I went to AutoZone yesterday for windshield wipers. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by a polite young man with locs. I apologize that I did not get his name but he took me to the aisle where the wipers were located, explained the differences between the variety of wiper blades and asked if I needed assistance with installing them to my truck. The weather was really cold and windy yesterday but nonetheless the young man removed my old wiper blades and installed the new ones. The customer service I received went above and beyond my expectations and I am very grateful! Thank you again young man and AutoZone for providing great service on a very cold day!

Got a new battery in October. It died by February. (Turns out they sold me an old battery). Then the manager tells me they can t even get a new battery to the shop .7 miles away, and to bad just come get a refund.Going to this location even with the refund costed me $300 with having to get my car towed, diagnostics, and labor.Thanks autozone

Tells me I need my battery recharged but they won't do it even though the big sign says, "free battery charging". What kind of sense does that make??? Huge waste of time coming here.

Didnt have any of the items it said they had. Came from ways away. No one was at desk or in aisle. Heard two guys in back. One says, u want to get rid of the morons or u. Says i will just say its gone.Exactly what happened. He goes no dont have it after calling earler to say it was there. Computer count said it was there. He sent me to my 4th store whose inventory was also wrong.

Matt was vary helpful found the part my customer was needing also was patient with my customer's raddieness (she had a wild hair in somewhere...well y'all know where) all of this happened minutes to close.

I like this place a lot and I would shop there again very much so because we know sooner got in the door and had immediate assistance, helping us find everything we needed and then we got a Bonus besides that one of the clerks or the salesman/ employees came out side to put my oil in my car for me. I was absolutely amazed he had no problem. He acted almost as if it was an honor to help me out and his name is Frank. So AutoZone bosses and supervisors treat Frank good because he knows how to treat your customers to keep them coming back

I am NOT a car guy but I rely on my car to get me to and from work. These guys are able to help me find what I need for my car and not oversell like so many places. They are friendly and helpful. I feel comfortable asking questions with worrying about being taken advantage of. Definitely recommend for the "non-car" consumer that needs the best advice for taking of their car.

The staff was knowledgeable and honest about their limits. They replaced my friend s battery, and tried to fix the headlight too. The staff explained the headlight issue better than the mechanics I went to. Kind, respectful, and patient. Staff explained everything without being condescending. It s awesome to see that the Auto Zone here has the same amazing customer service as the one back home.

Stopped in the other night to get a new passenger door handle for my truck, I should of checked better because I was sold the drivers side. Upon returning it for an even exchange I was charged tax again and told that in MN when you return something g you don t get the tax back. I was in too big a hurry to argue about it, but that sir, is not correct.

My husband and I were in desperate need of a battery. Jumping our car all week had become a complete inconvenience. We have a 2008 GMC Acadia and anybody familiar with this model knows, it s not an easy battery install. Unlike most cars where the battery is typically under the hood, this one is a little more complicated to get to. We did not have the tools to do it ourselves, so we gave Auto Zone a call to see if they first had the battery we were looking for and secondly if they could install it. They had the battery. Great! He informed us as they do help with regular battery installs, they do not usually do it for this particular vehicle because the difficulty of actually getting to it. Omar said he would take a look when we arrived. We got there and he was nothing but patient, kind and understanding. He took his time and was thorough. He installed the battery absolutely perfectly. Such a wonderful experience. Omar is a great representation of your company and a true treasure to your establishment. We will definitely be back and we are happy to attribute that solely to your employee Omar, who went out of his way, when he did not necessarily have to. Thank you Auto Zone. And a special thanks to Omar!!

After a 5 state trip the battery light came on. Stopped into get it tested. Matt went above and beyond for us! Tested the battery, it was good. So he cleaned the terminals and found a loose connector. Super friendly and helpful! Thank you so much!

I bought 2 qts. of trans.fluid on 8/27/2022.There was rap music blaring in the store.A heavy set girl with glasses in her 20's waited on me.After I paid I asked for a bag.She very smartly said they don't have bags.I told her I know where I won't be coming any more.She said whatever.I walked out the door and she was right behind me.That was strange I thought.After I got in my truck I saw her and waved at her.She flipped me off and walked back in the store.I have never been disrespected like this at any place of business.I will NEVER do business there again

Exceptionally helpful staff! Took the make and model of my vehicle and helped me select an appropriate brand and size for my car. Printed out a list so I could go grab the parts I needed, all while being friendly and patient. I got great wiper blades and a good deal on washer fluid. Definitely planning on visiting this location again!

Staff are very helpful. On of the staff also let me borrow some tools to fix the issue i had in my truck and the car. The oils and filters were also in discount and one of the stuff applied coupons to give me more discount. Thank you

The location itself is convenient and clean, but what's really great are the employees. I had a headlight out and they not only had the bulb on hold for me to pick it up, they then swapped out the old bulb for the new (despite the fact that my car did not make that an easy project). Then we realized that I had asked them for the wrong bulb (low beam instead of high) and they swapped the part without any fuss. were very understanding at my lack of technically knowledge and talked me through a lot of what was going on. Top notch and really friendly.

04/2019 update: the young man who "helped" me was so rude and so lazy! His performance was ABSOLUTELY not what I'd expect from this location. I can't give them less than 5 stars after a decade of perfectly impeccable service because of one bad hire but I was very displeased with today's uninformed, unhelpful and disrespectful employee. Thanks to another young associate (who displayed the same great service my family and I have ALWAYS received from this location) I left more than happy, as I always have, but only because one associate was willing to cover for the failings of another.( 2017 post): Wonderful! Helping me out with a new battery in the freezing rain. And they actually told me to hold off on another purchase until I knew I needed it to save money.

on Jan 28 2021 the two children working that afternoon were not aware that I walked in and browsed around the isles. They were on their phones watching videos, ordering food and making evening plans with friends. I said my good bye, which was ignored, and spent my 400 bucks at O'Reilly down the street. They greated me with smiles and asked "how can I help you?"

I had a WONDERFUL experience today your Central Ave (Northeast Minneapolis) location. I came in to get my battery tested and replaced. There were some troubles with rusting on the posts. Kyle was both diligent and resourceful in helping replace my battery. He went above and beyond finding the extra parts I needed, modifying the part when it didn't fit correctly, and installing everything, all while being humble and respectful. Truly a wonderful employee and a great experience. I hope that Kyle and his team can be rewarded somehow for their kind and well-done work. Way to go Autozone Central Ave!!!

They got a wide variety in a good selection of pretty much anything and the staff is very friendly very helpful never been dissatisfied if they don't have a partner I'm sure they can order it for you with my experiences that's what it was it's a pretty good-sized store there's security there in like most places they have the plexiglass up in between the customer and the professional that helps you

I can't recommend this place especially during these Covid times as a safe place for the community to shop, as the cashiers at the register this morning were all actively discussing and agreeing with Covid denialism and conspiracy theories among themselves while I was browsing the store earlier today.If they're willing to believe falsified videos and reports from questionable sources 'infiltrating' hospitals and saying that Covid numbers are fake and that they aren't going to get vaccinated due to it all being some government conspiracy then how can I in good conscience shop at this store? Holding views like that, goodness knows if they are following proper Covid protocols on the job for the sake of all the people who come through there. If it's all 'fake' to them, proper sanitization, social distancing, and mask wearing probably aren't in the forefront of their minds. Given that it wasn't until I approached the counter that they even had their masks pulled up fully, that kind of lax safety attitude seems to be the case.We're nearly a year into this, and almost a half of a million people are dead in the US with millions more who have survived but have further complications that will burden them the rest of their lives. This is serious. Take it seriously.
