*****USE THIS LOCATION AT YOUR OWN RISK, CERTAIN STAFF ARE VERY INCOMPENTANT; CHECK AFTERWARDS TO MAKE SURE THEY PUT THE PROPER AMOUNT OF OIL IN YOUR VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T IN MINE******This is normally the only Valvoline location I will visit; I normally come in the morning and have always had excellent service however today was terrible. I pulled in at 2:35 pm and they had only 1 bay open. 1 car in the bay and 3 others waiting not including myself.At 2:57 when I was next in line a worker named Hailey comes out and was rather rude saying the manager is about to go off duty and they cannot work on my car. I informed her how long I was waiting and how ridiculous this was to which then she basically proceeded to call me a liar and state I wasn't sitting there that long and that the bay was empty.I asked to speak to the manager; she then proceeded to tell me he is off duty to which I responded "You said he was about to be off duty, can I get the managers name so I can call tomorrow" she states "no you can't, just call back tomorrow" so I went inside and just spoke with the manager who was still on duty.I was informed the other manager was on the way and asked if I could just wait because I don't want to come back and wait another 30 mins which he said was fine, and I informed him of how rude Hailey was which he apologized for and said he would speak with her which he did.Got my oil changed; didn't get any of the other services from them that is normally included which is the wiper check; light checks; and them bringing my dipstick to show me the oil level after the oil change. This was concerning for me and so I went home and checked the oil level with my husband and you could not even tell there was oil on it.Proceeded back to Valvoline with my husband and explained the problem and showed them the dipstick the manager came out and looked at the dipstick and is using a flashlight in the middle of the day to try and see the oil on the dipstick be cause it is that hard to see and barely makes any wet spot on a paper towel, then proceeds to bring my vehicle into the bay and checks the dipstick again and brings it to me and i explained to her that its barely making a damp spot on the paper towel; she then proceeds to say that the oil is clear and that is why I cant see it.I left and drove my car to 2 separate repair shops that do oil changes firestone checked my dipstick and stated there was nothing on it; but they couldn't do anything tonight because they were closing; went to jiffy lube and the same thing was repeated little to no oil on the dipstick and they filled my oil up for me.I did call corporate and make a formal complaint; will hear back from them by next week hopefully. But will NEVER use this location again and sadly I advise if you do get your oil change here do so at your own risk and double check their work because it just seems like they are so incompetent.

This is the best Valvoline I ve been to. The workers are so helpful and kind. They will help however they can and go above and beyond. They helped me with my license plates and worked hard until they came off because I came in with an issue of getting my plates off. They worked hard until the problem was resolved even tho they could have sent me somewhere else. I thank everyone there for their hard work!

Everyone who helped me was super lovely! I think the manager was named Maria. They were super nice and efficient, everything was done quickly and well. And Lee made me laugh! 1000% will be back!

When I brought my car in, I had a great experience except for having to wait over 30 minutes to get my car serviced as one of the three bays was closed.

This location was not competent. They listed my car in their system with 120 thousand miles when called out and asked to change got a hand written sticker and told it would update in computer next time and was given a sheet of recommendations based off the high mileage. And then questioned tire pressure and was told I needed to drive a mile down the road. Called into CS who will send an update to car fax where they report service to for mileage correction and said thanks for letting us know. Go anywhere else.

The workers were very friendly, knowledgeable and all seemed to really like their jobs.... felt alot of good energy in their shop n who doesn't like that Went in for an oil change n there was a slight issue, but Maria came through for me, helped me out n I'm all good now. I would most definitely go there again in the future, also will recommend it to friends, family and strangers I

They stripped my oil pan.I wish i could give them zero stars.When i called customer care regarding the same, they took almost a week to respond and they denied their wrong doing saying my car has oil leak from before (which was from head gasket).I am not dumbI have masters in automobile engineering.I've requested the DVR video of the service, but they haven't been willing to share it, nor have they shown interest in personally inspecting my car."Please do favor for yourself and get services from somewhere else.

I did not feel comfortable with any of them working on my car. Left before having a tire rotation done. Not one employee seemed like they knew what they were doing. Very unprofessional.

The team did a great oil change. Honest and upfront about cost and life of the oil. They found my coolant running low and topped it off and offered some insight on doing routine checks. They gave everything a thorough once over since I mentioned I was heading out of town. Super friendly staff! I appreciate the professionalism.

I have been going to this location for oil changes and other services since I moved to the area in 2017. Overall, I have generally had good experiences here with minor issues for not having staff there during open hours and not having staff available to do certain maintenance activities. Those things can be overlooked. However, I took my car in for an oil change yesterday. Everyone working seemed polite. This morning I went to back out of my garage and heard a terrible noise. Get out and take a look under the car and see the shield is dangling down and only connected by one screw. I spent a good twenty minutes trying to unscrew the only thing holding it on. Ended up having to duct tape it on and drive back to get it fixed. Meanwhile, I'm very late for work. Get there and Nate is very polite and gets to work on it. He was not working the day before and I appreciate his help. He ends up zip tying on the shield. Apparently they techs from the day before forgot to tell me or make a note that i was missing all those screws. Hard to believe it has stayed on this long without them.Further, I found a socket under my car this morning which was obviously used for my oil change (covered in oil) and apparently left in my car once my oil change was complete. Totally unacceptable and shoddy work. I will never be going back here again. That is basic maintenance 101 stuff that got missed and I can not trust that they can safely work on my car.

staff were quick and kind, diverse workforce, and they were honest with me when there was a problem. they totally could have decided not to tell me there was an issue, but instead they had integrity and let me know. will definitely be seeing this location again in the future!

Service was good. Only 2 stars because the hours listed on gmaps are wrong. Needed an oil change before road trip, and opening hours were listed as 10am. Would have been there at 8am on the dot if the hours had been listed accurately.

Drove up at 6:35pm, there were 2 cars ahead of me. No one came out to greet or talk to me. They let in the first car, a few minutes later, they let in the second car, at 6:50, after the second car went in, Yusuf came out to tell me that I wouldn t be able to get in today. I said no, that s unacceptable, I ve been here waiting 15 minutes, no one came out to tell me, Zander then came out to reiterate the same thing, sorry they didn t see me and sorry no one came out to tell me. Got the managers card, so I can talk to them. This is the second time they ve done that to me at this location. The first time I just let it go. This time is the last time I go to that location. Very poor service, it s very sad because in general valvoline usually has quick and good service, just not this place.Service: Oil change

Can I just say I have used this Valvoline for years!! There staff is why I continue to come back. Hands down, I will never go to another place to get anything done. It is because of the customer service I recieve from the employees! All of them deserve a raise they are busy all the time. We walk so quick we forget the time and care they put into you and your car .Feeling very grateful for everyone of the staff tonight to make sure my car is running well for my family over the holiday weekend. Happy Thanksgiving to the IGH employees I appreciate you!! :)

Waited in line for 15 minutes with no worker, sign up and garage door half open. Watched an employee park, and 3 minutes later another employee came out saying they had 3 men and they needed to eat lunch, they needed another hour and 15 minutes. Funny thing is, I just served one of the employees and his girl a blue moon and kona at b52s just before I left, what was what 20 min ago. There was no customer service. I wasted my time.

They get zero stars. Long wait even though only one car per stall was there when I arrived, then I was waved to the third stall and watched two other cars get serviced before mine. I never got a receipt, they didn't reset my oil sensor which they used to do but they did give me a sticker with a 3,000 mile return date to get the oil changed again. When I reminded them I had synthetic oil put in I was told they wouldn't trust it for more than 3,000 miles ... I pointed out that synthetic oil is supposed to be good for at least 7,000 miles but was met with a blank stare. When I got home, I parked in my newly paved driveway. When my daughter left with my vehicle a half hour later I realized there was a large oil spot where the car was parked. My car has never leaked oil, ever. The car was used three times that day and I had three new oil spots on my new driveway. I'm going back tomorrow to have them "fix" the problem. We'll see. I wouldn't trust these people to wash my car correctly, much less change my oil ever again. Go to Paul's in Inver Grove Heights. They are extremely busy for a reason. Too bad, too. The Valvoline oil change place was once good. Now, not so much. They didn't even check my lights to see if they were working correctly like they did with the vehicle next to me. I didn't enjoy being called "boss" either. All in all, a terrible experience.Service: Oil change

I have as well as 4 others have had our cars not start after anvil change as well as thelast time they uga Duga ed the oil plug and now it won't come off I have to take it elsewhere and will never again 4eturn to this location. Ever!!!!!! Except to have them pay for the damaged oil plug they destroyed.

After an air filter replacement was put in, a mile from their location my car literally stopped while I was driving it. Kind of scary, thankfully I was just on a neighborhood road. Spent all day dealing with the fallout, getting it towed to a service station, who determined that something got into the system through the air filter change. Valvoline will take no responsibility for it. I'm out several hundred dollars in repairs, a day lost to towing nonsense, and the frustration of those at fault denying they have any responsibility. I would leave a negative star but can't stay away!!!!! A simple oil change teach your techs how to change oil properly. Then stand behind your work. Please fix my problem and I will change the review until then. Stay away !!!!!!!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Please beware - I went for a simple oil change, and they were unable to change my oil despite the foreign car serviced prior to me. On-top of them not being able to change the oil in my Chevy vehicle, they (as I believe) pulled the leads off my battery because I had no electrical power when I went to start my vehicle. It only then started up again once I informed them that I had installed a new battery 3 weeks ago. From my experience when my battery has died it has made a clicking sound and the inside car lights still come on. It did not in this case.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here and have been having regular oil change and some of their additional services done for over a year. The staff while young is energetic and professional, and always takes the time to be informative about the services and answer questions. I have not felt pressured at all and they always make efforts to honor coupons and give discounts as they are able. I also appreciate the fast service and only on rare occasion have i had to have a brief less than 10 minute wait.

This was my first time at this location. The staff was polite, had wonderful attitudes, and even told me about a part that is an easy fix for a ticking noise by my glove box. For only 15 minutes, I m willing to pay $20 more (than I pay at Chevrolet with a coupon), and I ll definitely be back! Thanks, Inver Grove Heights team!!

I had a crack in my gas cap. I was advised they couldn't do the oil change for "liability" reasons. Something along those lines anyways. He pointed me to the nearest parts store. I ran over there, got a new one and drove back. I waited about 2 minutes to get started and was out in about 15. I normally change my own air filters but when he suggested I change it I thought he earned my business. It certainly needed it. I dont remember his name but he appeared to be a supervisor. He was kindly helping the other employees and offering suggestions and sharing knowledge with the others.
