Mountain side lodging, good location. Ski in and out pretty good, a bit of a walk from our unit to the slope.I was quite frustrated finding the bedding for the fold out couch, it ended up being in the ottoman. The pool was outdoors, which was both good and bad. It's a little cold to be outdoor swimming after skiing, but the temperature of the water was good. When I called to extend for a night they quoted me a price 50% higher than I had paid for the first two nights. They told me to call back in the morning when the supervisor was there. When I called back they were fully booked, so we had to leave before we wanted to.Nearby activities: Skiing! Slope was about 4 minute walk from our door, the gondola was about a 12 minute walk.

Ski in, ski out... awesome!! The room was cozy & clean. Staff was shoveling our little patio & door several times during blizzard . Downfall was having to drive to building w/ pool & hot tub. Miserable weather so we choose not to utilize pool or hot tub. Besides it was always busy with families w/children. We decided to let them have fun & no need for us to take up space in hot tub.Food & drinks: Food was hard to find after 6pm.. on Monday & Tuesday evening 1 place had takeout for pizza & wings until 9pm, wed - Saturday I think they were open & served their full menu until 9pm. Otherwise you'd have to drive 7 miles one way or 23 miles the other way for dinner & it's not fun driving in a blizzard.

Always love staying here for ski-in/ski-out, now with improved access to the Raptor Express (no more Bridge chair!!!). The only thing is the lack of glassware (it's all plastic) and it's not well insulated for sound, so there's bleed over from the rooms next door, but mostly it's cozy and a great deal for a ski trip.Rooms: Sink, mini fridge, microwave, no glassware or utensils.

I was impressed with the quality of the rooms for the price that my group paid. Everything was clean, and the bedding was trustworthy. I was not afraid of bedbugs or anything like that.As far as amenities, it was a bit lacking. There was simply not enough supplies to last us the five nights that we stayed. For example, there were only four forks for a group of four people. We had to do dishes at least once a day, but we also had to request more dishwasher pods. We also had to request more towels as we were only supplied with three sets. They were also doing construction by our building which they did not warn us about until a week prior. One morning we wanted to drive along the lake, but they had a huge crane blocking us from exiting the parking lot. It took them roughly fifteen minutes to raise the crane, and some other people certainly waited longer.Furthermore, I was not impressed with the quality of customer service. Even as a customer service worker myself, I found the workers there to be rude and not very helpful.Overall, this is a very solid place to stay for the price, but I wouldn t expect a fantastic experience either.

Management should allow their staff to be more accommodating to customer s situations, instead of going strictly by the book. We are with a wedding party, checked in very late and asked for a late checkout, but they quickly dismissed the idea, saying that they don t allow it on weekends. We only stayed one night. Paid $355 for a 13 hour stay.Caribou nearby did allow a late checkout for our friends staying there same night.

Will never stay here again, booked 3 nights this past week and did not have access to pool or any other amenities due to construction being done on gondola, the manager (Amanda) on duty told a flat out lie about the whole situation, failed to compensate and then proceeded to lie about the housekeeping staff not being there to assist with clean towels, however the housekeeping staff were outside the building we were staying in cleaning other rooms and we were able to get towels from them. My family has stayed here for years and also we ve booked rooms for retreats, will never be staying with Eagle Ridge again unfortunately.

Eagle ridge studio ski in ski out.Doesnt have ski in or ski out.You can not access the trails from these locations without walking a long way to get to a trail. All the original paths are no longer usable due to not being maintained. Don't expect to be able to ski in or out because you cant. What a rip off.Rooms: The beds in these room were very uncomfortable. The fold out was old and literally felt the springs in the old mattress. You can't possibly get any sleep on it.The main bed wasn't much better. They are worn out and need replacing. The building creeks loudly when people in the upper rooms walk.Very loud and hard to hear the tv.Do not stay in ski in ski out it will ruin your skiing trip. You can hear everything through the ceiling.

Beautiful place and views, clean and comfortable. 2 bedroom has a dishwasher and fully furnished. Table for 8. Overall a really good place to stay. Pool and hot tub open to everyone until 10 and adults until 11. The hot tub was nice and warm and the pool was really warm and comfortable. Pool is 5 deep at its deepest. Sauna available. We went for a couple days at the end of June through July 1st, great temps for being on the lake and hiking.Rooms: Only the living room has a tv but the rooms are clean and spacious.Nearby activities: Great location near lots of state parks and Lake Superior.Food & drinks: There are a couple of restaurants nearby; we didn t go.

Room was clean but felt a little dated. We did see a couple of spiders and spider web but it wasn't huge.Went during the summer so there were construction. Also not stroller/wagon friendly. Had to wagon down a dirt path and carry wagon up to the room.Had more of a motel vibe.

Eagle Ridge Resort Lutsen fulfilled all of our expectations! We were a group of 10 from the Chicagoland area up in Lutsen to ski. The ski-in/ski-out ability was amazing for our crew as we had six kids between the ages of 10-17. The condo we stayed in had enough room for us, and it was so nice to ski in for lunch and then get right back on the slopes! If we could put anything on a wish list , it would be to have at least a dryer for our wet clothes, mirrors in the bedrooms to be able to get ready while others are showering, and ice trays in the freezers. But, not having those would not deter us from staying there again. It was clean, fun, and an amazing trip! The kids loved the outdoor pool and hot tub, we all loved the gondola, and we loved the skiing!

Great place. Loved being able to walk downstairs and catch a run. The huge hot tub and heated pool were great. Awesome view. The area could use some better food. For being the Midwest, Lutsen is legit, and fun. I come from Big Sky and this place is worth hitting. It's not as crazy, by any means, but totally fun.

Resort is located in beautiful place in mountains, I was during winter and views were marvellous, ski lifts were ok and you could easily get out/in with the skis from your room. Room was very beautiful however there were no electric hot plate to cook on! There were microwave but no plates or cutlery provided! No decent cups either. There were no room housekeeping so rubbish after few days just stacking up. We had our accommodation at ground level and from 6am you could hear walking neighbours everyday!! Staff in the front desk were impolite in the evening (but nice in the morning).

Biggest complaint- no food or drinks in the pool area. Not just no glass, not just no alcohol, no drinks of any kind. I prefer to have a bottle of ice water available while having a hot tub soak, so that rule was very disappointing to me. When I asked why the rule is in place, the response was "Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the pool or hot tub due to the fact that the space is being shared with children.", with no clarifying follow-up.The room was not great. It was clean and had mostly adequate supplies. We had 6 people and luckily brought a few camping pads and sleeping bags just in case, because one of the pullout couches was broken and unusable and there wasn't enough bedding for both pull out couches. When I complained they provided a discount after checking the bed. The other pullout couch was typical- pretty uncomfortable. The king bed was good. For a room with ski in ski out, there was not good ski storage available, nor we're there many hooks or other storage for coats and things. You're basically paying premium prices for the location, not the quality of the room. It's just plain average.

Eagle Ridge Resort is a nice place to stay. My family stayed there for a weekend in July. During the summer, there was a laid-back feel to the area. Whille the alpine slide and gondola were running, they were never terribly crowded. I am sure there is more of a bustle to the area during ski season. The pool area and fitness room were fine. Our rooms were nice. The view out of our deck of the ski hill was excellent.

The ski in/ski out is nice so you don't need to park and walk. The maintenance people were friendly. The front desk people in the evening were not friendly or helpful. The room is rustic, but clean. You can easily hear your neighbor's conversations unless they whisper. It didn't snow while we were staying there, but there was so much soft snow in the parking lot that we got stuck twice with a Ford Explorer. Other trucks and SUVs also got stuck. Third day they finally scraped the drive area for us to drive out, which is when we left. The pool and hot tub are a distant walk or drive, so we didn't bother. Texting the front desk works better than calling. We wish we would have stayed at one of the resorts on the lake and drove to Lutsen for skiing. I'd rather hassle with parking than not have a nice room and good amenities.

We took advantage of their mid-week summer deal. As you would expect with a ski resort, there was plenty of summer construction going on. Overall the biggest hiccup we had was that they sent a text saying they would have s'mores supplies available every night. They ran out after the first night.Rooms: The rooms were recently renovated and in decent shape. For the bunk beds, one mattress was noticably more comfortable than the other.Nearby activities: The gondola ride and alpine slide were awesome. We rode the slide on our way out to the days next adventure.

I'm enjoying it here! Service is minimal and there might be no breakfast available (haven't completely confirmed that), but that's not a problem at all since there's a cafe and a pub nearby. The view is stunning and the rooms are nice. Ours has a little fireplace and a nice TV.You can get s'mores packs from the main office and they have a campfire by building A every evening so you can go roast some marshmallows! The pool and hot tub are outdoors and wow the hot tub is big!!

It's JUST ok. Kinda boring in the summer. Really far from anything. It's pretty here but nothing to do. Advertisements for free Chromecast in every room which was a great selling point since it's so far from things. Didn't work. Maintenance man says it never works. No alcohol in the pool is so lame. Having a beer after hiking all day would have been nice. The front desk works seemed confused both during check in and our second day; almost like they didn't know anything about the resort or their job. The stairs by our room were simply roped off by one string of caution tape, showing a drop onto a mini excavator.Hiking in the area is great but I'll never come back.

Great location, Mt. View rooms are a view of trees 50 feet from the porch. The shower had little water psi, if you have long hair good luck getting the shampoo out of it. Employee at the pool did not speak English and could not answer questions. Front desk Employees could not tell us what events or things to do at the resort other than pool and luge then pointed to the Minnesota guid pamphlets. The food at the resort was bar food and par. Bottom line if not for the location we would not come back

We enjoyed the ski in/ski out availability. The rooms are okay. The beds are TERRIBLE! Small and uncomfortable. Thin blankets. Coffee, filters, and creamer but no cups. The walls are SO THIN. We could hear everything around us and had noisy neighbors above us. With as much as we paid, we expected more. Why not get new beds and have ear plugs available? Ridiculous price for what we got. We were disappointed.
