Bought a truck from them and started having transmission issues within 3 1/2 months. Great dealership and great service don t get me wrong! Wish woulda been same with my truck. Update! They called me and we figured out a resolution and they care very much for there customers I m so glad I chose Lockwood.

I don't know what happened? This used to be a good place to go to for servicing a vehicle but not anymore! They do not tell you when there is a problem with your vehicle and heaven help you if you have any major work done there. I've had two battery failures on their so called inspection yet no one says a word!! Then they put a differential and axel shafts in my challenger and didn't put in a very important bolt, once again no one said anything!! Needless to say the differential fell out and was only held up by the cars exhaust. That could have killed someone and they only person to give a dang was the service manager. Take your vehicles somewhere else!

Went in after hitting a deer, not in the best situation to be in; figuring this was going to be a long shot; but the vehicle had to be replaced as soon as possible or I would need to find closer employment. First, started with putting in a form on the website on a vehicle I figured was a very big long shot of obtaining, not the most expensive but it was brand new. Second, Terrell (Salesman) and Mark (Finance) did an awesome job to ensure we were able to get into the vehicle as promptly as they could. (Some slowness with finance company, not Lockwood Motors fault) Today (Aug 4th, 2023) I was able to drive away in a dream car, brand new, and absolutely love it. I sincerely appreciate the hard work that these two upstanding guys did, as where another dealership turned their nose up at us right away and left us demoralized. Highly recommend speaking with Terrell if looking to buy from here and looking for a car salesman that cares and loves his job, and is willing to do everything he can to ensure you leave happy!

All these reviews are a Scam. Service department is the worse in all of Marshall MN. Took my Rav4 to this scammers, the first time i paid them over $2300, Issue lasted to 2 months with more problems they added to my Rav4. Took it back to them, cost me almost $600, it lasted for two weeks, this time my lift gate was completed destroyed, when i told them about it, they told me it wasn't their fault, but they can get it fit for $2400. took my rav4 to Slayton MN, the initial issue was fix for less than $150, it runs great. just my lift gate these scammers mess it up for me. Do your research before heading your keys to this scammers, or STAY AWAY.

We bought a vehicle from Lockwood Motors in June. Our salesman Kent did a great job! There was a small issue we had with the car and they took care of it. As you know, reviews are extremely subjective. The reason I only selected 3 stars is related to this dynamic.I had asked for two things to be done, but I should have been preemptively informed that the 2nd item on the list had not been done and why. I had to ask about it. And second, I was unintentionally overcharged for oil, (6 quarts instead of 5, having brought one of my own in), which was promptly and happily corrected.Otherwise, the service techs and support staff were characteristically polite, cheerful, and relatable. I know that each visit is and will be different, based on our expectations, and I hope to award 5 stars the next time around.

Long story short. My truck had check engine light on and also service DEF system. The guys squeezed in my truck twice in 2 days to make sure I was taken care of. Also to make sure my truck didnt go into "limp mode" as I have a 25 mile commute each way daily. I am very glad that there are still places out there that will still take care of people in a timely manner to make sure we can keep moving forward!

Was told you called my warranty company several times and you didn t till that night. I called and asked them what time you called. I asked you to get a cheaper part and you never ordered it and I checked. You told me the GM bulletin said one thing and it actually doesn t. You had my car for 7 days and did nothing to it. I took my car to a different mechanic and it will be fixed in one day. Btw the other mechanic is fixing it for $800 cheaper. I suggest you tell your customers the truth!

My daughter, fianc�, and I went to pick up a vehicle and arrived early to purchase it. They let my daughter sit in the car and she was so excited. When we were finalizing the paperwork they told us they were sorry but they had sold that vehicle one hour ago with someone placing a deposit (not full payment) down that same day. The owner said his family has been in the business over 50 years and that this never happens but it did happen to us. They weren t even willing to do anything to make it right (sell us something similar on their lot or find her another car). Lockwood dealership wasted our day and they lost a young couples business for life!

Terrible communication, rude staff, and blatant lying. Don t believe the comments that they post on the other 1 star reviews that they will make it right . When given the opportunity to make it right in person the manager rudely pointed and yelled at one of my family members and then walked out of the room. Not only that, when my family member left a bad review about the horrifying experience they discounted her comment by saying he was asked multiple times to put a deposit down to secure the car. When in fact they denied my request to reserve the car and then let someone else to it a few days later.

I have bought many vehicles from Lockwood Motors. I will continue to buy all of my vehicles from them. They have the best team to work with. I couldn t ask for better car buying experiences. They have a homey atmosphere and are extremely personable. Communication about the process is on point. I would highly recommend any sales staff for a great experience.

Had a front axle go out , called in the morning .... dropped truck off at 1:45 and the truck was done by 3 ! Now thats what I call great service. Nick provided great customer service through the process

suv had 3000 more miles on it than website showed!! i thought that was dishonest, why cant the websites be updated .we drove from SiouxFalls thinking suv had 80000 miles on ithought i should have gotten a better deal for that discrepancy!!then sales manager didnt even want to put a full tank of gas in it, like $30 will bank rupt them!! but the sales rep did fill it.lockwood says they dont dicker anymore, thats ridiculous! Would nt recomend lockwood.i liked the car or would have left it there and needed a vehicle soon.

very professional service staff and my vehicle was serviced in an extremely efficient manner. Got me in right at 10 am as scheduled and I was done in about a half an hour. Every time I bring my vehicle there for service it is the same. No surprises and everyone very nice and courteous and professional. Great Job Lockwood Motors!

Sales staff are very nice and personable. Great to work with and are really trying to help you get the car your looking for without selling you a hundred different extras. I was in and out, papers signed, and keys in hand in under an hour. Will definitely return for my next car purchase.
