Worst truck road service experience of my life. They sent a not dry behind ears fella to fix airbag on my trailer, after 8 hours he gave up and was going back to his shop. I got my dirty coat on and crawled under trailer. Less than 10 seconds I found the problem. Wonder what it cost my company? This was a couple years or more ago. Today is 2/2/2024

Very good service professional right up in service found my problem with my dicey gentle AC unit within an hour and a half I called them on the 08 24 2021 and had my truck in the shop on08 24 2021 and done by 11:00 AM

Called Dave and discussed the repair I needed for my fifth wheel. Which was remove and replace 12 bolts and bushings in my double leaf spring Setup. He and I agreed it shouldn't take more than 2 hours to complete at $149 pr hr. unless they ran into any issues. I left at 7:47 am at 10:33 am Dave said they were wrapping up and it was ready. 3 hours. When I got there they said 3.8 hours and $800 plus. I complained about the rate wasn't what I was quoted and the owner / front desk lady charged me $600.00. I left upset. I called back and explained there was a mistake but was told off by the Owner/ front desk person. She also tried to tell me Dave quoted $200 per side. She wasn't on the callI was. And that is NOT what Dave and I agreed too. All in all the mechanics were top notch. The Owners in my opinion are crooked as they come. BEWARE.

My fiance and I are from Louisiana and came up to Superior, Wisconsin. On our way back to Louisiana we broke down on the side of I-35 RIGHT past the Lakevikke exit. We made it to Dakotas Trucking at 7am the next morning and we were greeted with friendly faces. Everyone was friendly and helped out. Being we are not from this area we were worried, but everyone was nice and the mechanic was very helpful. We are very grateful that we were able to meet and do business with these people. Highly recommend this business.

They are one shop that we will trust to repair our rig. They are thorough and makes sure the job is done right the first time. We get most of our repairs done here when we are in Minnesota.

They do great work and I might mention in the time frame given! The owner and staff are friendly and professional. I will be asking my boss to use them more for our trucks and trailers as it makes my job easier!

Great experience here. The shop was busy but they went out of their way to squeeze me in and get me back on the road. Reasonable rates, clean shop. I wouldn't hesitate to return when in the area if I need some maintenance or repairs.

Very friendly staff and Mike Felske is a really good mechanics service manager. Was really straight forward and knowledgeable on what's going on and very outgoing. I know some leave bad reviews but I've been to shops that don't have time to talk to the person and you have 4 others doing it for them. Bad mistake! I will be bringing my truck back to this location for service in the near future.

I had a six month old, $3200, turbo fail on a Mack, even though they were busy they got me in to get it done and even worked with Mack to get the turbo warrantied. Great customer service and excellent work. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Please be Carefully, before you go here, read this !!!They done nothing my truck, but I paid $753+$432 = $1185A week ago, I wanted to take my truck for DOT inspection, they found ABS module was bad and few things, they estimated that the repair costs close 5K dollar.I decided not to do with them, but I paid them $432.62 as They quoted that Just only for diagnosing.I took my truck to fix it, I got repaired it everything for other shop. Then I had to take my truck back to them just to have for inspection sticker.But my truck still on ABS light. I said you have to spend an hour to figure out.Dave who is the one I was dealing him, he called me Friday noon said the wheel speed sensor was bad we need to replace it.I said I just put that wheel sensor and it is new sensor. He said we get replace itThen Friday late he called me said we replaced that sensor but we still need an extra time by Monday morning, I said is okHe called me Monday morning 07:58AM, he said we figured out the issue and we fixed it is ready to goI came my self at the shop explaining to them you open the shop every day 0700 AM and you called me 07:58 how you spent extra another two and half hours from 0700 to 07:58 AM !?Dave said I don t know he kept silent. Ray he is the owner if the shop, came out and said we don t cheat Peaple, he was trying to convince me that hours are legitimate.Finally I found it out my part wheel sensor they used it for repair they didn t replaced itI asked them where is my part ? They said we thrown it out, I said I have to take it back to Freightliner where I bought to get refund itThe owner he became upset since I showed him the receipt of the part, he said I m giving you the money of the part but don t come back my shop, I said, I just only requested for you my part is that made you upset?No respect Over charge every timeCheatersIf you are able to find any other locations go thereYou don t deserve to be treated worthless, you work hard as Owner operator and how you make money is not easy. Don t waste what you earn to this shopThanksBelow the time they called me Monday morning and also I have what we discussed when I was at their shop as it recorded

I can't say THANK YOU enough to Ray, Dave and Nicole for their help getting our motorhome back on the road. That engine has not run that well in years. (hopefully not jinxing it) I'm guessing to work on a diesel motorhome is slightly out of their normal daily work load but they did it! GREAT people! It was great talking to their Cummins mechanic, (I think it was Ian) (very sorry if i'm wrong), he knows his 5.9 cummins engines. We feel very lucky to have found Dakota Truck. Last time I went here I was not satisfied. Service was not the issue but being quoted a price and then getting the actual price was nowhere near the quote that was given. Thursday February 21 2019 I took my truck to you guys. Asking for a simple clutch break and clutch fork job along with a PM and new air dryer to be installed. I was told my truck needed a new clutch when I knew it did not. I let you guys do my PM and air dryer. From the looks of it you guys didn t even do that right. Took my truck to mechanical perfection and just as I thought. Truck does not need a new clutch just a clutch break. You guys tried to take me for 6 thousand dollars and Ray will gladly shake your hand and lie to you just to get any money from you they possibly can. Shame on you. The way you doing business you won t last long. You won t ever see me there again dirtbags.

Very friendly, very fast, and very reasonable. Needed a trailer air line repaired, and I was done an out in just over an hour...which included their lunch break. 10/10 would recommend!

This shop is great. Came in for repairs that I thought were needed. The mechanic was very thorough and advised me that problem was stemming from an entirely different problem. Saved me money and got repaired correctly. A lot of integrity here. Smithing you don't see anymore of. Thanks guys!!!

When I am in Minneapolis area I use Dakota Truck. I've used them three times in two years and I am very impressed and satisfied with the work that they have performed. Knowledgeable staff, very reasonable rates, and nice people. I highly recommend them.

Very nice group of people. They took my truck in right away. Didn't take long to get it fixed. Offered a ride to & from the motel. Glad I came to this shop.

I took one of our dump trailers in for repairs due to the weld breaking for the lift cylinder - and a DOT inspection. We were informed that the front axle was bent due to the lift cylinder's weld braking - the weight of the trailer caused the axle to bend. I was quoted a price and told the axle would be a 3 week order. I approved the repairs and the axle. A few days later we received a call that they fixed the weld and that after further investigations - the axle was not bent. They had our trailer ready - and was thousands cheaper then the quote I approved. Thank you for being Honest -

We were here several times. Always had good experience. A friendly place, knowledgeable mechanics. Rates are decent. Repairs were done properly and in time.

I had hinges brake on trailer, called around places were 5-10 days out, these guys got me in Wednesday mid day all fixed up by Thursday morning, the hinges look way stronger than the cheap ones it came with, I feel like my old highschool girlfriend "larger in size" could do aerobics on these damn hinges" great work guys , much appreciated

We use this shop for our '07 Freightliner Columbia. Dave is the best and always helps us out. Highly recommend this shop.
