I've been bringing cars here for various repairs as well as routine maintenance for 30+ years. They are just the BEST! They are honest and the pricing is fair/competitive and they stand behind their work. I often wait while they work on my car so have time to watch the Amigo team in action. The staff do an exceptional job of explaining problems to the vehicle's owner and don't employ high pressure sales techniques. Staff all seem happy and enjoy and take pride in their work.

I highly recommend. Brought my 300c in for a messed up windshield sprayer and a front clunk that a few other shops couldn't figure out. They narrowed it down to a bushing and fixed my sprayer up perfectly.

Highly skilled and superbly honest. They keep my cars running with approperat maintance and affordable repairs. The best technicians in the twin cities. Fast oil changes. A clean reception and waiting area.

I ran over something with my tire and needed to have the tire patched. I called Amigo they said they could help and it s first come first serve. I showed up around 11:30AM. They told me it would take about an hour, I waited around and they got it done in less than the time quoted. Super professional and affordable. This was my first experience with Amigo and I will definitely be back for my other car needs.

I drove to Amigo with a flat tire. They took my car immediately and patched/filled the tire for under 50$. If I had taken my car to a chain tire place I fully believe they d have sold me a new tire. The one place I called said they d need my car the whole weekend. Friendly staff, great service, probably the best experience I ve had with getting work done on my extremely annoying german car. THANK YOU!!!!!

Car broke down Sunday. Should've got bids. AMIGOS were nice, as my one friend said, my other friend said because Amigo is so much more expensive. Okay, Todd called me right away Monday morning (he looks like Skinner;Michael Pleggi (sp?) from X-files! LOL) tried to upsell me a clutch plate kit along with my broken slave cylinder since he was going to be in the tranny, but I had to ask if they looked at condition of 2001 car. He called back admitted rusty frame. Then I had to ask cost of just the slave cylinder what I knew it needed as I replaced the clutch master cylinder on the firewall. Then he finally gave me what I asked for at the beginning. It was over priced. I asked him to use the bottle of brake fluid sitting on the passenger seat. He said that was peanuts. He made it sound like he wasn't confident they could get it done the next day (they had vehicle for 2days) & not confident could properly bleed system. Not sure why. So quote of $950 had bleeding added $50 and another $5 for brake fluid as a kick in the nuts. $1005. Yes- you get a bad review. They were done by middle of 2nd day and no issues with bleeding vehicle or my pocket book! I now have a full bottle of brake fluid that I suspect I won't need for some time as a visual reminder.

Amigo is the best in the business. I came here after issues with another local shop because of my father in law s recommendation. I brought in a Volvo that s had a check engine light on and off for several years. I have taken it to many different shops that diagnose, fix, and then the light comes on again. The guys at Amigo were determined to fix this light for me. It has been such a relief to get this properly taken care. They gained a lifelong customer.

I had to bring my BMW in for a clutch. It has a few more tricks to it then stock. The clutch is perfect. 2 stage on top of that. They also helped me in making me aware of other issues also. New battery, back breaks . You get the idea. A positive attitude and excellent work ethic. Give the a try . Tell them the crabby BMW guy sent you. Lol. I was not the easiest person to deal with at that time. They were epic on the dealing with me.They are professional in every aspect.

Timely and affordable repairs. Having grown up in a small town rural environment, Amigos is honest like I'd expect in a smaller community where people know everyone. I have zero hesitation recommending these guys. Plus, they stand behind their work. Customer service is top notch in that regard.

I haven't used Amigo in almost a decade but they were as quick and affordable as I remembered. They got my truck in for a suspension upgrade on short notice and had it turned around in a couple hours. I'll be back!

We have been using Amigo for almost 20 years, and would never take our vehicles elsewhere. Their honesty and transparency is second to none, and they've helped keep our used vehicles alive a lot longer than anticipated. We were in this week, anticipating we'd be purchasing 2-4 new tires for our vehicle after discovering a flat. Rather, they pulled off the spare, patched our tire, and replaced it. I can guarantee any other place would've sold us new tires instead. I've never doubted any service they've suggested. Would (and do) highly recommend Amigo to anyone looking for an honest car shop.Services: Tires, Engine repair

i went there a couple weeks ago because i had a flat tire that i wanted patched up. they told me it couldn t be patched and i had to buy a new one. they asked me if i wanted the flat tire disposed of and i told them no, to put it back in my trunk. they didn t put it back, so that seemed a little sketchy. might ve been fixable and they just wanted me to buy a new tire. now, my car door is like falling apart as of a couple days ago. not sure if it s related, but i m not happy.Service: Tires

This is the best auto shop!! My fianc� and I feel safe and welcome as a young queer couple which is huge! They never pressure us to buy more than we need and always help walk us through what needs fixing, the cost of parts, labor, etc. They re really communicative and make sure we re comfortable with pricing before doing any work. Everyone is so friendly and the service is fast! When we first moved to uptown our car broke down on moving day and they were quick and so helpful! We trust them wholeheartedly and know they won t rip us off or make us feel like we don t know anything and are incompetent like some other auto shops have in the past. I 10/10 recommend Amigo Service Center and we are very grateful!

Got stranded in the area with a flat tire late at night and had to leave my car here overnight. Turned out to be a lucky break, they were able to repair it by 10am the next morning and it was only $36! Will definitely come back, thank you!

Had my car brought here and they replaced a sensor and did an oil change. Literally 10 miles down the road it completely brakes down and won t drive. Had it brought back and they say my entire engine needs to be replaced... right after they looked at it and fixed it. Definition of a scam and horrible business practice. Like who fixes a car and sends it out on the road with more issues? We moved to Minneapolis 2 years ago and found Amigo. Todd and his team have been our new hometown car crew. Taken our cars to them for oil changes, tire changes and pre-trip inspections. Always great customer service, reasonable pricing and quality of work! Glad to recommend Todd and his crew!

I have been been going here for years with seemingly good results, but the other day I brought my vehicle for a simple oil change. A day or two later there is oil dripping from the engine. Upon further inspection there is oil everywhere, my skid plate has half the bolts installed, and a piece of the skid plate is missing. After paying over 100 bucks for the oil change, 2 days later I had to take it somewhere else and have the oil change done again. I will not be taking my vehicles there for service anymore. I would stay clear it you can.

I came there in October to get my vehicle looked at and to have the problem fixed.this is my first vehicle.They told me it was going to be close to $900 which imma and my friend paid for. A week later my car was done wasn t driving no where. After I done spent my hard earned working money. Somebody told me not to go here. But my friend suggested that I go so I went. Now my car has been done since October. She also has her bank statements as well (proof of amigos taking money off her cards). I paid the rest in cash which I have my receipts. I don t like wasting money on Mechanics that don t do a full detail exception on my vehicle. The only reason why I m reaching out because someone told me to post this and call.

My family has trusted our car repair and maintenance to Todd and the team at Amigo for many years. They are always friendly and communicative when setting up appointments, and reporting on what they have found under the hood. We've had a variety of older used cars with plenty of ongoing issues, and the guys at Amigo are happy to keep the focus on the most pressing needs to keep us safely on the road without breaking the bank. I ended up with an Allen wrench in my tire and just happened to park a block away from these folks-- they managed to patch my tire and have me out shortly considering I dropped in out of nowhere. They seem to have fostered a good connection with their community and offer honest consultations and services. I wouldn't hesitate to have my car serviced here again based on my experience.Service: Tires

Their service seemed fine but I recently got my engine checked at their business and apon return of my vehicle I noticed that the emblem on my Mercedes was taken and they acted like they knew nothing about it. A friend of mine recommended Amigo to me after she was having a couple problems with her car which they easily fixed. Today was the third time I've brought my vehicle to them now and I am extremely impressed.I dropped it off and told them my back wheels were giving me some noise (knowing very well it was likely my wheel bearing). They called me back after a couple hours and told me I needed three repairs. I asked them straight up how important each repair was and they told me exactly how important they were. Luckily I had the extra money to ensure my car was fixed right away so I told them to do two of the three repairs.They told me they weren't sure if it could get finished before the end of the day, but two hours before they closed they called me and said it was done (fast!). Did it get finished faster because I told them I had intended on going out of town tonight, but could probably hold off until tomorrow if necessary?When I got there I paid for my repairs (cheaper than I expected, BTW, I had anticipated about $100-150 more), and then asked if they could show me what was broken. I'm not a car genius, but with a friend's help I have made 2-3 repairs to the car when I was low on cash and had time. They told me without messing around it wouldn't be a really difficult repair as long as I could break the part loose (rust definitely can make a simple repair difficult at times). Wow!This place is honest and straight-forward. It was cheaper than I expected, and the guys that worked there were super cool with me, smiling and happy. Very grateful to have these guys fix my car.Will recommend to everyone I know.

Amigo is a very well run shop. I have taken my cars to them for 4 years now and have always been pleased with their service. They make every automotive issue and oil change as painless as possible and they are transparent in their pricing. Amigo!!! Fair, honest, excellent service. They have been around a long time. We first started going to Amigo when the parents of Todd who is the current owner ran the family business. They have serviced our cars for 25 years. My husband and I would not think of going anywhere else. They are also great participants in our community. Thank you Amigo!

Just brought my car in on Thursday. Asked them to check out the steering/suspension. They said everything was fine.Now Saturday, I drive to Target and when I come back to my car after shopping, i cant steer and there is fluid splattered all over in the engine.I literally asked them to check into the steering 2 days ago.
