Karl and Amy are honest and hard workers. Always treat you like friends. If your car doesn't need it, they'll tell you. If they tell you it needs it, it does. The Affordable Auto name is accurate.

My Honda Odyssey had been driving rough and shaking for several months. I've taken it in to two other mechanics and both have told me, "It doesn't shake when we drive it. There's nothing wrong with your vehicle." I drive it every day. I know it's not right.My husband took our van to Affordable Auto. They listened to his concerns, suggested a hypothesis and had it fixed by the following afternoon.We felt heard and valued as customers. We had an appointment and felt like the work was done in a timely manner, which made us feel like our time was valued. We were without our main family vehicle for less than 24 hours. We could not be more appreciative of the service we received. They gave us peace of mind and were friendly and helpful the whole time.

Highly recommended! With businesses and even individuals today, it's hard to come by characteristics of honesty, concern for others, and integrity. The woman servicing calls and the mechanic that I talked with demonstrated all three of these characteristics. Considering that I was not a regular customer, and they didn't even know me, made these interactions even more noteworthy.Their schedule was completely full, yet they made time to squeeze in a diagnosis of my car problem in a very timely manner. The mechanic who called me was good at passing along bad news, and very thorough and informative on advising me how to deal with it. The woman answering my calls was an excellent listener, accommodating and patient.Now I totally understand why a girlfriend of mine has, for many years, trusted and been complimentary of this shop. When you're not knowledgeable about cars, auto repair shops can be a scary and expensive nightmare! Thanks so much for taking pride in your business and reputation, and for treating your customers with true respect.

I called to see if I could get my car in to get the can filter replaced. She said its something that I could do on my own it was easy to do. I went to YouTube and searched for how to do it and bought the filter and did it myself. She saved me money by telling me about it! This place is highly rated and I would take my car here anytime I needed to get work done! Pleased with the experience over the phone!

For a new customer, the most difficult action is calling or coming through the door of a shop for the very first time. I was welcomed and listen to by Amy. I felt I could trust this shop. Although they were not able to resolve my vehicle issue. I was not charged. I appreciated the honesty and would recommend this shop to all merrifield local people with vehicle repair needs.

Came in with a check engine and rough idling vehicle. Parts and install within 24 hours, and in a Friday! Definitely recommend and would go back.

Carl at affordable Auto checked out a vehicle that I was going to buy it actually was the second one that he checked out the first one he said no to keep looking.This one he checked out and thought it would be pretty good.He is a terrific mechanic him and his wife Amy are very friendly.I would totally give them a 10 out of 10 plus.

5 stars, great service, great knowledge and great prices. Carl got my Suv fixed up properly and despite a big surprise issue that came to light during the scheduled repair they managed to keep me close to the high end of my original quote. A huge thanks to Amy, with her dudiligence she managed to find the part for $440.00 less. You both rock!!!

Went in to get a belt changed. Turns out the belt didn't need to be changed, something Just needed to be tightened. He tightened the piece that was loose and sent me on my way in less than five minutes and did not Charge me anything. I finally found an honest mechanic. I

Very impressed! The owners were not trying to over sell anything. Fair pricing, fast service but my favorite was their personality and light atmosphere. Very happy I decided to go to Affordable Auto.

They initially told me they were out 3 weeks for repairs. After looking at my car they told me it was urgent and not to drive it. They fit me in the next day and the cost was minimal. I will refer everyone to this repair shop. They were exceptionalService: BrakesService: Brakes

Amazing and very knowledgeable about vehicles. They don't rip you off and tell you things are broken that aren't, they're very honest and reasonable in pricing. I wouldn't let anyone else touch our family's vehicles!! They have been such a blessing and wonderful people to work with!!!

Called him when I was lost and my car was acting funny. He was really kind to take his time and help me figure out the problem and for free. Didnt push me to buy anything I didnt need or sell me anything unnecessary. Really kind guy, I appreciate it after my birthday road trip was starting to fall apart.
