Service department - slow, so so slow. This is my 3rd time using the service to get my oil changed and regular service. These services came with the purchase of a new car, and I will not be coming back.In this latest attempt, I made an appointment, and my car sat next to me for 30 minutes before they even started the service. All three appointments were the same bad experience. A simple oil change took over an hour and a half each time. One instance the car was done for over 25 minutes before they finally checked me out, they just needed a signature.They got two stars, because the service itself seemed fine. If that's how they treat you to get you to use their services more; they failed, bad.

I had the best experience buying a car at Hyundai of Mankato! My consultant, Drew, was very knowledgeable and paid attention to what I was looking for! I was under the weather, and everyone worked quickly to get me in and out, while making sure I had everything I needed and the car that I wanted. I actually had a pleasant experience buying a car, and that's something I could never say before! Drew is awesome!

I have purchased my last three vehicles from Hyundai of Mankato, working both with Nate for my first two and Isabel this last time, and I am so satisfied with my experience there each and every time! They don't pressure me, are friendly, efficient, and don't leave me tied up all day filling out loads of paperwork. They are straightforward and friendly and I always feel valued not only as a customer, but also as a woman and mother.

Angelo was an absolute delight to work with. He actually listened to what I wanted and didn't show me anything that didn't meet my standards. He was extremely nice but his biggest strength is his knowledge on the vehicles. He was able to answer every single question I had and was very informative about any of the vehicles I test drove with him. I HIGHLY recommend if you go to hyundai of mankato that you ask to work with him! You won't be disappointed

I had a call from Hyundai, their sales team, and was given a good deal on the phone with the opportunity to trade in my vehicle for a good used one, or a new one. I expressed multiple times I wasn't looking for a new vehicle at this time, and I wanted something that I could keep my monthly payments around $250 to $300 a month. I also told the salesperson that I lived 2 hours away, and I didn't want to drive all the way there for nothing, so I had to know if this was a sure thing. They said they would make it worth my while...I made an appointment to come see them, but that appointment didn't work out, so I postponed it for another week because of my work, before the 2nd appointment came up, I messaged Hyundai and said I was going to cancel because I wanted to just pay my car off that I had now and come see them when I was more financially ready. They kept pushing me to come see them and they wanted to see the car in person and make me a deal. Plus they said they could buy out the loan and get me a deal on something else I was looking for. I ended up caving in, which was my fault and stupidity, and taking my one day off to go visit Hyundai and go get this so-called "DEAL" they so confidently said they would give me a great deal on. Instead of spending a day with my best friend and doing a full day of fun activities around the area that my best friend and I had already planned for, my friend said let's go check this deal that Hyundai is so called promising.I traveled the 2 hours to Mankato with my friend, walked into Hyundai, was greeted with happy smiles and nice conversations, just like any hungry dealership would do. Within 30 to 40 minutes, I was told they couldn't do anything for me and said my car had too many miles for them to buy outright. So... instead of trying to get all the information from me for this deal over the phone...they wasted my time, money for gas, and my friend and I's day out because all they really wanted was to sell me a brand new car. That was their main objective. I will never trust Hyundai, or any other dealership again. So sick of their fake caring personality, and trickery to get people to drive 2 hours away, wasting my time and money. I hope they treat their personal life relationships better, than they do their customers. Must suck to work as a puppet for the big corporations.

While my husband was working an out-of-town job in Minnesota, our Hyundai Santa Fe Sport experienced engine failure. We had the truck sent to Hyundai of Mankato for repairs. The service department were amazing. Not only did they take care of the problem, but they also took care of all of the recalls that were associated with the truck and held our truck at their facility until we could make arrangements to travel from Chicago to Mankato to pick it up. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Hyundai of Mankato was wonderful to work with on purchasing our new Palisade. Taylor Braith the salesperson was excellent at comminating and found us the car we were looking for. Mitchell was there when we picked up the car and went over all the paperwork and features of the vehicle. He was very personable and great to work with. Mitchell was very knowable and answered all our questions about our new car. We also worked with Zach in finance get a loan through Hyundia. Zach was very helpful with getting our loan paperwork squared away. The process was quick and seamless. Great dealership and people to work with.

Isabel was very helpful. Despite knowing that I am looking into cars at other dealerships, she still represented Hyundai of Mankato well by helping me comprehend the specs of all the cars I am looking at and their trade-offs. Recently made a phone call to Hyundai dealer in town to get some parts order for my 2023 Tucson. after many calls and voicemail left, y had no luck.Called reception and ask to speak with someone on parts. receptionist put me on hold for few min.She comes back and after reach service manager, she told me that I have to go body shop of my choice and order parts because they can't do it.I cannot believe what she told me, I try to get new parts.What kind of service they offer?They should be only offering sales maybe.I have brand new Hyundai and cannot get parts for my own vehicle on my city dealership.Contacted Hyundai dealer in Minneapolis and the response was no more than 5 min with my answers and order.

Isabelle was AMAZING! I was in tight situation needing new wheels, and Matt, Isabelle, and Jake (From Kia) were all so helpful! As a single mom I can t afford to not have reliable transportation. Jake listened to all my needs and preferences and matched me with the best option possible! I am so grateful they were all able to get me back on the road so quickly. If you are looking for a car dealer who truly listens please visit Hyundai or Kia in Mankato! They WILL find you the best option(s), and will be completely transparent with you! I would give zero stars if that were an option. Don t waste your time here. You will get nothing but lies, gas lighting, manipulation and extremely jacked up prices. Avoid this place at all cost!Edit: after I made this review they cancelled my BlueLink subscription and are denying it. This place is ridiculous, I ve never had such an awful experience with a dealership.As a reply to their response: they say they didn t touch my BlueLink but it s ironic that it worked just fine up until I put up my review then all of a sudden I m being asked to pay for it again. Their response is a perfect example of the gas lighting they love doing. It was rather apparent from the moment you walked in, that you didn't want a resolution. Explain that response to me Hyundai, how can you tell that from someone who s simply walking in? I never wanted to buy another vehicle, I simply wanted to see what my vehicle was valued at, and I made that clear when they called me to set up an appointment. As soon as they knew they didn t have a sale they got rude and stingy. When they told me my vehicle had dropped over $10,000 in value in less than 8 months, I was shocked at just how much I was ripped off. Then them trying to blame me saying I bought a vehicle during Covid times, which I did not buy it during Covid times. Like I said, I have never had such a horrible experience with dealership. I will never return here and I will make damn sure I tell everyone I know to avoid this place at all cost.

I would like to express my gratitude for the servicing department, especially to Morgan Skidmore who was extremely helpful in solving the problem. My beautiful Palisade that we purchased a few years ago has been not so pleasant to drive recently. The ride was very bumpy and it was a clear feeling that the rear struts/shocks were not dampening the bouncing. The discomfort was real to the point that my children felt nauseous during the ride. I felt very bad since Palisade is an amazing SUV and driving it became pretty uncomfortable. Even though there was no visible damage to the suspension system and it was difficult to substantiate the warranty repair request, Morgan nevertheless went an extra mile and requested a goodwill repair due to customer's complaint. The difference is huge and the ride improved substantially. I would like to say thank you to Morgan and his service crew for their outstanding service!

I couldn't have been more happy with my time spent here to get the truck that fits every damn need. This bad boy is brand new and sexy as Jason Momoa. Beautiful ride. Not a horrible price tag either. They worked well with my budget and gave me the best way to get this bad boy. Our car person, Angelo was fantastic! He was attentive to Evey detail when I spoke about my family needs. He made me feel like what I needed mattered and it had to come first. If they don't give him a raise, then I'll happily take his resume to my company. Thanks for making this a great experience. Will be back for sure!

I had a great buying experience from the staff at Hyundai Mankato as Mitchell coordinated everything for me and when I had some minor work that needed to be done on my vehicle, Morgan from the service team was wonderful to work with and took care of things best he could and even faster than I had hoped. I highly recommend these folks and their services!

I had to book an oil change more than 3 weeks in advance however their customers service was oustanding...not just here but in Michigan and Oregon. This is how you build brand loyalty.

Service department is terrible. Damaged all 4 rims when they rotated my tires and took 3 months to get them to replace them. Also had warranty issues on some parts and they didn t want to take care of them and had to call Hyundai customer service and they weren t much help they wouldn t get back to me. Took it to a dealership in the cities and in 2 weeks they ordered the parts and installed with no issues.

I would highly advise not to waste time with this dealership. We have been looking for a new palisade and finally found one on the lot here. We were told they won t make a deal over the phone per their policy. So we wanted to make sure that we weren t going to make a 3 hour drive for nothing. They told us to put our trade-in information into the estimation tool on their website for an idea on their offer range. On two separate occasions they told us they would likely be somewhere in the range given from this tool. Finally on the weekend when my wife could make the trip (and they were aware she was coming) she drove 3 hours only to be informed they just sold the palisade. Ok fine, I get it there s no hold on the vehicle. But then they tried to sell her an overpriced used palisade full of dog hair and quoted her $2,000 less for our trade than what their estimation tool quoted (despite being reassured previously that they d be around the tool s range).Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. This entire process was a gigantic waste of time and money that they obviously didn t care about. We ended up finding a different Hyundai dealer that gave us more for our trade without even seeing it and took a verbal agreement to get a deposit and hold a palisade.This was honestly the worst dealership experience we ve ever had.

Definitely spend your money elsewhere. My $30k got me empty promises and a high quality "detailing" after only 2 months of a wait. If this is how you want to be treated, stop on in and bring your checkbook! Worst vehicle purchase experience ever and I was a lender for a decade.

What could ve resulted in a lower rating was saved by the hard work and perseverance of their sales consultant, Isabel, with help from higher management. After driving both a palisade and a Santa Fe, we found we really liked the Santa Fe, but dealership didn t have the colors or calligraphy trim that we wanted. In doing some phone research, one was located, but it wouldn t be available until early September. and they didn t have a price on it. Dealership wanted a $500 down payment without confirmation of how much the vehicle would cost and what they would give me for trade-in. I said we both needed to think about it. Contacted Isabel the next day and got together with her. While staff searched other vehicle options, Isabell got an appraisal done in our rig, and entertained us for nearly 2 hours as the staff searched what must been much of Minnesota to find something. In the end, we got the trim and colors that we wanted and it was delivered within one day. Isabel then spent another hour with us going over auto details and programming. Senior management apologized immensely for some of the confusion and delays that had happened. Their response and special consideration, took what could ve been a rather negative transaction and turned it into a positive experience for us.

Great customer service! The buying process was very easy and seamless. If you are in the market for a new car, stop on over. Everyone I worked with were very helpful and no pressure to buy. They don't pressure you to purchase any addition services or items.

Disclaimer: I went in to buy a car with very few credit options and we didn t examine the car very carefully and I was fully aware that we were buying it as is.we went in about a month ago & we were shown 2 used vehicle options. Our salesman Nate, seemed very nice, very honest, very wanting to make it easy on us. When he showed us the vehicle we bought, immediately I noticed that the car s back bumper was loose, kind of hanging and since we had a similar problem with the vehicle we were trading I immediately honed in on that. He told us that he and some other Hyundai employees had noticed that and figured somehow the previous owner had broken the clips. I noticed a few small cosmetic issues on the driver s side. When we got in for a test drive & started the car you could hear a lot of rocks, or dirt or something in something under the hood. Nate Said he d have them vacuum it out when they detailed the car. They didn t do that and it was the worst detail job I ve ever seen. It took about 10 minutes. That evening all of a sudden I noticed long scratches on the passenger s side bumper and the running light on that side was loose and just hanging in its housing. I answered an email asking about our experience so I responded and then I talked to one of the employees. Then I talked to Nate after his day off and told him about it and he said that other than us buying glue & bringing it to the dealership and he d try to help us glue the back bumper in place, they wouldn t do anything because we had bought it as is .Other problems that have shown their ugly head is that the trash in the exhaust or air conditioning system is some kind of bird feed that blows in the front seat every time you start the car. There has also been varying degrees of a rotting body smell in the car even though I recently put 2 fridge packs of baking soda in the car. I ve hypothesized that whoever the previous owner is, they had a wreck with some animal, knocked the bumper loose, scratched up the front bumper or fender & knocked the light loose & then traded the car.We re having to pay a huge amount for this vehicle and while I am partially to blame for not examining the car better, going in desperate to buy, I also feel like they re business practices aren t very honest and that they knew at the dealership about the issues and probably about whatever wreck it was in, but didn t tell us. Nor did the salesman point out any of the physical issues or say anything about the car having been wrecked. I believe that we had the stereotypical car buying experience there. The kind that gives car dealers a bad name, a bad reputation. I come from a large family line of car dealers. I should have known better.
