These guys are the best!! My car got busted in an accident and the insurance company declared it totalled. But Baraka gave me a super reasonable quote and fixed it in less than a week! It looks gorgeous, like nothing ever happened. I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

If you don't know anything about cars, beware that they know that, and will try to charge you for unnecessary services. I went in for a typical oil change, and I made the mistake of asking if they could possibly get me in sometime to do my brakes and tires. They proceeded to then bring me back in the shop, and tell me that they "don't even know how I'm driving my vehicle in this condition". Told me that I needed brake pads, rotors, tire rods, control arms etc replaced. I then went to multiple other shops and got inspections done. For those shops to basically tell me I need my brake pads replaced, and other basic maintenance repairs. Had I gone through them, I would've been screwed out of $2000+. This place WILL take advantage of you if you are naive to their antics.

Someone had hit my car a few days ago (a dent& paint chip), I brought my car to Baraka Auto Tuesday morning and they had it fixed by Tuesday evening!! I was worried since my car was a bit newer the paint wouldn t match but it was perfect. Fast, quality, and super affordable! Will definitely be coming back

Baraka has the best service I have experienced at any mechanic in Minnesota. They will tell you how it is and won t do any cheap tricks just to keep you going for another month! This place is great!! If I m having car problems this is the first place I would go. They go above and beyond what you expect. Came in for an oil change they fixed my headlights for no extra cost. Worst ever place i visit they r thieves and layers , they cheating the customers, please even close to them. 1st time in went to get code for fixing the body shop of car, they gave different prices 1000, 2500, 4500, 5500 . Finally we agreed 4500 us and car still is not good. They re not good people. Very bad and ugly. Shame on u.

Just moved to Minneapolis to work with refugees with teaching English so the mission van needed a repair so we gave Baraka auto a try . They kept their promises and installed the parts on the same day they arrived . We are well satisfied.

Bought a Groupon. Asked the guy about a oil change. He had time to do it, according to him, then once I said it was a Groupon I had, he all of a sudden didnt have time. Told me to come back... And didn't know when I should come back. This place has so many bad reviews. Nobody should do business with them. Im going to report them to Groupon. This is unprofessional and seems like a scam.

I highly recommend this place for all ur auto repair, very affordable , kumar was very helpful infact he offered me his own car till my car gets repaired. They have two stores and staff at both the stores are very very friendly .

I m definitely not thrilled with the service. I came in with a wobbly tire and was told I needed 4 new tires, but the explanation didn t make sense. I felt like they were just trying to sell me some new tires. Eventually they rotated my tires for $10, which seems to have fixed the problem just fine.Then the next day I lost a hubcap. When I checked the others they were barely hanging on. So I definitely don t think attention to detail is their strength, either.

The place doesn t look like much...you can hardly tell it s Baraka...looks more like a tire shop from the outside. But they do a great job with speedy service for oil changes.I redeemed a Groupon at the original Baraka Auto in NE Minneapolis. They said I could redeem the remainder at this location - no problems. I was in and out in half an hour with a synthetic oil change.

This place was horrible. I purchased an oil change with tire rotation, they not only didn't rotate my tires but didn't even check them, the next day I had to pull over cause the LUG NUTS WERE SO LOOSE THAT MY TIRE WAS WOBBLING! Also, shortly after leaving their shop, my oil light came on (it wasn't coming on before I went to the shop) so I just checked my oil and whatever they put in my car was NOT oil.... it had the look, smell, and consistency of transmission fluid. The engine in my car could very well be trashed!! And, here's the freaking kicker, I didn't get a single piece of paperwork when they were finished, no receipt, no labor summary, NOTHING. The only proof I have is the groupon receipt. I am beyond unsatisfied!!!!!
