Car was towed from the Edgewater in Duluth while I was away getting parts to fix it. I was never warned that they wanted it towed. I was only in their parking lot for a couple hours when they towed it. They were charging over 600 dollars for the tow. I wasn't able to pay it but after 2 weeks I made some money and offered them 1000 dollars and to sign the title over to them just for the items in the car because the things inside had sentimental value and material value. Mrs Macs towing basically told me to f myself. I ended up not having enough money and forfeited the car along with all the stuff inside of it. I lost thousands of dollars and precious items from them. In my eyes these guys are thieves.

My wife had an accident Sunday evening. The Minnesota State Patrol called these guys. The guy that showed up never told my wife anything about cost, never asked for insurance info. They changed over $400 for towing and $45 impound charge, daily. My daughter contacted the tow company to retrieve our belongings from our car, they said she needed an appointment for that. He said he had NO appointments until Thursday without informing us of charges and consequently we accrued $45 a day. We arranged said appointment and was told the amount needed to release our car was $763, in cash. My wife and daughter, although shocked at the amount, took the cash to the location. When they arrived and went to pay the total became almost $765 with no reason why. We signed the title to the towing company, how ever, they did not return the bottom portion of the title. This individual never signed anything with his name and, in my opinion, was disrespectful to my wife and daughter. When we explained to him that we didn't have comprehensive, he stated "we all make choices" like it was our fault their rates were so high. We are awaiting a response from the Attorney Generals office and I will update this accordingly.

They charged 500 dollars to tow a car 10 miles to their lot. Which was their house. When questioned about price, they got hostile and said they would tow car to the end of their driveway and charge another 100 dollars. The most unprofessional service I have ever seen. Very rude and I will be calling the better business bureau. If I could rate negative I would.Service: Car towing

The tow truck driver was very friendly and he got the job done quickly and efficiently in about 45 minutes, no problems with the service at all. However, I was charged $575 for barely any effort. They charge $250 an hour, which is very overpriced in the first place, and 2 hours minimum for off road recovery. So I was charged $575 out of my college savings for getting towed out of a ditch 2 miles away from their facilities. Not cool.

A quality business is a sea of shady amateurs. We ve used them for multiple vehicle tows and even transporting 70 sheets of drywall to our home build site. Always on time and on target, and they possess a wealth of common sense which we all know is becoming less come every day. I have used Mrs. Mac's Towing on many occassions for various reasons (car breakdown, car towing either to home or a garage, moving 50 sheets of drywall to a building site, and help with junking a vehicle) and have received professional and prompt service. You can twist it how you want but we were told to leave when I questioned the price. When I said I would leave a bad review about fees, he said get the d off my property and now it's another 100 to drop car on hwy. 50 yards from where car was. Your driver tried to take title for car in his house after telling us to leave. She was only trying to get her title back. For the record when she called to say she was coming to get car, the guy said "oh your coming to get your stuff out of my car?" Assuming maybe she couldnt afford your asinine fees. You are crooks. How many vehicles do you keep because people cant afford your fees? So, like I said, spin the story how you want. The whole ordeal was sketchy from the start.

I have known zac personally for years and has always been a professional. He has worked with our local fire department on hundreds of calls and always does a stellar job from start to finish. He has also towed many of my personal vehicle and is always great to work with. I never recommend anyone else to handle any job. He always does great work . Hes always training his drivers to be top notch and knowledgeable in there profession.

Was tailgated and cut off in hwy 2 in the dark and when the road was covered in snow by a Chevy HHR/minivan looking thing with their logo on it. I'm not going to call a towing company with dangerous driving habits.

Very professional, and nice. I wasn't the least bit concerned leaving my vehicle in their hands to tow to safety, their equipment looked top of the line. I was also treated with respect and in a very friendly manner by the tow truck operator. In a situation that is often stressful at least this part was not. Would definitely recommend.

Came her to write a terrible review because they charged my friend an arm and a leg to pull her no more than a few feet out of the median. Then I come across some other bad reviews and see that this company is literally arguing with and insulting their customers.

I went into the ditch due to some black ice. I called Mrs. Mac s and they showed up very quickly. They were professional and safe. It was on a very busy and dangerous highway but got me out in a timely and efficient manner. Safely seemed to be on the highest priority. God bless this business, and thank you so much!
