I went out of my way to purchase a vehicle at Dave's Auto. I was told it's a fair place for used vehicles. After purchasing a 2010 GMC Terrain which I was told was a great value by the owner, the son, and female associate. What they didn't tell me that soon after the battery would die, the back brakes would fail, the heater would go out etc at this point. I would've never bought this vehicle if they would have been upfront and honest with me, I would have purchased a different vehicle or went else where. I understand Minnesota the law in Minnesota which states you can sell vehicles without a warrant, I get that. They did pay for my battery, but I should be compensated for false advertisement, dishonesty and caring about money more than customer services or humans. Thanks for robbing me blindly and probably still laughing. Have a good day!

Shopped for a couple months for few different models and found by far the best price here, they were friendly and helpful. Vehicle was clean and no issues have come up after driving it all summer

Great place with a layed back atmosphere, did not feel pressured to buy. One of the few dealerships that actually gives you a honest description of the vehicle online so you know what to expect before you get there. All the trucks I looked at were very clean inside and out, also provided me with their inspection and history report. No complaints yet love my truck!

I m a single mother and I recently brought a 2013 Chevy equinox. On the out side it looks great but I paid in full all to only have my suv for maybe two months before I got told I need an whole new transmission. I d called and he talking about Minnesota laws. And the ppl that s leaving good complaints, haven t even brought a car from them but on here leaving anything more than one star it s beyond me. I wish I could leave no stars because they sell faulty cars.

I'm going with four stars for now because we've only had our vehicle a few days. Dave and his son were both really polite and welcoming while we worked with them. We bought our vehicle as is, but so far the only issues we've noticed they were completely up front about and we knew going into it. Extremely fair price.Still planning to do the smart thing and have it inspected, but we're not overly worried. Felt like an honest family business and not a shady used dealer. I hope that holds up.A random, and unrelated, plus is that the dealership has been there well over 50 years and is full of really cool memorabilia to check out while they do paperwork.

We had a great experience with Dave's Auto Sales. Dave was willing to meet us after hours so we could take a look at a vehicle. We bought an "as is" vehicle from him a month ago. Always have to carefully check out a used car, and this one looked great. No problems so far. Price was lower than the book. Next time I'm looking for a vehicle I will give him a call to see what he has.

My family came to look at a vehicle on Saturday. My sister who has no mechanical experience started it and could tell immediately there was something wrong with it. She had 2 mechanics who met her there to check it over and they found multiple issues. The one mechanic returned the key to Dave and informed him of the issues. Dave proceeded to scream at him in the building and then follow him out the door to scream at him some more in the parking lot. This all went down while my 4 year old nephew was present. Completely unacceptable behavior. Would not buy from here. Completely unprofessional.

Did not buy a vehicle from this lot but did deal with Dave when my Dad blew a tire outside his lot on 19 and needed the tools to change the tire. He hooked him up with a jack and tire iron! What a awesome guy, your good deed will not go unnoticed. Thanks so much.

Quality cars, fair prices, and very easy going people to deal with. Bought my last two cars from them with no problems, even come back every time for them to do the maintenance on them! Great family business!

If I could leave less than one star I would. Bought a truck and less than a week we went back wanted cash back because it needed 3k in repairs. He said as soon as it drives off the lot it's not his problem. He sold it to us under the condition it was a great running vehicle with no issues. DO NOT BUY FROM HIM!!! I have heard other very similar stories.

Beware, have your mechanic check out all his cars before you buy. If you check out his reviews below.. Most are fake to get his star rating up. Many did not even take time to write a review... Not even people reviewing but local stores.

My son came to look at a car that he really liked with his grandpa owners express the car was in great condition had no problems my son drove it home and While driving the car home a hose break having to call a tow truck and having it towed which was more money out of his pocket from a car lot that expressed it is what it is and didn t care because they got the money that they wanted for the car.. never believe a greedy sales person that s just looking to get money!

This scummy dealership sold me a car that lasted 24 hours before it stopped working. They said it has no issues, obviously they are lying. Do not buy from this place
