I have given Mankato Location so many chance's, and it just seems nothing changes. I think every repair order in the last three years has had to come back for rework on something, and their idea is we ll just bring it back and we will correct it. Kind of a big deal when it takes several hours to shuffle it back and forth along with getting a ride to and from for the day it takes to make a correction. I ve dealt with physical damage to equipment, and they just shrug their shoulders. I even had a DOT Inspection done with my last set of repairs, and drove it home, and of course had to bring it back due to a tech not reconnecting an HVAC linkage and they informed me that my one axle/ both sides brake linings where below spec. In less then 300 miles somehow linings went front passing to razor thin according to inspector. Obviously the last tech didn t even physically look at them. This shops quality of work is dangerous to the equipment, operator, and others on the road, everything has to be scrutinized by me upon completion at this point. It s unfortunate when you have no choice but to go to Freightliner for proprietary work to be completed.The Parts Department isn t much better. Useless without a Serial Number, even though a lot of the parts are crossed between model lines. I ve ordered by part number in the past, and they have still substituted the wrong parts.Oh and they asked me to falsely fill out my ST3 form as anything other than AG because the folks in Nebraska Corporate office would decline otherwise. We all know what that spells if one falsifies a tax document.

I heard freightliner got a big contract with walmart. Going to rebrand its trucks as garbageliner and put them next to the glad bags. Probably just a rumor. Prepare for DEF related breakdowns. Lots of down time because of poor quality emission equipment.

SO i bought my first truck here 3 weeks ago and i dealt with Jake, and after 4 other Dealerships tried to screw me this dealer popped onto my radar with a 2014 Freightliner 10 speed with overhauled APU with 365k on it for a VERY VERY good price, and i would know as i searched hard for months for my first truck and kept getting knocked down. This dealership was so accommodating with my over the wall needs, my Nitpicking, my HIGH anxiety. This dealership went above and beyond to make me feel at home. (Seriously they did, its to much to list) I Give them 4 stars because the buying experience wasn't as smooth as we all it would be, i ended up spending 5.5 days in a hotel room because they missed some crucial stuff over the time they had the truck that needed to be done. which caused the delay. But they made up for it by paying for the hotel room and even lunch a couple days. THIS dealership cares about you and the quality of the truck you get there. I waited 3 weeks to post this because i really wanted to see if this dealership only cared till you signed the dotted line and left the lot and if the truck was trash and i got screwed, Well i was wrong to even think any of that. My truck has had no real big issues in that time, but a few small annoying things DID happened. but those things where either paid for during the deal or was border line right next to that part that was tinkered with would be the best word for it i guess haha ... but they told me to bring it in and they are covering at least 80 percent of the repairs. yes its taken two days BUT they CARE about their customers! Which as a brand new owner op that is a REALLY big deal! I will be coming back here to get a better truck when the time is right. With a awesome foreman like Troy in the shop to Missy in the Finance/paperwork department, even the guys inside the shop are awesome and professional, they all treat you like family. they want you to succeed. But after reading this, there are always limits and of course they are still a business. Don't expect gold to fall apon you when you buy a truck here, But if you want a place that sells solid trucks and a good dealership to stand behind what they are selling. call this place. talk to them. i have a good feeling you wont be disappointed.

Let me just take a minute to say how amazing this company has been to work with. We bought a truck from them and they have been nothing but amazing to work with. They are easy to get in contact with. They are always able to answer any and all questions you have. They got our truck up here and ready to go within a week which was amazing! Would recommend this company to anyone!!!

Great Dealership. Recommend stopping in if you want full service from Top to bottom! Missy in Finance was awesome when I purchased my 2017 Cascadia! Had some Title issues recently, and Missy helped me out 2 years later after my purchase!

Purchased a truck, couldn't even drive off lot, lights came on the dash. Took 3 weeks to get, broke down 2 weeks later and 10,000 dollars later. Took in for an alignment, was told axle is bent. APU worked when I looked at it but not when I got it. Coolant leaked everywhere. Said they fixed it, had plastic fitting that exploded a week on road, leaking coolant reservoir, found damage on bottom of radiator. Gages aren't correct

I was having problems with my def and I had a load of cattle on. Your nite foreman took excellent care of the problem and got me back on the road. I still made my delivery on time in SD. I would recommend your shop if anybody asks.

I came in with an engine antifreeze leak on a very cold night. They went out of their way to get it fixed and get me back on the road so that I could sleep in my warm truck that same night. I will recommend Truck Center Companies to my fellow truckers. Bret, the service advisor, & the night crew were very professional - the shop is lucky to have such great employees! I was looking for parts while being stuck in a repair shop to have an exhaust bellow replaced. A call to Abraham Flores from the Truck Center Companies-Mankato led me to the correct part numbers and where I can find them. They decided to just fix my broken truck window on the passenger door which I did not want fixed and then charge me for it anyways who does that!!? Why did u need the passenger window down to fix under the hood truck went in because it would not go over 45 mph I was fine with the window being sketchy now we are stuck paying for it how rude and for all they know I couldn't afford the window too hard enough to come up with the money to pay them for the engine problem just sayingService: Auto engine diagnostic

Bought a used Cascadia from them. Chris and Missy were great to work with! After I got the truck home and hooked it to my trailer noticed the clutch was slipping and ended up it was wore out. I contacted Chris and he had me bring it back. They worked with me on splitting the cost of the replacement and works as it should now. Only disappointment was all the oil/grease they left all over the door and interior. So far we really like the truck!

I contacted Chris Hart and told him what I was looking for and out of the blue a few weeks later he contacted me about a truck. Between him and Missy in the finance department the purchase process was easy and simple. They have definitely earned a return customer in me.

Had possible turbo problems. Called ahead and parts man says I can have one on the. Get there on Monday. The day time service manager was loud .Shouting.. and had no time for my business. So I brought it somewhere else. Don't stop if you have issue with your truck. It will be wasting your time. There are so many others that at least can talk to you like they want your business.

My name is M.Bare,was referred to this dealership by a friend who financed his first Truck here and he told me to reach out to Sam Schmitz and as a first time buyer Schmitz walked me through the process very smooth and knowledgeable guy he spoke with the Bank that i was financing through and made sure i got the best deal and it went very well i walked out of the place with the Truck of my choice so excited about it. Me and my Brother Purchased a 2018 Freighter there. Chris was my sales man and missy finance. Both we re friendly and nice people. However once we left with dealer with the truck we had numerous mechanical issues with the truck. We had to replace the fifth-wheel, we had several tires that were bad that they claimed passed DOT inspection, we changed two shocks from tractor/sleeper, also had engine check light on, and other issues as well. Although dealer helped us with repairs expenses it was difficult to do. If you re thinking of purchasing a truck from them, I strongly recommend that you thoroughly inspect the truck and not leave dealer before getting everything fixed.

I recently purchased a truck from this dealership as I have done on 3 other occasions. After picking up the truck and driving only 150 miles, the motor truck in the truck blew up and was a total loss. Chris Hart, Nick, Missy and Phil went way above and beyond to work with me and figure out a course of action to rectify the situation. In about a week, I had a different truck and a deal that I was very satisfied with.This dealership cares more about keeping their customers satisfied than worrying about the bottom line. I have bought 4 trucks from Chris Hart and he is very professional, great communication and always willing to work the best deal for his customers.If your looking to purchase a truck, give Chris a call and make sure to take advantage of the great aftermarket warranty they offer. I have it in all my trucks and has been worth every penny.

Bought a truck from a private party that had a driveshaft made by and Installed at the Mankato location it it was driven to the owners location in town and dropped off. I purchased it picked it up drove home back to town and back home on the way back home it blew apart approximately 50 miles later going down the highway no warning signs.They replaced a shaft with one I bought, it cost me $700Plus a towThey paid for a yoke on the rear axle and labor to install the shaft. I believe it should have been 100% under warranty even tho I wasn t the one that paid for the original repair. The work was performed by a shop and they should stand behind their work.Edit : I ve since had repairs done on trucks from work there the service was good and the repairs were made in a timely fashion

They always try thier best to get me back on the road. I have never had to bring my truck back in for the same thing. All the repairs are solid.

Would really like to leave no stars, but that's not an option, but you know what is an option? Never using the Mankato Harrison Truck Center ever again for repairs. Wouldn't have gone there in the first place if the Peterbilt hadn't been damaged. Brought my companies rig in for a s-bar heater repair, a job that I've had done in the past at another shop and it didn't cost nor take as much time to fix as it did at Harrison. Also, told them about another problem with the rig and they didn't fix that at all. They over charged me for their time as they looked over my rig for other issues even though I told them EXACTLY what I needed done!

If you trying to purchase a use truck this is not the place, My brother n I bought a truck from them and it was the worst mistake of our life. Fifth wheel was broke and my engine warning lights was On. For them to replaced the fifth wheel I had to keep blowing up Nick and Chris phone, BTW Nick it s the manager n Chris is the sales men. The moment you drove off they parking lot with one of they trash they done forget about you, Stay away from this place.

This company will screw you !! Don't buy used from them, they buy there junk trucks at auctions then hide the problems and sell them to you. I am out $ 10,000 in repairs in 2 months of owning it. They did say they could take it in on trade $ 15,000 less then I paid 60 days ago if I bought a new truck from them. Yeah ok so I would lose a total of $ 25,000 in 60 days.. You people are thief's

CAUTION!They wanted to charge me $120.00 an hour to troubleshoot the motor that spray windshield washer fluid....turn out it was just frozen so I poured hot water and it work. Be careful here.

Showed up 20 minutes before they closed on a Saturday. Service tech still came out and diagnosed my truck, and checked availability of a replacement part to fix it. First thing Monday morning, they had me back on the road about 2 hours after opening! Very friendly and professional staff!

I Had a fuel issue, needed a DOT, and an egr issue with my 2020 freightliner. Dropped my truck off Friday morning and got my truck back Saturday afternoon. Very kind man, Brian Mundt, stopped me before I made my way to Waseca! My tire was nearly off the rim and things could ve gotten very ugly if he didn t so generously take time out of his day to make it apparent my tire was VERY flat. I bought a truck few days ago from Harrison Truck Centers in Mankato, MN. I had great experience working with Missy Strachan and Chris Hart.From the first day, during the whole process ,until I got the keys in my hand they were very professional,friendly and helpful.The deal took little bit longer than usual because the truck what I liked was much more expensive than the amount the lender approved me for.I was first time buyer and it seemed almost impossible to get the truck I wanted.But Missy got me approved for the truck that I wanted.Even she helped me with some of the documents wich I wasn't familiar about. It was nice experience working with Chris as well.He is very friendly, always answering his phone and emails.I know that the dealerships are all about sales and most of the employees are trained in good customer service.This time I didn't see just good customer service skills but excellent customer service skills.Professionals knowing what they are doing. Chris found me the right truck.Missy got me approved.They are very dedicated in what they are doing and they will do the best to get you in the truck you want.The truck what I bought is almost brand new but is only God's business how long will last ,and no matter what happens in the future I appreciate the time working with them.Thank You Missy, Chris and Harrison Truck Centers!
