Decided to try Autotronics to evaluate my car s issue based on the reviews. Had a wonderful experience. They are very friendly and helpful. They took time to explore the car s problem. My husband and I will be bringing all of our vehicles here from now on. Best experience/service in town!!

I was traveling for work and my car broke down.They fixed it within a reasonable cost.I dropped the car off to them and they drove me to my hotel with no added cost.Staff was very pleasant to deal with.

I ve been taking my vehicles to Autotronics for more than 25 years. They always do an excellent job at a reasonable price. I d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to have their vehicles serviced.

Todd,Dave, and shooter got my truck in last minute to replace all 4 tires, that i ordered online. I was in need of new tires badly, especially with winter weather conditions. Todd gave me a ride to and from my employer outside of Mankato. Great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fair prices! 5/5 stars!

Of all the automotive places I have gone, Autotronics has been the most reliable for service, work, and cleanliness. I am very grateful for their courteous and timely work. And, I never have had to deal with grime/ cleaning up the inside of the cab from automotive gunk. Keep up the great work! I prefer Autotronics over any other shop.

They are the best!! Started bringing my cars here nearly 10 years ago. Honest, quality work, fair prices and they treat you like family. I've since moved out of the area but found myself in town earlier this week with a dead battery. They quickly had me on the road again with the same professional and courteous customer care I remembered. Highly recommend.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Battery, Oil change

I highly recommend Autotronics. If you need a mechanic in the Mankato area, GO HERE!! Our daughter goes to MN State but we live out of state. Her car wouldn't start so we had it towed to them. They were extremely helpful and honest. They went beyond what I could have imagined for helping her out. It was a stressful situation with us not being able to help and her having little experience with dealing with car trouble. I cannot say enough good things, from giving her a ride to pick up her car, to a loaner the second time, to checkinf it out, finding nothing wrong and not charging us. All amazing! Their pricing is very reasonable as well.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've tried other mechanics in town but after coming to Autotronics, I will never take my car anywhere else. They do a thorough job and complete the repair correctly the first time. The staff are friendly and take the time to go over your vehicle's issues and available options. The prices are exactly correct and match the value of service.

Got an oil change. And when I got into my car my mileage read like 122980 or something and they want me to change my oil at 126000 miles. Or at 2/14 so In a couple months, just don t even think that s correct. when I know I can get almost 5k miles on my oil and or some every 6 months or so great people but just think there tryna scam u in some areas when u don t need a oil change every 3k miles..Service: Oil change

Very happy with the performance at the time I was receiving an approval of my vehicle to drive for lift. Even though they were short on staff and behind due to high volume in business they were kind straight forth in recommendation and willing to explain to me their perception of my vehicles review and suggestions were courteously made. The family business is very well run and should be beyond proud of their hard work.

This is a great auto shop. The office staff is great and the mechanics are very skilled and work fast! I've had a few sizeable repairs done here and always had my car back the same or next day. A friend said she brings her car there because they don't talk condescendingly when explaining a repair, and I've always felt the same way.There is a shuttle service and loaner cars too (not sure about the shuttle during the pandemic).Solid shop! It's my first choice in Mankato when my car needs work.

I have taken my car to Autotronics for both routine maintenance as well as to fix the occasional break down. The guys are always up front with their pricing and quotes and the work done is always great. I especially like their shuttle service as well as the coupons they send me in the mail. Keep up the good work!

I can t say enough good things about this company. I had my car towed to their shop because of the good reviews and they fulfilled them all and more. The cost of repairs was considerably less than I feared, since other shops I ve been to have tried to gouge the prices for repairs. They kept it simple and affordable and kept me informed about the status of my car repairs. I ll definitely go here in the future.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I was referred to Autotronics by several friends, and holy wow are they amazing. Never before have I had the confidence to bring my vehicles to a mechanic until now. They are extremely courteous, prompt, responsive, descriptive, friendly and helpful. I brought my main car in and had them do some major engine work on it, and never once doubted them as the service was outstanding. I was so happy with them that I took my (embarrassing) junker car to them and didn't once feel any judgement at all. Take my money. All of it. Their ability to service a customer is a lost art and I can't applaud them enough. Thank you!

I've been with Terry and now Todd for over 40 years. They have always been honest and trustworthy. My daughter's car broke down in St. Cloud and I actually thought about having it towed to Autotronics I trust them that much. The only repairs I've had done by others were because I was out of town, but even then with a phone call they were more than happy to answer any questions I had regarding the problem. Their quotes have been accurate and knowing that I need my van for my job have gotten the work finished on schedule.

I brought in a vehicle with an intermittent issue and it took a week before it happened for them to be able to figure it out, but when it did they were able to quickly diagnose the issue and fix it. While they had my vehicle, they provided a complimentary loaner. That is a great perk. Jay is great to work with. Competitive pricing and quality work.

Love this place. They are polite and happy to help. With my first visit, not only did they send me a thank you card, but also a $20 off grift card (woohoo). They have drop off and pick up services, and loaner cars should it be needed. I have lived in several places across the country and have had various different experiences (from really good, to total ripoff), I feel their quality of work matches the cost. I can say with the up most honesty, they rock!

Fantastic auto service and great customer care! Autotronics is the only place I will take my truck. I was greeted with respect the moment I spoke to the gentlemen there, they are attentive and knowledgeable. I got in fast and the prices are very reasonable. They tell you in plain English exactly what you need. They even have rental cars so that if they need to keep your car for the day they can give you a rental. All I had to pay was the gas! My car was fixed in less time than they had estimated and runs better than it has in years. I highly recommend Autotronics to anyone with car trouble!

Maybe it's common in the Midwest, but I'd never heard of an auto shop lending out cars while yours is being repaired- what an incredible customer service! I'm pretty terrible at receiving bad car news (specifically terrible at hearing how much repairs cost) but the staff is always kind and nonjudgmental as I move through "the stages of grief" to acceptance. I have had some tricky issues with my vehicle and don't imagine anyone else would handle them with any more professionalism as they have at Autotronics. Their absolute best aspect is that here you're treated as a person, not just as a customer.

I highly recommend Autotronics for any of your vehicle s needs. I have been taking my vehicles there for ten years now. Never disappointed. The team there really has everything together. They are organized, professional, accommodating, and trustworthy. Would not take my vehicle anywhere else. My only regret with working with these guys is not being there in person to shake their hands when they were finished. I had some transmission issues during a day trip to Mankato and got my car towed here. The same issues were recently addressed with my primary shop, but the part they replaced ended up being defective. The part was covered with a warranty from NAPA and Autotronics was able to replace it cost free. Not only was I able to communicate with them entirely through the phone, they communicated with my primary shop as well. They were extremely helpful and kind throughout the entire process and I can't recommend them enough.Service: Transmission

I contacted Autotronics with a fault to my Instrument Cluster. They advised me to send the unit to them for repair. This I did, and they kept me informed throughout the repair process. Despatched it back to me via Carrier and I was up and running again after just 5 days. Ford main agent suggested I purchase a new Instrument Cluster for 10 times the cost of Autotronics repair cost. Also I did not require any software upload after the repair, so it was just a "plug and Play" repair. Brilliant Service.Service: Electrical repair

The folks at Autotronics are some of the greatest and most helpful people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I recently had an incident in which my vehicle had been towed to their shop but left on the street by the towing company even though Autotronics assured me there had been room for multiple vehicles. At the time of my vehicles arrival the shop was closed and the town had gone into a snow emergency which lead to my car getting towed by another towing company. When I called in the morning to talk about the needed repairs I found out that they had my keys but not my car. The service rep I spoke to at Autotronics volunteered to call the two companies and try to work something out. Unfortunately the towing companies didn't want to work together and wouldn't release my car without a hefty fine of ~$117. As I tried to work with the towing company at fault, Todd, the manager of Autotronics, called me and volunteered his services to be of help anyway he could. I went to the shop to speak with him as the towing company at fault still wasn't accepting any responsibility. We talked and he said he would call me within the hour to see if he could work something out. Within 30 minutes he called me and told me that he had arranged a deal with the the two towing companies and that everything was taken care of. I can't thank these guys enough, especially Todd! They treated me like family and kept on a smile even in a very difficult situation. My car was repaired in rapid time and I went home happy after a stressful day. Thank you Todd and everyone at Autotronics!

Jason at Autotronics was great. My car quit working, and I don't know anything about cars, so I would communicate with Jason and relay the information to my father in a different town. Jason was happy to talk to my father directly on the phone. I found that very admirable and it allowed me to feel like there was no dishonesty. Not only are they honest, but their prices appear to be the best in town! We compared prices with other places in town, and Autotronics always had the most reasonable price. I was very pleased with my experience. Thanks, guys!

I have worked with Autotronics twice over the last few years and they have been absolutely exceptional.I needed a battery jump early in the morning so I called up AAA and they sent Autotronics out to help. The technician arrived quickly and was very friendly and professional. He charged the battery and gave me some info regarding its health and recommend a new one. He wasn't pushy in the slightest and completely understood when I passed on purchasing a new one.Because of that positive experience when my other car needed a new battery I called AAA and specifically requested Autotronics. Not only did the technician arrive promptly again but he was the same guy as last time and remembered who I was over a year later. He had no problem getting it replaced right in the parking lot even though the local auto parts shop told me it would need to be taken to a shop to be replaced.I am very satisfied with Autotronics and would recommend them without a second thought.

Autotronics has been doing all of my work for years. They go out of their way to provide excellent customer service and top quality repair work at a reasonable price. You always know where you stand and the work estimates keep surprises at a minimum. It's nice to have a repair shop you can trust.

Called to schedule an inspection on my A/C that was no longer blowing cold air. When I received call they told me it was working when I had clearly told them it was blowing just not cold air. They couldn't find what was wrong with it and just kept telling me different each time. They were trying to charge over $2K to fix my A/C compared to another repair shop that was able to repair already and only charge $700. Not to mention the fact I had to leave for two days...Service: Air conditioning
