Brought my Cub Cadet LTX 1045 lawn mower in for repairs to TRI-K Sports in Maple Plain, MN because the belt keeps slipping off. This flaw can be found on YouTube showing the repair. The person who wrote up the paperwork wrote this on the work order. Three weeks past with no calls. I called to check on the status. Was told they called and left a voicemail on the 27th. Verified with phone records and no calls or voicemails on any day was received. I was told it was finished on the call. Arrived to pick up the lawnmower and was told around $400 for repairs. I was told they replaced a bent spindle, bent pulley & put on new blades. I asked why I wasn't called to authorize the $400 repair on a $1700 machine. The counter associate called the owner to meet me by the lawnmower as he was the one responsible for work. I asked to see the parts he pulled off the machine and the parts were not the parts from my lawn mower. They were very rusted and the star that holds the blade on was stripped. Mine were not stripped as I just inspected them and replaced one that was stripped. He showed me two extremely rusted blades. The blades on my lawn mower were replace by me two month before. I inspected the parts before I dropped off the machine. I told the owner I though the "used" parts he "replaced" and charged me for were my original parts. He began yelling and got defensive and tried to deflect from my direct questioning. I asked him as owner what his policy was for gaining authorization prior to repairs. He kept looking under the lawn mower and offered no answer. He took the parts that supposedly came off my lawn mower and threw them on the back of the ATV. I took a picture incase it was needed later. He started walking back into the store front so I followed. He told the desk clerk to let me load it up and no charge. He left the building with the paperwork so I couldn't get a copy. It showed he charged me for "used" parts.I would have been happy to pay $100-$150 for the belt slipping repairs as shown on videos on the internet.

Audrey was fabulous. I called looking for a mower and she helped educate me on the options. They didn't have the particular one I wanted put together but they did that the next day and gave me a call to let me know they had one ready to take a look at. I drove out there and looked at it. Decided to buy it. She was very heloful.I would highly recommend Tri-K sports! Great service and very friendly staff. Will definitely give them my business again!

I have had 3 major repairs successfully completed by Tri K. The staff is very knowledgeable. The work done was very professional and they only did what was necessary. The Owner is very friendly and hands on. Very fair pricing for the quality service received.

I have bought three lawn mowers from them over the years and Tim has been terrific to work with. He has great insights and is very candid about his products. It obvious he wants me to like what I buy long after I have bought it. I stop by a lot and he always finds time to stroll around and visit and discuss the possibilities. They have delivered my equipment and even given me a loaner when I needed a repair. He is the best and I don't know why I would go anywhere else.

Don't shop here. If you have an issue with a product they sell the owner will condescendingly tell you how it's not his problem. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Mike in the service department has been very helpful with me working with me to fix my Cub Cadet Snowblower. They got it fixed but then turns out there is the issue that prevent me from picking it up due to safety reasons. They helped me get the manufacture to agree to take it back, and the manufacturer will be providing me a new one.If you need Cub Cadet service on a warranty, definitely come here

This is a great place for your ATV, snowmobile and lawnmower needs. From parts and service to new/used machines. They also have great prices on dirt. A locally owned company that really cares for their customers and the surrounding community.

I called Tri-K to get a price to install a plow on my side by side and to find out when I could get it installed. They told me they were a couple days out and it would be $1700.00 for what I wanted installed. They put me on the schedule and told me to bring it in Tuesday night or Wednesday mourning and they should be able to get it installed. I had not heard anything back from them Friday so I called.When I got through to the service person he let me know nothing had been done yet but they could start today and it would be $2700.00 to install. I asked why the big jump in price and he told me he had quoted me the "cheap one". Then he told me hadn't really looked it up but was just giving me approximate quote. The person was very rude and didn't seem to care that he had not only not done any work, called to say it would be more and added 50% to the price quoted. Unless I wanted the "cheap one."Make sure to get everything in writing, they will screw you!

I enjoy going to tri k sports!! I could look around and drool for hours . I bought a brand new mower about 4 years ago a walker mower. They are the only ones that I would trust to fix anything I can't do . The sales guy is great and helpful all the employees are very helpful as well. I'm looking to buy another walker mower as soon as I get a divorce. Lol

GLASS AND DIRT!I had a number of yards of pulverized black dirt delivery to my home. As I spread the dirt, I notice piece after piece after piece of jagged chunks of glass. I happened to find at least a dozen of these pieces of glass littered throughout the dirt. One can be sure that there were many, many more pieces that I was unable to find that are now distributed throughout my lawn.I called and was told in no uncertain terms that I was a liar.EXTREMELY disappointed!!!I have young children that are now supposed to play in the yard littered with random chunks of glass?I ordered black dirt, not black dirt and chunks of glass!Take your money elsewhere!

Great place for all your sport equipment! On top of that, they have bulk mulch, gravel, sand, river rock, etc. at 1/3 the price of a place in Long Lake that sells Lansdale materials! Only a couple miles difference, and a third the cost and hassle!Thanks Kent!

Tri K just saved my weekend! Again! For like the 5th time this winter. My sled had broken exhaust valves, and they were backordered from polaris for 2-3 weeks. I thought my season was done even though the weather forecasters were predicting 12-24' for this weekend. Mike calls me Friday morning and asks "Are you really planning on riding this weekend?" I replied if I had my sled, my son and I would ride one more time. Mike said we will make it happen for you. He magically produced my parts(he took them off a brand new sled on the show floor). Amazing! Thanks Again Tri k, without your great, no I mean STELLAR customer service, I would not have been able to ride 39 days and 4300 miles so far this season.

Top notch service people . Went out of their way to help me fix my machine on the spot so I could take it with me out of town . I Would highly recommend them over any other service department in this area . Will be coming to them when I want to buy my side-by-side next year thanks again for all your help today guys

There is NO reason to see these clowns in Maple Plain. Extremely rude staff who refused to do work on our Cub Cadet despite being an "official service dealer." Reason? It was the wrong time of year. (Don't most people want their lawn tractors ready to go in the spring - when Tri K says they work on them?) After laughing at me and saying "good luck trying to find someone who will change mower blades in the winter" as I walked away - I went to Jerry's in Edina who immediately said of course - and took the job.

Brought in a Polaris Sportsman which was electrically dead. I was pretty sure what was wrong, but let them figure it out. They properly diagnosed and fixed it. Very happy with service dept.

Ordered black dirt. On the day of delivery they delivered our order to the incorrect location. After multiple calls to get this neighbor's driveway clear of unordered dirt, they said they couldn't deliver the dirt we ordered for at least two more weeks.
