After looking at every other dealership in town and finding nothing for a reasonable price I decided to stop by Adams Auto. It was the first dealership where I was allowed to shop at my own pace and didn t feel an overwhelming amount of pressure! They truly step back and wait for you to express interest rather than trying to up sell you. They also gave me a very fair trade in value for my car when other dealerships tried to give me insultingly low values. Joe was fantastic to work with, super nice guy! Would definitely purchase here again. Quality services, quality vehicles, and great prices.

Joe Tummers really took the time and care to help me find the perfect car. It's my first time purchasing my own car and he made it so easy. I appreciate how thorough and knowledgeable he was down to the smallest detail. I felt heard and taken care of. The entire team was friendly and warm. My husband and I have been in the market for a vehicle for awhile but haven t been able to find what we want in our price range. Recently even talked about lowering our expectations for the current market. Planned to spend a whole Saturday looking around town again and stopped at Adams first. We fell in love with a truck and we were in, and out, keys in hand and overly affordable monthly payment in about an hour. Small town business feel with big town business professionalism.

I have lived all over MN. Bought over 30 used cars in my life time. Adam's Auto family dealership is by far the best I've done business with. From ownership to the sales staff all the way to the service bay. You are welcomed like family here. Honesty, loyalty and bottom line prices. Taya was very helpful, insiteful and most importantly genuine during the process of the purchase. You get the feeling of home here. I just can't say enough.

This review is a bit overdue as I have now purchased three vehicles from here over the last couple years. They have very reasonable prices and will tell you everything they know about the vehicle you are looking at and will work with you to make sure you are happy with your purchase. I have been happy with all three of my purchases and I'm sure I will on the next one as well! Highly recommend

If your car shopping, I highly recommend Adam's Auto in Mankato. Our family purchased several cars there over the years including this gem and they have all been reliable and a great value. Best of all, the people who work at and own Adam's Auto are amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Trust is important and they have earned it.

A friend of mine recommended them. So I proceeded to go ahead and see if I can sell my two cars. A 2013 Lexus and 2008 Infinity.I was skeptical - mainly because even though I have lived in kato land for over 20 plus years - I completely understand Midwestern mannerisms - AKA MN nice.With a straight face - the gentleman doing the numbers told me - the combined prices for my two cars were less than a 2014 Civic coup on his lot. COMBINED! Then he proceeded to tell me how nice the cars are.Now, this Midwest experience won t deter me from my ongoing higher exceptions in humanity - but as a public service - the high recommendation seems to apply to certain demographics - and amazingly - this conclusion seems to hold fairly accurate for most dealers in kato. The best I can say - at least Adams auto did not make me sit and wait for 30 mins only to tell me sorry we don t buy cars older than 2010. I know duh right.So - assert accordingly. The high rating and the application is inversely proportional to how easily your last name is pronounced. If it doesn t rhyme with Lefsa or Sourkrought - it s best to head over to the big city and try your luck.Trust but re-verify & verify again.*********Joe, glad to have provided my review for what it is worth. We both know it is worth diddly squat. The two stars is a thank you for taking your time to actually talk to me sounds rather tepid but after visiting pretty much all dealers in town, your team is the only one that even gave me the time and day to give me any consideration. That is a good thing.The selling point of any car for me is service record. I indicated I have over 30 plus receipts in the glove compartment from a reputable service center in Bloomington, Luther Infinity including the last oil change. That was not considered. Indicated the major works that were done to the cars based on the service advisory included in the user manuals which were done on time and religiously. That did not tip the scale in any sense to my advantage.My advice, may be it is worth looking at the work history prior to generating some number that is biased to maximize your bottom line while eroding mine? May be it is worth looking at publicly accessible websites that the general public like yours truly look at prior to coming to dealers? But who cares right ?

Great used vehicle dealer! Bought a gmc acadia and the day after I bought it the transmission started acting up. Brought it back and they put all new parts in it and no more issues. No charge! Thank you

Never ever trust a dealer especially this one. I have to fix one part almost every other week for a Toyota Camry 2009 i bought from them. I feel they sold me a piece of trash, I feel I have been lied to when I needed a car so badly. Never again buy used cars from such dealer.

Joe and Tyler of Adams Auto Sales Mankato are fantastic! They immulate what it means to be "customer first." When my vehicle that was purchased from another dealer broke down out of state, I chose to make the trek to Adams. They have my trust and future car shopping business. Hands down 10/5 stars! I bought a SUV from them last week, Very fast, very friendly. My Jeep smells like new and looks great! Shawn did everything very fast and friendly to get me in my vehicle ASAP. My parents bought from them years ago and I'm glad to have checked them out.PS: the office smelled good too :)

What can I say. Awesome service!I have a family member who lives in town and has been coming here for years. I know, because he has often brought this place up in conversation. As it were, I was in Mankato (from out of town) for a family event last weekend. Long story short, an oil hose blew out. Pulled into a parking lot and thought, now what? who do I call? Didn't want to take it to a dealer, so I thought of my brother and (his car guy's) He got me hooked up. Had the car toed to the garage on Saturday afternoon. Got a call from Rhett on Monday morning. All done. The car sounds good. Picked it up Monday night.What can I say. Awesome service!Ed Daley

I take all of my vehicles to their service department for repairs. I can't say enough good about them. I keep coming back time and time again. Customer service is beyond stellar. Quality repairs, decent prices, excellent customer service, and always have room in their schedule.

I wouldn't go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle. We have purchased our last 4 vehicles at Adam's Auto Sales. When you walk into Adam's you are greeted with a warm and caring atmosphere. We have always gotten a great deal from them and have been very satisfied with our purchases. They are a family run business and I believe they truly care about myself and my family. The caring and concern do not end when you drive off the lot. They have been very accommodating and back up their sales and have always made things "right". When we have traded in a vehicle I feel they have given us top value and will work with you so that getting a vehicle is possible without stress and pressure and without breaking your budget. We also get our service work done at Adam's Auto and have been totally satisfied. No tricks up their sleeve. When the time comes we will purchase our next vehicle from Adam's Auto. They are top dog!

Our family purchased its fourth vehicle from Adams Auto Sales today and we couldn't be more pleased. Everyone who works for Adams Auto is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My husband was looking for a truck and Adams Auto Sales found EXACTLY what he wanted at an excellent price. I tell everyone I know to shop at Adams for the best used car experience in the region. I wouldn't buy a used car from anyone other than Shawn Adams!

Staff was knowledgeable and honest about the vehicle I was looking at, answered all my questions, and didn't pressure me at all. Buying from them was a pleasure. Quality vehicle, at a good price. I highly recommend them.

I have buying my cars from Adams Auto for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience! Shawn, Joe and Denny are great people to work with and always give the best deals! The cars are always inspected and clean before you drive them off the lot! My next purchase will sometime within the next 11-12 months, and I'll be going back to Adams!

It was a pleasure to work with Joe. He was not pushy and was easy to negotiate with. Some follow-up was required to determine the door code for the truck and this process was quick and easy, complete with shuttle service to work. I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely consider Adams Auto Sales for future vehicle purchases.

We didn't end up finding a car there but Joe was wonderful to work with and went out of his way to try and find something affordable AND reliable for our new teen daughter. Even though the car we wanted didn't work out we will definitely keep looking there because they were all so helpful. To note is that we live in Duluth and he knew this so made sure we didn't waste our time driving down if it wasn't going to work out--most appreciated!

I bought a nice used van here in August of 2018. I was pleased that they did a thorough mechanical check of it, washed it, cleaned the interior, and changed the oil. Shawn was very pleasant to work with and I hope to buy a car here again!
