Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was pleased with the work done on my Corvette. They kept me informed of the progress of the work throughout the day and did not do any extra without talking to me first. They actually informed me they were not going to do something because it was not necessary, saving me money. I highly recommend this auto repair shop.

have taken my car here a couple times. great customer service. their pricing isn t overpriced and the workers give good explanations for everything going on. i love that they take pictures and explain what was all done or what needs to be done with your car.

Since my first visit, I knew Greg's was different in a very good way. I called around to different shops in the Mankato area for foreign repair options with budget in mind. From the first call, Taylor, Alex and staff were so friendly. They have consistently answered their phone with kindness, returned calls and texts promptly, greeted with smiles at the door, been extremely patient, updated the progress on my vehicle, quoted fairly and before any work was to be done, and they always made sure I wasn't left without a car to get to work while mine was being serviced. They have ALL treated me and my car issues with respect, positivity and complete fairness. I never felt judged for driving a high mileage, 21-year old car and choosing to repair it as long as I can, especially since sourcing parts and knowledge of fixing it can be challenging. They have gone above and beyond in so many ways and so many times; I really cannot say enough good things about them. THANK YOU. I am so grateful for this shop and how it has blessed me abundantly.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Greg s for a few years and always get quality service! They always ensure me that the job will be done at a fair price and the staff is very good at communicating the diagnosis! I now bring my fleet of business vehicles here 10/10 recommend!

Greg, Taylor & all the folks here have taken exceptional care of me (and 4 different vehicles!) over many years. It's comforting to never doubt their estimates, their work or their word. I couldn't imagine going elsewhere... and I never do!

Gregs auto was great enjoyed working with them to get my truck fixed up I would recommend them anytime. They guaranteed their work for me for 3 years which was great I don't need to worry about it again for the foreseeable future.

I have been taking my Toyota Camry to Greg s Champion Auto for over 5 years, and they have always done excellent work maintaining it with very friendly service - expecting to surpass my 240K milage w years to come!

My car needed a new blower motor and some other parts to make the heating work. Alex called me saying there was another problem and they got the other items fixed the same day. The cost was what I had expected, but I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly and professionally they handled the whole process. This shop has always been top notch but they exceeded that in the past couple days. I took them a train wreck of a truck I ran out of time to get going. Needing it today they got everything I asked for done and some wish list items also. Alex and their lead mechanic explained stuff simple and easy and while the bill was high it was a fraction of what I expected. Any time I get in a pinch they come through.

Great service. Examines your car meticulously and gives you a great detailed explanation of your cars condition. Backed by pictures, sent by text. Great service and very impressed!!! Honest opinions of what to do and reasonable also.

Great service. Daughter is a student at MSU and had problems with dead battery/starting. Greg s got the car in 2 full days ahead of schedule and did a comprehensive battery analysis and draw testing. Good communication back to us on findings. Will use them again if necessary as both my kids go to MSU. We live in a northern Minneapolis suburbs so it is a peace of mind finding about Greg s down in Mankato.

These guys probably don't need another 5 star review but they deserve it. I've done business with them a handful of times now and its always been smooth trustworthy service. This last visit for me unfortunately some things went awry and some of it was out of their control. I was without a car for most of the time mine was being worked on going on 2 weeks. Eventually they were able to get me a loaner for my troubles which I appreciated. I work early in the AM so unfortunately I couldn't utilize their shuttle service but they offered that as well. After so long I requested some form of a discount at the end just for the troubles and they were very receptive and understanding and generous in the end with what they gave me.They keep you in the loop very well with what is going on with your car and give you information about parts that are wearing out which to me is a tremendous help so I can better prepare financially to fix things rather than just have a giant bill that shows up one day.They are fast, reliable, trustworthy, and nice guys. Everything you're looking for in a repair shop. No need to waste your time anywhere else, these guys are it. Thanks Taylor and Alex and the rest of the guys at GCA.

I couldn t recommend GCA enough. I have had issues for years with my A/C and had been avoiding what I knew would be a costly repair - the compressor. Alex and Taylor were the two I communicated with during the process and they gave me a super detailed report that was sent to me during the service and made sure to call me to discuss everything that needed to be done and what kind of timeline I had. They made sure to ask what I would like to have done and made recommendations on what should be done soon and what can wait. I had a couple fluid changes that needed to be done on top of my compressor and they managed to find me the best deal to minimize cost and make sure that my vehicle was taken care of. If you re in search of a new auto shop or just want to check it out I would say give these guys a shot!

I have been to Grey s several times over the years, and it has always been a great experience. I feel I can trust them to do a good job and not to nickel and dime me over BS stuff. In my experience, they are very easy to work with and do a very good and thorough job. I have taken several cars there over the years, but it started with my Ex-wife's old Accord. It had an engine light with poor performance. Greys quote came back 4 figures lower than the Honda dealership, and even talked us through doing it ourselves if we chose that route. You can trust the group at grey s to give you and your vehicle top-notch care.

We came to Greg's after reading reviews on Google, and are so beyond happy we did! Our truck was having some issues, and 2 prior mechanics could not figure out what was going on. From the moment we came in, to when we picked our truck up, we could not have asked for better service. They are comprehensive in both diagnosing what is wrong, but also in keeping you in the loop. Since we had to leave our truck there, they drove us home, and while waiting, we received an extremely detailed email addressing the issues, with pictures. We were even offered a loaner car, as it took a few days to properly fix everything. The cost was very reasonable; and they made sure our vehicle was in perfect condition. When it was finished, we were picked up and brought back to the shop-this is a service we have never seen anywhere else. In particular, Mike has gone above and beyond to make sure we have had great experiences each time we have visited the shop-whether it be for something significant or not. If you are looking for the absolute best auto mechanics in Mankato, then Greg's Champion Auto is the place to go! We wouldn't trust anyone else.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Taylor went above and beyond my expectations of GCA. He really helped me out by figuring out why my car was running so bad. Changed my spark plug & my car ran great & I was able to pick up my out of town grandbabies. Taylor is now my new go to guy because he cares about the customer & not over charging like the other shop down on Rock st. That raked me thru the coals!!!

Thorough, professional, and nice. Yes - call Greg's Champion Auto! They got me in promptly. I received a full diagnostic report, with pictures. Alex and Taylor kept me posted and explained why delays were present or what wasn't going as planned. Joe even brought me home after hours, on his way home, when I didn't have my DL to get the loaner I was supposed to pick up! And the guys helped me search my car in case my DL was in it. (How kind!!) They provided better updates and service than any dealership I have worked with - and they didn't expect ME to be a mechanic and have a full understanding of the repairs needed before I brought it to them. So refreshing!! My car runs great again!! Kudos to Taylor and Team for the level of service they provide!!

I've had two recent experiences with Greg's Champion Auto.#1: I had a starter replaced a couple of years ago at another shop in town that I no longer patronize. I started having problems with the starter again. I was expecting another pricey repair. In a conversation with Taylor, I discovered that the part was possibly covered by a warranty through the original shop. For unrelated reasons, I did not want the re-repair done there. After some research and a number of phone calls with the original shop and with the part manufacturer, Taylor was able to coordinate the transfer of the warranty to his shop where the work was done. Instead of the several hundred dollars that I originally was expecting to pay, I did not pay anything.#2: On a recent cold day, I went to my car and it would not start. The engine would not turn over and the dashboard displays were going crazy. After a brief conversation with Taylor, he suspected my battery was the culprit. In short order, he drove to my location, tested my battery, and confirmed his suspicions that the battery had exhausted its useful life. He jumped my car. I followed him back to his shop. As I was not a scheduled appointment, there wasn't an available tech. Taylor replaced the battery himself and I was on my way in about half an hour.I've never had this kind of attention and service from repair shop before.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Taylor and the guys do a super thorough and great job. Always trust my vehicle here and these days not many places leave me feeling that way. I drive from the southern metro whenever I have anything I feel needs to be taken seriously with my vehicle.

Oh my goodness..... where oh where do I start? This business is AMAZING!!! They are efficient, friendly, very affordable. Taylor went above and beyond to help us with working with our insurance company on this repair. I have been fortunate to find a mechanic in Mankato where I can bring my BMW to be worked on. Without hesitation I go to Greg s Champion Auto each time my car has a mechanical issue because people there are very competent mechanics, trustworthy, and very nice people. I highly recommend Taylor and his team and gladly give 5 stars to Greg s Champion Auto.

I have been going to Greg's Champion auto for as long as I have been able to drive. They have always went above and beyond to take care of my vehicles as well as helping to make sure I have transportation while my car is being worked on. I recommend them to everyone I know. Very impressed with the team at Greg's Champion Auto. Brought my Fianc� car in to get the transmission replaced. It was stressful going through such a big repair and the team at Greg's were very detailed (a lot of very detailed pictures and notes) in their findings and talked us through the entire process.
