I always go to batteries plus here in Maple Grove as I have paid for lifetime battery replacement. The last two times I've gone in to get 2 different watch batteries installed the young man working can't get the back covers to my watches back on. He doesn't offer a solution, just hands the watches over with the cover off and says...sorry I can't get the back covers back on. Umm... What, now what am I going to do? Not acceptable, I hope someone will reach out and offer a solution because I can't wear my watches now.

I called Battery Plus in Maple Grove and spoke with Anthony to get a price quote on a new battery while I was dropping my car off at Midas in Maple Grove who was closed at the time. Anthony who was extremely polite and provided me with all the information. I immediately drove my car to Battery Plus and when I arrived Anthony had my battery at the counter waiting for me to purchase. He installed it right away. I would highly recommend BP. Great job Anthony!! Keep up the good work

This place was an awful experience on 11/11/23. I ordered three deep cycle batteries online for pick up. Shortly after I get a notification my order was ready. I show up at the store and the gentleman try s to give me someone else s order (power tool battery) I said no I had deep cycle batteries. Never checked my ID as they are supposed to for an online order. Then finds a single deep cycle with a print out and says here you go. I said I have 3, he said oh didn t see that on the order. Next he finds out he only has two and can t fulfill my order, this is after I carry the two out to my truck and carry my three in to the store to get my core deposit back. He calls the Brooklyn Park store and then tells me go there and they will have the third. Super inconvenient and frustrating but whatever. I say well can you give me the core deposit back for these three that I carried in. He fumbles around for a good 15 minutes and says nope, can t do that you can t get the core deposit back. So I am basically out about $100 and he seems to not care at all or make any other effort to do anything about it, just nope. So I saw I am not just paying the core fee without it getting refunded, that s not how buying batteries works. So after an hour of being in the store, realizing I can t get a third battery without going across town, and now saying I will just have to live with loosing the $100s in core deposits I tell him just cancel the order, turns out he doesn t know how after another 30 minutes of messing around and calling the other store. This is after I carry my three batteries into back to my truck and their two back into the store (good thing the online order asks for your vehicle type and color so you get curbside service lugged 6batteries in and out of the store, the 6th one was because he gave me a wrong one at first (AGM) that I carried out then he made me bring it back in because it was his mistake). So in the end he says I have to come back Monday during 9-5 to get my money back and they will refund it. I said but I have no batteries, what if they say where are the items I am returning and refuse to refund me. The response is, no it will be okay, I ll leave a note, not real reassuring since you didn t help me with the batteries, couldn t figure out you didn t have enough to fulfill my order and can t figure out how to do a core deposit refund at a battery store. So I ask can I take the two and go get the third so I at least have some collateral for returning these. Nope, you cancelled the order and can t have them. So I ask will the manager be in sometime other than 9-5 because I have a job and am not taking vacation time because you don t staff your store with a manager on a Saturday when most people shop. No, you have to come during those hours. So basically I am out $600 unless I take a vacation day come in and hope, with zero evidence that they will have relayed this disaster to a manger to get my money back. What an absolute joke, waste of time, and awful experience. On top of that not even a sorry, this was my fault for not checking we had three nothing, as if this is my fault their business is run poorly. Never again will I return to this store or any other batteries plus. All in all, I planned to go fishing Sunday, unless I feel like spending another $600 elsewhere that won t happen. Great weekend off!

When I arrived to get my battery I was suddenly told there was an installation charge, even though Anthony and the website say free. Then the guy who was to put it in lied to me and said it could not be done, that the battery was seized in there and that a mechanic would need to cut it out. I refunded the battery and purchased a different one, in which my son in law installed in 15 minutes. Not good batteries plus, not good at all ..,

The associate changing my watch battery cracked the mother of pearl watch face and didn t say anything about it. Maybe he didn t see it but it s a very obvious crack. Not sure what to do know but it s not exactly something that can be repaired.

Great customer service, outstanding! Rehi (hopefully spelled that correctly) was so great to work with, sincere and polite and made me feel that I was the only customer (even though I wasn't). All round a great experience, I can't say enough. Purchased a new battery online, chose a time for installation--which was started on time and completed efficiently and quickly. Also replaced the battery in my keyfob.

Issue with a car battery on a cold winter day. Called the place and was guided through the process. The man who helped me was doing 5 things at once. Answering phones helping customers and installing battery s. All in an orderly fashion. It was unreal service and I highly recommend this place. Tony Wilson did a heck of a job for me and many other customers there.

Car battery replacement was super fast and convenient, and had the best price when I compared online. Looked up required battery online, ordered and paid for it, scheduled free installation appointment. Took only 10 minutes for the tech to install it. Thanks!

I've been burned twice at this store. My fault for going back I guess. First time I brought my wife's phone in to have the screen replaced. They did replace it, but the sound quality post repair made the phone unusable. The owner was nice enough to give me $50 bucks back though. This time I went in to have a key fob made.First time I went in I explained I already had the replacement fob, just needed it programmed and cut. Cost is $45. They explained they had to get a "skim code", and that would take a day or two. 3 days later I called them to see if they had it. They didn't, but got it shortly after.I went in 2 days after that (30 minutes drive each way) Guy says it's going to be $70 because I didn't buy the fob from them. I've been down this road before. They don't even know how much it costs, they're never going to get it right.I called an automotive locksmith after, he met me in a home depot parking lot where I was shopping, programmed the fob and cut the key in under 10 minutes. $70. Money will spent.Stay away from this store unless you literally need a battery or bulb.

Great experience. Purchased a battery and received free installation for way cheaper than what others quoted. They plugged in a device so that I didn t lose all of my programmed radio stations. Another employee replaced the battery on my car door key fob why the other one changed my battery. When I asked about their I-Phone repair services due to my phone being difficult to hook up to a charger the employee asked to look at my phone. He took it in back and was able to clear a bunch of lint that had apparently accumulated in the charging port and the phone worked perfectly again. Best of all he said there was no charge and was happy he could help. I was ready to buy a new phone so he actually saved me a lot of money. I would highly recommend Batteries Plus Bulbs to everyone. I really couldn t be happier with the service I received today.

I recently went to the maple grove batteries plus bulbs to look at purchasing new batteries for my golf cart. I was helped by a guy named Brian. I was very impressed how helpful and knowledgeable he was. Also very professional. It was refreshing to have an experience like I did where the staff know anything and everything about the products they're selling. Was very happy and will be a repeat customer!!

Great experience. Was looking for six volt batteries for toy vehicles. The employee was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me with the wiring harnesses that were still on the batteries. Price for three was much cheaper than I was expecting. Definitely will return.

Brian, the store manager was very helpful and EXTREMELY knowledgeable when it came to my golf cart batteries. He even helped me install the batteries when the arrived after we ordered them. His customer service and knowledge about batteries are second to none.

Went into batteries plus bulbs on Fri 9-28. I needed batteries changed on 4 watches. Was helped by Brian. He was so helpful courteous and professional. I was in and out on very short time. Went back today to have 1 more watch battery replaced. I would highly recommend this Maple Grove store for an all around good experience.

Great place to have your phone repaired. For my phone they had factory replacement parts and the tech was certified by the phone manufacturer and it was at a good price compared to what parts would have cost off discount websites.

Poor experience all around. Had my iPhone screen replaced after it was cracked. The phone then had several symptoms and never worked right. The phone was very slow, unresponsive and quirky - flashed randomly, froze a lot and shut down randomly. They replaced the screen 3 times and still same symptoms. They finally said they would not replace it again and honestly were pretty condescending the whole time as if it was my fault or there were other issues.Finally I had enough and wasted enough time and took the phone to an apple store to check it out. They decided to try and replace the screen before they replaced the entire phone, and low and behold the phone works perfectly now that apple replaced the screen. There is obviously something going on at this store as it relates to these screen replacements as there are other negative reviews similar to mine.All in all I wasted a lot of time, received poor customer service and never got the issues resolved at batteries plus in maple grove. I would avoid this store and save your money and headaches.

Ordered online- picked up in store. Very smooth and easy process as we replaced a car battery on a cold cold night. Stopped by the next morning to exchange the core and just as smooth. Friendly staff and super quick.

I got my phone screen replaced here in October 2020. When I got the phone back the screen was elevated more than it was before and the employee said it will compress down over time, it s because the original adhesive doesn t come all the way off . After I left I noticed scratches on my phone body, the screen was not fully secure (moved when pushing down in certain spots) and never compressed down to normal thickness. I lightly dropped my phone last week on carpet last week and the entire screen assembly popped off. That is when I realized they even forgot the screws to secure the screen in place. This place s screen replacement service is a scam! Since then I bought a replacement screen and installed it myself in an hour for 25% of the price they charge here. I did have to take screws from an old phone since this place lost mine though

4.5 stars. These guys were great, put my battery in my Yukon, which is kind of a pain to do, and had the knowledge/courtesy to hook up a temporary power supply so I wouldn't lose all of my settings when they disconnected the battery. The only reason it isn't a five star is that I found the battery online was about $80.00 cheaper after I got home, and no one told me in the store, so had to buy another battery online and "return" the one bought instore which was a lot of unnecessary running back and forth.

I just change my sad battery for my car right out front of the store. Great customer service tools on hand, A test of my bad battery first to make sure he was no good. It is priceless to change the battery when you want then when you need to. The price difference was nine dollars from Walmart. The service and the tools made it well worth the stop.Thank you guysPS.
