My truck has been here since Thursday night of last week. As of now still no communication. Still waiting for an estimate. We where told it was on a priority list Thursday night and would be looked at that night, it wasn't looked at until Friday at 3. Been in a hotel since. This is day 4.

Zero stars if I could. 3 weeks my truck sat there with nothing done. Called around other international dealers and they told me truck could be done day and a half tops. 3 weeks wasted with no progression and now the day after I pick up my truck and bring it to Springfield MO at Rush truck centers my truck is almost done and will be ready by the end of the day.

Called for a radiator hose. Gave them the vin for the vehicle and the parts guy said they had one on hand. I show up to get it and they don't have any change for cash paying customers! Credit card processing is 5% which is 2% higher than any credit card processing company! Get home only to find out the guy sold me a upper radiator hose instead of the lower. Both locations are beyond terrible.

I brought my vehicle heat with with a leaking radiator looking for an estimate to replace. The service manager Bruce told me it would be $400 to diagnose the issue. He called later and told me it would be $3000 to fix. I told him that was out of my budget. When I went back in to find out where the leaks were he couldn t tel me because they had not taken the radiator apart because they felt it was to bad of a leak but they still want $432 for the diagnostic. I asked to have a technician show me where the problems were because I wanted to get as much information out for my money as possible. They could only tell me it needed a new radiator. All this I already knew and couldn t take two hours to diagnose because nothing was disassembled yet they would not work with me to find an alternative solution or recommend alternative options. The service manager was very short when offering feedback. I would not return to this international service shop.* update after talking with Bruce some more he was willing to knock of the parts fee to bring the cost to $392 which Inappreciate and while I was out stewing and leaving my poor review he googled to see if there was a cheaper used part somewhere (they use premium new parts in the shop) another thing I appreciate. So I m raising my review to 2 stars but still wouldn t return as they would only show me the work they had done by adding an additional line or the bill which made the whole operation feel shady. I believe they do good work but they are not truly accessible to the a budget conscious customer. And they wont even begin to help guide / troubleshoot without an excessive $200/hour 2 hour minimum charge to diagnose even remotely f you already know the problem. The fact that over a quarter of their reviews are 1 star speaks volumes

We recently scheduled one of trucks for some warranty and other necessary fixes. Once the truck was scheduled, Bruce (service contact) noticed there was other warranty recalls that wasn't on our radar (thanks Bruce)! He quickly had the parts on order, installed and we were back on the road with little down time or distribution to business needs.

My truck was broke. They fixed it. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time. I was kept in the loop regarding necessary repairs and the cost of them. Bruce was very helpful with answering all of my questions.

On Feb 1st I dropped my truck off for service. Issue was brake light and check engine light on and I wanted an oil change. While talking with the person at drop off time he acknowledged that the brake light issue and the symptoms that came along with it was a common problem and he pretty knew what the problem was. Thank you for being honest sir. He also made a comment that he would probably pull it in that night and get a look at it. Can't complain about that.. In the same conversation he asked if I wanted to be contacted with an estimate before any repairs. I said yes. He then checked a box. One week later I received a phone call stating that the brake light repair was done and the bill would be about $300.00 for that. Also the oil change had already been done and the bill would be about $175.00 for that. The service advisor also mentioned that the DPF sensor had been replaced but did not fix the problem for the check engine light. He then said that they are working on it and looking for the real problem. Finally on the 21st I got another call saying that they don't know what the problem is yet and that they wanted to get the engineers involved from Navistar. Engineers came back with replace the turbo. Apparently it fixed it. I don't know cause I just brought the truck home today. My real problem is. Why was I quoted $300.00 when the actual bill was $615.00? More than double for the brake light repair. Also my quoted $175.00 oil change turned into a $235.00 PM not to mention they tried to bill me for 20qts of oil so it would have been much more if I had not caught it? My truck only takes 10qts. Why wasn't Navistar involved much sooner? I went 5weeks without my truck. To an owner operator that means 5 weeks without pay and 5 weeks that I had to pay for insurance for nothing. I really believe this could have been done a lot quicker. Not to mention no body gave me an est. before doing anything. I'm grateful that the turbo was under warranty. In the end the communication from the service department is lacking and untruthful.I'm not even going to mention why I did not buy my truck here due to the rude sale person that would not return a call or email. My experience with the parts department was very good. Sales and service are lacking.

Plain and simple great service! If you're looking for qualified mechanics who know what they're doing this is the place to go. The manager Bruce in the service department is as good as they come, does a great job and a pleasure to work with. Best shop in area hands down!!

I have been taking my Trucks to Astleford for years.. My visits have not been pleasant in the past years.. However things have changed and my view on Astleford has changed. I never take the time to write a review but this one is well deserved. The new service leader Bruce is a breath of fresh air. He communicates well and updates me often while i am waiting on parts. My billing has been spot on and i have not been over charged. I will continue to purchase trucks from you and bring them in when knowing i will be taken care of the best way possible.Thank YousincerlyGary Ohnstad Bobby and Steve Autoworld

Very courteous. Professional. Understanding and Accommodating.Despite being very busy, they took the time to assess the problem while my guys were under a load. They diagnosed but did not have the part in stock. We were able to pick up the part on the road and at the next stop found a mechanic to make the repair. Due to their correct diagnosis, this was a very smooth process. Thank you for taking care of my guys.

Service was performed. Just like most shops they always find more that can be fixed, that wasn't originally brought up. Friendly and communicated well.

Took my truck here for sporadic boost issues. They claimed they repaired it ($1200). Made it a mile, same issues. Turned around brought it back. Made a couple more simple repairs. And was told it needed a turbo. My turbo had less than 20 miles on it, it was just remanufactured by a very reputable company.Didn't make it out of the parking lot this time before it lost power. A friend recommended a different shop. They diagnosed it as a clogged muffler. I found it hard to believe, but I replaced the muffler and the truck has been running like new. Turns out dealerships are not superior to small diesel shops.

Company policy they can t give out part numbers- what a joke, Lauren had no problem giving me part numbers because they were so hard to find in the older trucks reading dealer codes. They wanted $1750 for a radiator on 90 4700 & $1000 for a fan clutch & refused to give out part numbers cause they want to steal your hard earned money. Horrible service & horrible people for that matter

They said they had the truck done early. But wasted another hour putting the rest of the parts back on. Which took 15 minutes. Then they had it pulled out of the shop and wasted another hour and 15 minutes to tell me they just pulled it out. Which I could see where it was from the lounge. Plus the guy that gives you your paperwork and sends you on your way. Dilly dallys a lot. So he likes to waste time.

Before you buy any parts from this dealer, ask if they will warrant their parts first otherwise don't be surprised if they refuse to honor their warrant or even refund your money for any defective parts. In addition, they have no refund policy either.

Both visits have been proficient. Got my truck back much faster than expected. Bruce had an educated guess that turned out exactly correct.

Our boom truck broke down and Astleford International took the time to get us back up and running fast.....we were expecting a week. We were up and running in 2 days! Thank you to Bruce and the entire crew who helped get us back on the job so soon.

I don't recommend this store and their services to anyone. Got my truck in for low power, they told me I have to change bunch of parts and total will cost me $10,750.00. I told them to proceed with the repair, after I got the truck and took it for the first load, the same problem occurred. I took it back to them and they said it's going to cost me another 6k to fix what I already paid almost 11k for them to fix. I took the truck home, watched a couple of YouTube videos, got a IPR pressure release valve for $45 change it myself and my truck runs like new. Wrong diagnosis, they depend too much on their scanner and do not use their common sense anymore. Took out bunch of screws and didn't fit them back. Just a terrible experience. I'm currently working with an attorney to get them to court.

Giving 5 Stars because I love the retro style of the 1920s. This building not only had 70 years of grease buildup in the shop but they also banned electric trucks!! Keep on the good fight.

If I had a truck breakdown across the street from this location I would pay to have it towed anywhere else. The worst customer service , total lack of communication, anytime the service department said they would send me documentation it never happened. All of which I may have overlooked if they had fixed my truck properly, but that did not happen either. Truck broke down on the second trip out after they worked on it. A breakdown verified by another International dealer as due to a mistake made on the original repair. Cost an additional $1000 for roadside and towing and Astleford would not stand behind the work or take any responsibility.

0 STARS! WORST experience I've ever had in my life! POOR customer service, POOR communication, LACK professionalism. First and LAST time for me. My truck has been in there for almost 1 month when promised a way earlier date! No one can give me a reason why either! Highly do not recommend.

If you can take your vehicle ANYWHERE else, you really should. These people do not understand customer service and will not own up to their mistakes. Your cash is all they're after, your potential return visit means nothing. My problem was misdiagnosed (verified by third party) and charged several thousand dollars. When the problem returned, they charged thousands more to fix it again. Never have I had such a bad (and costly) mechanic experience in my life, and never again.

They kept my truck for 8 day and did nothing, after assuring me that the service would be done with in a matter of hours. Everyday was another excuse, I mean how long does it takes to do a DOT inspection, really wow!! I ended up taking my truck and lost a week of revenue. Don't take your truck to them they cannot be trusted.

Incompetent, unprofessional, dishonest and frankly the worst customer service I have experienced in a long long while. We have spent over 20K at the dealership (new rebuilt motor and variety of parts). We brought our Bus with a low coolant light issue that wasn't shutting off even though coolant level was correct (minor issue but couldn't resolve it without professional scanner tool only dealer has), plus another unrelated issue to be fixed. We perform certain mechanical repair in house and unplugged the sensor ahead of dropping the vehicle off. Received a call with an estimate and so forth, accepted it and had them fix both issues. First they charged my card 600$ more than the estimate was originally, claiming the repair ended up being more complex than originally thought. No call no specifics. Very unprofessional, but ok. We brought the bus back to the shop, opened the hood to check the repairs and found coolant sensor plug completely cut off!!! Wow!! I called them right the way.. guy on the phone tried to play down the notion of complete, despicable act of neglect and said there was no reason for them to do such thing. Assured me it will be taken care of. We brought the bus back to service. I received a call coupled days later with an estimate to fix the plug... I was in disbelief. I refused to pay for it obviously and after minutes of back and forth decided to pay for the new plug only.. I wish I remember his name so I could insert it here for the management to see but I don't think it would be hard to find out, but honestly at that point I just wanted my vehicle back and deal with these people. I was sicken by what they did and how they handled it, at one point trying to push a narrative that we did it.. What a horrendous experience, unpleasant employees and despiteful work ethics. I hope I never have to go back! Stay away!
