I will never take my car anywhere else. Fromm's is by far the most honest and up-front car mechanic in town. I have had a lot of car problems over the years and the prices have always been fair. Kent & Wade are the best, they have always been so nice and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you guys.

This place came highly recommended, but when we decided not to use them for repairs due to the high cost they hung up on us. Do not recommend. Some people don't have funds right now for high dollar car repairs.Edit to add reply to fromm: we were able to get our vehicle Fromms claimed wasn't worth it repaired down the road for $2000. Vehicle still has a lot of life on it at only 150000 miles and the year it is.

I needed a car on short notice after hitting a deer with mine on a work trip. They were able to hook me up with a clean, well maintained car that I could take back home to Iowa until I found a replacement. The staff was very helpful in getting me through a stressful situation.

We are so grateful for the service we get at Fromm s. We have had them help fix multiple vehicles over the years but most recently they were able to replace the muffler on our Tahoe and Wade was really great about keeping us updated and tracking down the part as quickly as possible. We will definitely continue to bring our vehicles here.

One of the best experiences I have had with auto work. Not only were they able to help with quickly repairing my vehicle, but provide a rental for this unexpected breakdown. Nicest people you'll meet!!I wish I could give them 10 stars!!Okay, long story short. My semi broke down earlier that day and I didn't know that it be down for at least a couple. Didn't find that out till later in the afternoon. So I called up Fromm's Auto Repair and sure enough they were able to take care of me. Got me a nice used car I could drive home with. I highly recommend Fromm's Auto Repair :-)

Rented a car for a 2 day trip out of state. Very easy to reserve. Nice late model car which was very reasonable compared to the others in town. Treated very well and would rent from them again!

Friendly, accommodating, and service oriented people, so easy to work with. We rented a car for two days and I was driven back to our RV when I returned the vehicle. I'm a very happy, satisfied custom!

Fromm s was able to find me the perfect tires for my car and took exceptional care when putting them on. I wouldn t trust anyone else to do the job they did. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Thank you!

Needed an alignment after having the front end of my truck rebuilt and they worked with my schedule and got me in quickly and done right away! Replaced a missing anti roll bar bolt in the process and got me back on the road within an afternoon, even offer shuttle service for in town drop off and pick up, or discounted rentals for out of town residents. Great services, prices, and staff!

Was in a tight place looking for a mechanic to change some filters before a long haul trip to Texas that I was told about on a Wednesday night. Called 40 shops hoping to get it in by Friday, and nobody had anything open. I'd been referred to these guys, and they said they would get back to me Thursday morning, and they held up their end. They made the appointment for Friday and even got me in earlier than the appointment time, AND faster done than the quote! Will be going back for some brake work after the trip. WILL be sending more people over here also. Highly recommended and very pleased with the friendly staff and respectful time there.

Best service around whether you're needing to purchase a used vehicle, rent a vehicle or repair your own. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who remember you by name! I will never go anywhere else for my vehicle needs.

I haven t really taken my car anywhere else in Mankato and it s because I don t have to! I started coming here maybe 4/5 years ago in college and love it. Reasonably priced, timely, and the nicest service guys you ll ever meet. Not usually difficult to get my car in either. They won t bs you and tell you that you need a bunch of work done. 100% recommend place.

Went there for a fuel issue scheduled for 4 days out but they were able to dig into it the next day after I had it towed there called me and said it was done already!! Awesome work and Great mechanics great service....

I bought a battery here last year, it never seems to hold a charge very long and almost exactly one year later it stopped entirely. I called them and they gave me a new battery in about 15 minutes under warranty. Used them for other auto work as well. If your in mankato I highly recommend them.

My neighbor recommended Fromm's Auto Rental to me and I'm happy she did! The communication was great and the whole process went smoothly. No hidden costs very straight forward. I can't say thank you enough for the good services!

Fromms is the BEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP TO EVER EXIST!!. I m a mother of 5 and every time they have fixed my cars they have worked with me on getting my car back. I can t even explain how much of a blessing Fromms is! I will never ever use a different mechanic shop. They have a customer for life!! Their customer service is absolutely incredible!! Most shops don t care about life situations but Fromms does. I wouldn t be able to keep a working vehicle if it wasn t for them working with me. I always recommend them to everyone I know. Everyone that works there has been so kind and comforting (I have called very stressed and upset). If you ever need repairs go to Fromms first!

I called for a brake replacement and oil change and they were available immediately the next morning. When I dropped off my car I asked if they could fix a broken door handle. I told them to fix it the same day or order the part and I would come back again for the door repair another day if needed. They we re able to do all three services the same day and I had my car back by noon. Price was good and the shuttle service worked around my lunch break at work. Will definitely go there again.Services: Auto brake replacement, Oil change

I got used tires for my vehicle and everyone was friendly. When I first called to see if they had my size tires, the gentleman said he would call me within 30 minutes while he checked. He called in less than 10 minutes. I went to get them mounted on and I was there for less than an hour. Their service is great !

We were out of town and were in a real bad situation and needed to rent a car. And even without a reservation we were able to rent a car quickly and inexpensively. After that I returned the car and made a tire purchase from them. And I looked up the tire later only to find that the tire was priced so well that it was less than half of a new one. I definitely would come back to this auto repair shop for anything I need done - Paul & Sonia Foss.Service: Tires

Perhaps you will have a better experience when renting a vehicle from Fromms. My family rented a vehicle for a few days and upon return were later accused of causing interior damages we didn't even know existed. I have since learned that if you decide to rent from here (or anywhere) be sure to video the interior and exterior of the vehicle before leaving the lot otherwise you maybe in for a verbal back and forth over damages. Would not recommend.

Had a headlight out and needed to be replaced. Called Mankato Motors, and they quoted me $350. I knew that was ridiculous, so I called up Fromm s, and it cost me $100. They were super friendly, and got the job done fast.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

These guys have been very helpful to me over the years. Haven't done a ton of business there because I do my own work if possible but the times I have used them they were great to work with.
