I love Aamco transmission! I trust them, they've always done great honest work on all of the vehicles I've brought throughout the years. They've done 2 transmissions for me, rebuilt my classic car manual transmission for me. Never had an issue after the work was done. Travis and Kevin are always happy, polite, funny and great to talk to. The cost is usually lower than other places I have checked with, they are never more expensive for the same work. I would definitely recommend them to everyone for transmission or any other repairs that are needed.Thank you, Travis and Kevin!!

Absolutely one of the best automotive repair businesses in the state.All told, the combined experience and expertise of Travis- owner, Kevin-shop manager and Tommy-lead technician is in the decades and it shows. They follow through with everything they say they will and only do what s necessary and approved by the customer. They should be the first stop on your journey to automotive repair satisfaction.

Kevin is awesome and a genuine person. He was open and honest about my vehicle and very knowledgeable. I will definitely return to Aamco and refer others to this great establishment.

Horrible Kevin s going to pretend like he s your friend when he s really a manipulator, using his disability to be dishonest. Then he will blame Travis and then Travis blames Kevin, and the problem is never solved. Long story short, I took my car there for a diagnostic, they told me the diagnosis cost 170, I was like ok, from there kevin claimed he knew what the problem was and the basically started the work without my consent. The claim to have fix the problem but nope! I came right back the next day, they charged me 875 to still have the same problems. Then they lied to me several times about what I was being charged for, they 1st said the diagnosis cost would go towards the work then when I went to pick up my car they charged me for the diagnosis plus the work that did not resolve any of my issues. I think Kevin is an undercover racist. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Find a better repair shop with honest reputable service and people. They don t deserve any dollars especially not blk ones. Fr fr

I had a great experience at this Aamco! Kevin is so personable and explained everything very throughly so I understood what work they were doing on my CR-V. I highly recommend this Aamco over the other ones out there, they are very trustworthy and reasonable

Love this place!! We will never bring our vehicles anywhere else. Aamco Transmission treats you like family. This is family founded and second generation run by Travis.We are always welcomed with a smile! They listen to our needs. Vehicle issues are communicated, quoted accurately and completed on time. I thought it was time for an update since my first experience dealing with Aamco was almost five years ago. Clearly, if I'm updating my original post I still continue to use their services.Kevin, the office manager, is still as friendly and helpful. He welcomes everyone with a smile. Always, professional.Travis and Tommy typically work on my vehicle. I can't imagine finding anyone else working on my 2006 Camry LE with 200,000 miles. Obviously, it's not a "looker" but a very safe ride. I count on these guys to keep me as safe as possible on the road.Travis and Tommy are incredibly smart and work hard to give top-notch service Don't get me wrong on occasion I've had some expensive repairs but "it's the cost of driving" an older car. When I put it into perspective I have no car payments, lower car insurance and lower tabs yearly.In my humble opinion, if you are looking for honest, reliable and reasonably priced car repairs bring your vehicle to these guys.Side note, remember that mechanics aren't "Miracle Workers".I just had car repairs yesterday.The original post from over four years ago still holds true!!These guys are terrific! For you folks that used to have your car serviced by Craig's Auto Electric in Robbinsdale I suggest you bring your vehicle to these guys. Just as honest, knowledgeable, trustworthy and efficient that I am used to. Kevin, Travis and Tommy are ready and willing to explain why work is needed. Treat everyone with respect... can you tell I'm a "Happy Camper"? Walt, the owner I'm sure has to be proud of the mechanics he has hired. Obviously, I will be having all my car repairs done here.P. S. These guys are terribly busy! Don't expect any "coupons", specials, fire sales, etc. They don't need gimmicks to bring in business.

I went to this Garage not knowing exactly what to expect but fully aware that I might have to drop huge amounts of money for any work that might need to be done.I basically gave them an open checkbook and told them to give my Subaru a thorough look and just fix anything that might need work.Wow! I got my car back a few hours later, it was purring like a kitten and I could just feel a difference in my ride.The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Before they handed my keys back they explained everything they had looked at and done. Assured me that my car was in good condition and told me to come on back whenever I am due for an oil change. The cost??? Next to nothing! I ve never been to any garage that has cost so little, especially for excellent work and customer care. This will be my permanent place to take my vehicle

My van got repaired, but that could have been done at any auto shop. What I loved was how personable and friendly everyone was (hi Kevin!). I definitely felt like family, I felt taken care of, I felt seen and known. When Kevin called to check in on when I would be picking up my van, he was asking about my son s permit test that he had taken the day before - how many other shops would have paid attention to those details and cared enough to follow up and check in? I have definitely found a home auto shop, that s for sure!Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Really impressed with the service here. Kevin, the office manager, is extremely friendly and the prices are unbeatable. All of the employees we've met are also kind and courteous. I drove 30+ minutes from my home to this shop because of an awesome recommendation I received and I will never take my car anywhere else. These guys are trustworthy and remember who you are when you walk through the door. Really impressive.

These guys are top notch. They are honest & so helpful. Walt the owner is so helpful. Kevin the office manager is so helpful and goes above & beyond. Once I had 3 major issues with my vehicle and he offered to prioritize to make it more affordable. Travis is the best mechanic I have ever encountered. He is great at finding the problem, and he is wonderful at explaining and teaching on a level that is easy for anyone to understand. I highly recommend them!

Aamco diagnosed, communicated, and fixed my truck's issue with excellent timing and attention to detail. Their prices are fair and the work was excellent. I will absolutely be going back for any future work and recommend everybody bring their business to this shop. Their shop manager Kevin is amazing to work with. He's worth another 5 star rating just by himself!

Quick service, supplying great parts and warranty coverage. The shop workload always looks to be heavy, but they don't treat the customers as just a number. They take the time to understand the problem and provide the best repair solution. I have used this shop for several repairs that I did not want to take on myself, and I have always felt that they approach repairs with my best interests in mind. Just had an emergency repair, and while my vehicle was there, they asked if I wanted to fix another issue I was aware of but had not planned on addressing. When I decided to do that as well, they immediately began the added work, and still got everything completed by the time they had promised. Will continue to go back, this shop and the entire team have gained my trust.

I've had a lot of car trouble and since the first time I brought my car here I knew I'd never be going somewhere else. Service that is above and beyond! And Kevin has made this an enjoyable experience, so grateful! HIGHLY recommend these guys, honest and will work with you not against you.

decent place. My experience was okay. Front desk staff is nice. can't make an appointment you just have to bring your vehicle in, but they get to it "as soon as possible".

Don't know if my first review posted so Iapologize if this is redundant.Couldn't recommend these guys moreenthusiastically.They're professional, honest and price competitive compared to any other autorepair service I've ever used.Customer service second to none as theowner even drove my car HOME for meafter completing my last repair.Kudos to Travis, Kevin, and the rest of theteam @ Crystal Aamco !Service: Electrical repair

I decided to give this place a shot because of the good reviews and these guys did not disappoint! Travis and Kevin are awesome! They are friendly, funny, honest and the pricing is reasonable as well, what more would want? It is so hard to find a car shop that you trust because you are worried they will tell you that you have all these problems, when you don't. You don't need to worry about these guys lying to you. You will only pay for what you need done. Travis and Kevin definitely gained my trust. As long as they are still in business, they will have my business!

Great experience. My car needed transmission repair and a new alternator. The work was completed quickly and they provided excellent communication throughout the process. I had another vehicle at home so they arranged to drop me off and pick me back up when my car was ready. Amazing! Not many car repair shops would provide that service. They really know what they are doing and the shop is very clean. It was a great experience with no hassles. They made extra effort to be friendly and helpful. Every business should operate this way. They have it figured out. I trust their work. It is excellent when you find a business that knows how to do everything right. This is my new auto repair shop!

My car is still heating up && they told me that it was the radiator && thermostat && I payed 800 & some && it is still happening. I told Kevin about it && he had the mechanics changed my water pump & timing chain without cost even though my warranty had expired from them a year ago and even though my car is still heating up still . I appreciate them changing my timing chain & water pump but I would of love if my diagnostic since the start would of been better & accurate & accurate && it s not fair they took my money for nothing , it s like if nothing gone done on my car. Please go somewhere else I do not recommend it here because they take your money & their diagnosis is not accurate at all & then tell you it s something else! I will never go back & I will be sure to tell all my coworkers & family & friends that come here to this shop to not go anymore because they re dishonest & don t have any sympathy for youService: Auto engine diagnostic
