Forget for a moment that Preferred Auto Care is in my neighborhood. I would travel across the county to have Joe take care of my car. He listened to me, treated me with respect, finished the job quickly charged significantly less than the guesstimate he gave us, explained clearly what he saw and what he did, gave good advice for what I needed to look out for in the future, and had me back out on the road with no fuss. I can't recommend him highly enough.Service: A/C installation & repair

I took my 2013 Honda CR-V to Joe today because my brakes were screaming at me. He managed to fit my car in the same day even though this was the first time I'd ever been there. He gave me a reasonable estimate and the bill came in below the estimate. Good work and friendly service. I will definitely be going back any time I need work done.Service: Brakes

My sister had her old Dodge Caravan towed to Joe at Preferred Auto years ago. It was the fifth shop to see her van, all four previously said they fixed the issue. Guess what, it wasn't fixed until Joe worked on it! The repair wasn't that bad, bill was fraction of what others robbed her of and I've been taking my cars there ever since. He's so honest it's refreshing. Such a pleasure to work with!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

Not only did Joe fix my tire in record time, but he remembered did I mention that my spare went flat as I was driving there. I was on limited time during my afternoon break to go walk to the shop and pick up the new tire and when I got there I found out he had already put it on for me.Definitely remembering this service and absolutely going to return the next time I have any sort of Automotive issue. That sort of extra step is the kind of thing that truly makes a successful business.

We came to Preferred Auto on the recommendation of a friend, and have never been disappointed. I always feel like Joe has gone the extra mile, shoots me straight, and charges me fairly. If he can't do something, he will say so. My wife and I are very happy repeat customers!

Accommodating and honest service with modest prices. I had a wheel bearing replaced here for $240 after receiving a +$500 quote from Chet's Car Care in Madison. Joe was able to do the repair in 2 hours on very short notice too.

Great work and fair prices.Joe always gives honest and fair estimates. On several occasions he advised us to NOT to fix an item if it was minor (non functional or a safety issue) and can wait. I would definitely recommend Preferred Auto!

Needed to get the lock fixed on my SUV. They go it done in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable price. Plus, being right in La crescent I was able to walk back home after dropping it off. No need to bother family for a ride!
