Excellent customer care and very fair pricing. I got my appointment date mixed up and arrived a week early - they were very kind about it and still found the time to do the work, which I very much appreciated.They followed up a week later with a text to make sure I was happy with the work (which I was). I would not hesitate to recommend this shop.I should also mention that you don't need to be driving a fancy import to use their services (though this seems like a great place to take your pride and joy).

Greatest and most valuable service I have had so far. You never need to worry about getting overcharged for anything, and you will always be welcomed and treated with respect. Just make sure to book the appointment one month ahead and your vehicle will be taken good care of.

Had to replace the water pump and oil separator on a 2016 Audi A6. They did an amazing job for half the price of other quotes I got. William is very helpful and friendly. There was a little hiccup but they took care of it very quickly. If you have a German or import car you can trust this shop. Will definitely take my car here in the future for any repairs or maintenance.

We take our Mini Cooper here and they always do such a perfect job. The staff is so nice and helpful, the service is always right and efficient, and the pricing doesn t feel like they are trying to get you to sell your kidney to have to pay for it. I would recommend everyone to go here 100 percent.

Would highly recommend Alexander s import. They re friendly, honest, and have great staff. I took my car to Flannery s before and had a terrible experience with them. Will be going to Alexander s as long as i live in the area.

Came here for a second opinion on a costly repair, they said I didn t need it and didn t charge me to look at it. Incredible service would recommend this honest shop to anyone.

William and the crew at Alexander's is top notch! Brought my Z3 there for radiator, belts, pump replacement. Friend of mine, who has always done his own auto repair, started bringing his vehicles there. They do a great job and are trustworthy!!! Your quest for the right "doctor" for your ride is over with one phone call or chat.

Definitely get your car fixed here. I think this may have been the first time I haven t felt taken advantage of getting my car repaired. Extremely fair prices, clear risk definitions and well beyond the call of duty. William was extremely helpful and earned a lifetime customer this week.Update:I haven t even thought about taking my cars anywhere else in the last 3 years. I d put money on this being the best, friendliest repair shop in the Twin Cities.

As someone passionate about anything automotive, it's a joy to have found a place that treats my cars with the utmost care and expertise.My "vintage" 1991 Toyota 4Runner was experiencing a number of issues, but the team at Alexander's completely sorted it out, making it run perfectly with everything working as it should. We love Alexander s. We trust them to be honest about what our car does or doesn t need. They can offer loaners when we need them, and repairs are done as agreed at a fair price. They are great!We've been going to them for years now, and just recently they really came through for us when we needed some emergency repairs, finding ways to squeeze us in, and were so kind about it. We really appreciate their service!

I'm a fan! My first visit was a general check up; service was prompt, thorough, and courteous. My second visit was about the dead battery in my smart key. They had that fixed in about 15 minutes. I've used Alexander's for two years now, and I continue to be a fan. My last visit was for two slowly leaking tires. Both were fixed for $70. I'm very pleased with their service. And it's nice to be recognized when I go in - something that didn't happen when I went to my dealership.

Alexander's is the best auto shop I've worked with. They are very careful to make sure my car is running properly before returning it. I recently had a big service done there and they noticed the cooling system was malfunctioning. They explained what was going on and took the time to fix it properly. My car is running better than ever now. The price very reasonable and what I had expected. The people there are very kind, friendly, and a joy to work with.

Excellent service! The staff is very helpful and they truly know what they are doing! I had been taking my car to subaru dealers before bringing it to Alexanders and I feel so much more confident that my car will actually be fixed at Alexander's auto! They are just really good mechanics and their prices are fair.

I ve been taking my car to Alexander s Import Auto Repair since I moved to town 4 years ago, and have repeatedly had excellent, prompt, reasonably priced, friendly service! They always fit me in to their schedule as soon as they can, if I need a loner car they almost always can accommodate, they do excellent work on our vehicles, they are timely, and never make unnecessary recommendations. I especially appreciate their friendly demeanor and ability to explain what s happening with our cars in a way that is not condescending. It s hard to find a car repair shop that hits so many marks, and Alexander s hits them all in my book! I highly recommend this place!!

These guys are great and HONEST. I ve twice had my BMW checked out here after getting a high estimate elsewhere. Alexander s is priced much more realistically and they don t do unnecessary repairs that some other places try to foist on me. So great having mechanics I can trust and who do great work. They re also just good, polite guys. I drive across town to have my car serviced here.

I absolutely recommend Alexander's if you have a foreign car. They are super helpful and quick to communicate. I have a Mini Cooper S that ended up with a few issues and they let me know in detail step by step the problems and the severity of them. I haven't been to a lot of auto repair shops, but Alexander's customer service and workmanship is amazing.

Out of all the mechanics I ve been to with my car, Alexander s has the best interpersonal skills and the people there are lovely to be around. I brought my 76 TR7 and they were super honest about what they were going to do and what they could do in the future. The prices are super reasonable. I will definitely be coming back again!Thanks again!Simon

Had a great experience at Alexander s! Took my BMW here after frustrations with the dealership and other repair shops. William was great at communicating the repairs needed and the prices attributed to each. The pricing was fair and the honest communication was so refreshing! I've been going to Alexander's since my sister-in-law recommended it when we moved to the cities. They have kept my now elderly car in good repair for over eight years. I haven't ever been disappointed with their service. They tell you about upcoming needs as you come in, I always leave with my car running great.

There are so many good reasons why we are loyal to Alexander's - knowledgeable, skilled, honest and affordable. Here is a great example of how they treat their customers and why we'll always come back: My husband called to schedule a tire rotation ahead of a planned road trip. There was not an opening for us to bring our vehicle in before our trip. Without being prompted, William took the initiative to look up our record and let us know that our last rotation was within a reasonable timeframe for us to make the trip safely and confidant that our car would not suffer ill effects. This extra, (small!) unprompted step really demonstrated their commitment to excellent service and truly caring for their customer's needs.

I have been to Alexander's for repairs and for pre-purchase inspections and they have always been fair and fantastic. Great communication about what's going on. Loaner cars while they work on the vehicle. But it's the customer service that makes it worth going to them. They are intelligent, trustworthy and fair. They will patiently answer your questions and give you reliable information. The best shop I've ever used, foreign or domestic. The only hesitation I have for giving a glowing review is the lines to get an appointment will only grow. I'll still wait. I wouldn't trust my cars with anyone else.

William and Wes at Alexander s always take good care of my car and my wife s car. Recently needed a new battery on Christmas Eve and they squeezed me in for the battery installation even though they were open only for the morning. Alexander s provides awesome service and truly knows how to treat customers right. If you want an honest, trusted automotive service provider that does quality work, look no further than Alexander s.

Let me add another five star review. Eleven and one half months ago, Alexander s replaced a engine coolant temperature sensor that turned out to be faulty, right from the factory. (It was a new part. These things happen.) They replaced it today without charge, as it fell within their twelve month parts warranty. And I didn t have to bring it up. They *offered* to replace it. These folks know what they re doing, stand by their work, do what they promise, and respect their customers. Another five stars.And are some additional stars from an older review ++++++++++++We have used Alexander s since moving into the neighborhood several years ago, and have always been pleased with their service. Courteous attention. First-rate know-how and skill. Timely work. And they know older SAABs! I have come to appreciate, too, that they do not press ahead with something that may be unneeded. I have felt fairly treated on every visit.

Alexander's Imports is the absolute best auto repair shop to bring your car to. I have only trusted them with my cars throughout the years, and I will continue to bring my car here for any issue that comes up. All staff are knowledgeable, professional, quick to answer any of my questions/concerns, friendly, and I completely trust their communication to me regarding what needs to be fixed and/or how my car looked after any given appointment. We have been using Alexander Auto for our car servicing for nearly 20 years. The service provided has always been very professional and of high quality. Moreover, in the rare case that something was not properly fixed the Alexander Auto staff promptly made arrangements to get our car back into the shop and made it right.
