I am so grateful to HomeTown Auto! I have a 2012 Land Rover and would easily be paying 3-4 times more for services if I had to take it to the dealership. I had an issue with the engine going into reduced power mode. Clint absolutely went above and beyond to troubleshoot what the issue was. He spent time researching on Land Rover forums and going over manuals. They were finally able to figure it out and get it fixed. Hometown is the first shop I've ever been to where I trust they're being honest and not trying to upsell me on services I don't really need. I completely trust them with all of our vehicles. HomeTown Auto has always been phenomenal to work with. They are professional and timely, flexible with offering loaner cars while they perform work on your vehicle, and I have never felt pressured or intimidated by any sales tactics to get you to replace or fix things about your vehicle you don't want. They do thorough analysis, give you fair pricing on the cost to fix it, and respect your decision if you decide against the fix. Oil changes come with a free overall inspection of the vehicle, which I have always appreciated. I have been going to them for years, and they have earned my trust for everything related to my vehicle. I definitely recommend!Services: Brakes, Oil change

These folks are the absolute best. I go out of my way to take my car here because they are always so kind and professional. I trust their knowledge and know they are never trying to sell me on anything. They always have a loaner car available if needed and their costumer service is excellent. They even texted me a few days after my service to make sure everything was running alright. The best!

I've been taking my vehicles to Hometown Auto for over 10 years. They are honest and helpful. Hometown gives me the small town feeling, where Pat, Clint and Todd have always been welcoming, informative helpful and honest. It's great that they offer a loaner car when work needs to be done on my car. Highly recommend them!

After spending 3 years bringing my Pathfinder back to the dealership to continually diagnose and "fix" my climate control without success, I finally brought it to Clint. They were able to diagnose and fix right away. HomeTown Auto is friendly, quick and efficient. Took my car here for the first time and it was such a good experience! Shop right now is contactless but I STILL felt like I got taken care of super well. I was able to drop off my car and have everything done to it and pick it up same day! Felt like they truly did care about the service they were doing for me vs. just another car in their shop. This is my second time using HomeTown Auto. They provide good service at competitive prices and are friendly. They seem to care about results as evidenced by their follow-up which is appreciated. My vehicles are aging and will need regular maintenance as time goes on. Hometown Auto is honestly the most and only trusted auto repair company I go to. Ive never been told anything but the honest opinion and never been pushed to do a repair that wasn't needed immediately. I always refer all my friends and family to them as they are not only honest but very fairly priced. I look forward to being a great customer for a lifetime! Oh and they give you a loaner car for free so you don't have to sit and always wait! Amazing!

Home Town auto is a terrific place to have my car and my daughters car serviced. The team is friendly, very knowledgeable and caring. Tim takes great care of his customers and they are not pushy.I trust their work and suggestions for items that need repair later on and the pricing is better than where I have gone in the past. We have recommended them to our friends and they make you feel at home, like you've known them for a long time.

I had them look at a used car I was considering purchasing. They were able to get me in the next day and gave honest feedback. They took time to speak with me on the phone about what they saw as well. To make it easier, they even provided a free loaner car. They were a bit expensive compared to other places, but maybe that helps cover the loaner car. It would also have been nice if they would give a report showing all the stuff they checked, etc. They did provide a quote to fix the things they found, but it would be nice to get a document showing the other things they inspected as well. Over-all, a little expensive, but good service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been going to Hometown Auto for several years and cannot say enough positive things about this shop. I have been to many different auto shops over the years but none compare to Hometown. I had an issue with my vehicle that needed to be towed, the owner literally left dinner with his family to meet me at the shop at 8 at night. They are stand up guys and shop. They also support the local community and truly take care of their customers.

Todd was so clear and helpful on the phone from the start, and continued to give me thorough updates as the emergency job progressed. I was charged fairly, and they didn't charge for labor when an extra fix was needed, which was kind! But the real reason I'm leaving this review is because when I came to pick up my car, Todd showed me the parts that were replaced, and how the bearings in one of the pulleys had broken. He seemed genuinely interested in helping me understand the work that had been done.As a young woman, my awareness is heightened during a simple oil change, much less an emergency breakdown. We're wary of being overcharged for work that's suggested last minute, or at the very least the assumption will be that we don't know a thing about cars. This was the total opposite. I felt welcome and cared about, and my Outback was back in action so quickly. Thank you, HomeTown Auto!

I've been a customer for about 10 years and have nothing but positive experiences with Jon and Clint. All professional when you get your car fixed here. The employees have a passion for making sure the job gets done and gets done right. Fair pricing and always prompt when fixing your vehicle. I recommend them to everyone I know. I won't use anyone else but them.

I've been using Hometown Auto for over 5 years. I had my wife's car in for service and ran across some unexpected issues. Clint and the team worked with me which allowed me to get everything back to 100%. They went above and beyond! After many poor experiences with other local auto shops I finally feel like I've found a place that has exceptional customer service, does quality work, and genuinely cares about the customer. My first visit to Home Town was driven by a check engine light turn and a dreaded "clicking" in the engine.. when I mentioned I have a lifetime power train warranty on my vehicle the guys at the shop were INCREDIBLE about getting a claim set up, getting the issue diagnosed, getting repairs approved by the warranty company, and getting the fix done. I got frequent, detailed status updates and Clint was really wonderful about taking the time to explain the problem to me and talk me through the work going on with the warranty company. I have never received customer service like that before and I am incredibly grateful for the work they did and the way I was treated. This could have been a horrendous experience for me just based on the issues with the vehicle, but it wasn't.. they did such a great job and I will not be taking my vehicle anywhere else again!Service: Engine repair

Friendly staff, but the last time they tried to sell me $3400 worth of repairs going strictly by the what the book says about maintenance needs. All I wanted to know is if my car was road worthy for a 12 hour trip. In the past they would look at my car...so I felt like they were just trying to sell services I may not need. Before that experience,things were cool. Prices reasonable.

My family has trusted Jon and Clint with our auto needs for close to ten years now. They do great work and I know they are looking out for what is best for me. I can't say enough positive things about their work and how they value their customers. As long as I own a vehicle I will trust them to make sure it stays on the road.

I stopped in the afternoon to see when they could do my brakes, and they got them done the same day! They even had a loaner car for me to use. They called me when they figured out just what I needed and what I didn't need and gave me the price over the phone. Very nice people to work with. I would definitely recommend them and will go back to them in the future. GREAT JOB EVERYONE !!

If you want HONEST mechanics, this is your place. I wouldn t trust my vehicles to anyone else. These guys treat you like your family when you walk in the door, and the prices are fantastic too. Free loaner cars is just one bonus they view as a standard way to take care of their customers. They go above and beyond with every encounter. Look no further, this is your new mechanic.

Brought my car into Home Town Auto for an oil change. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. They called me when my car was ready and informed me of a problem with my car that needed my attention. There was no pressure to have them perform any other work on my car which I have experienced in the past from other auto service shops. I would recommend them to friends.

Clint, Pat and crew were amazing!!!We were on the road heading to CO when I stupidly put unleaded fuel into my diesel truck.I can not tell you what a great group of guys work at Hometown Auto! They took my wife and I in, kept us fully informed of what the status, they were kind and just great to talk to.Our truck was fixed and we were on the road by the end of the day.They were fantastic! If I lived in the Twin Cities, I would take all of my car issues to them!!Thank you Clint and Pat and the nice gentleman that so patiently pumped the old gas out!You guys rock!!!Philip & Leanne

I went out to go to work and my car wouldn t start. My husband was able to jump it so we knew it was a battery issue. Called Hometown auto and they had my car in within 15 minutes! They even had a loaner car available so I could get to work. I even made it on time to work because of their quick service. I will always use Hometown Auto!Service: General repairs & maintenance

When I picked my car up to move out of the parking lot the hood of my vehicle wasn't closed all the way and tree branches were inside on top of my motor. Now what if someone sees that it isn't closed and decided to steal parts from my car.
