacing saving everyone involved time and money. Very pleased with the quality of work - highly recommend!

This was the best car care experience I've had, bar none. The communication was exactly what you want: upfront, clear, and propositional rather than assumptive. As in, they fully explain to you what they think is best, get your thoughts, and confirm with you before they do it. If anything unexpected comes up, they stop working and ask you what you want them to do. They stick to their word, deliver on their prices, and commit to a sound time table. Could ask for nothing better.

I came into Central Avenue Auto Body this morning with a small bend in my driver's door that was preventing it from sealing completely when closed. Rick took a look at the problem, had me roll down the window, and bent it back in one quick movement; he then shook my hand, told me to have a nice day, and sent me on my way without charging me for anything.We will definitely be back if we need any body work done. Frankly, I hope that we have some actual damage at some point so I can come here and pay them.Service: Body & Trim

I needed to replace a rear door. Went to one place and the quote was $3,750 which felt a little steep so I got a second opinion at Central Avenue Auto Body. They told me the first quote was completely ridiculous and quoted me at around $1,700. The work performed looks good as new. Can t even tell I got it replaced. It looks even better than before because they also washed my windows and vacuumed everything for free! I can t imagine going anywhere else for car service I m so impressed with this shop.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Our car was stolen and recovered with somewhat minimal body damage. We took it to Central Ave Auto Body for an estimate and I felt they were very fair. They didn't try to talk me into stuff I didn't need, just the basics to help get the car back into shape. Insurance wasn't covering the costs, it was all out of pocket, and they were sympathetic, I didn't feel like they tried to gouge me.They team was very friendly and responsive, turn around time was great.I would hands down recommend them. There's a reason these guys have almost a 5 star rating, they deserve it. These guys emailed me back and forth for two months while I was waiting on insurance claims for a couple of scrapes and a penny size dent in my door frame answering all my questions and concerns (keep in mind I know nothing about cars or rust). Every single one of them was kind, professional, and worked hard to make sure I had a fair deal (I had crossed checked the estimate with a friend of mine who is a mechanic). They got my car back to me in half the time they expected to take and worked with me on what they considered was a fair price for the both of us. The car looks brand new now, you would never even know it got hit. As someone who was nervous about their first accident fix, I can now say after everything is done I highly recommend this shop.Services: Painting, Welding

Moving from Pittsburgh I was nervous I was going to get jipped in price and service.. HOWEVER the gentleman at the Central Auto Body Shop were remarkable. They finished my car in such a timely manner and went above and beyond repairing the damage. Not only did they fix the damage on the outside but they also detailed the inside of my car. They were so nice and just provided and overall great experience. Hopefully I won t have anymore reasons to go back, but if I do I know they ll take care of me!

I had my Trunk lid repainted, and some minor work replacing the front wheel well fender, covered all the work exceptionally and would recommend to anyone seeking body work. Got a few estimates around town, but none would do the thoroughness of stripping off and repainting the lid, plus it was important for me to support a local business. Staff always friendly and very detailed in explaining what needed to be done, no surprises at all. In the end, a great experience, glad I met them, and wouldn't hesitate to trust them to fix my car again .... Thanks much!
