Let me start by saying there s not many diesel tech but we ve been going with them for aboutThree years plus not many people can work on diesel and actually do proper job every single time they re awesome at communicating. If you have a business, they actually give you a discount as long as you have all your trucks registered to them they re always beyond helpful and take their time to explain what s going on what the best Solution they have always worked miracles with timing, especially knowing that we re a business squeeze us in as fast as possible and always give us a realistic timing on when our trucks will be ready to go they check every single part of the truck not just what they think or what we think they take the time to check all the extra belts and whistles and give us their true recommendations. We are honestly grateful. And thankful. Specially, To our rep(juker) that helped us he is amazing I know that personally as a business I will continue to go to them And I would highly highly recommend anyone that has Diesel trucks Or very expensive trucks and you don t want to be taken advantage of to definitely go to this shop and give them your business . May

Derek and the team at TGK are fantastic to work with! I've been taking my car here for the past 10 years for service and repairs and have had excellent, timely and professional customer service every single time. I've watched this shop and the company grow and expand and have been impressed at how they have added even more value with new technologies. They've even sent me pictures of engine parts so I can see what needs replacing, etc. So impressed at their transparency and trustworthiness! I highly recommend TGK!

Honest, knowledgeable and EXTREMELY HELPFUL staff. This is the type of place you look for when your trying to find mechanics that love working on cars and want to help and satisfy customers. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else for mechanical work.

Great work on my 2009 Pontiac Vibe! Diagnosis was right on. Quote was accurate. All equals trustworthy work, not something you can always find in automotive repair. Will be using them again for my other vehicles.

The place was clean! It had coffee and snacks for customers...just like the dealers . The staff was nice, professional, and honest. I've always taken my car to the Toyota dealers as long as I can remember. Gave TGK a try and I will go back!

Excellent service, professional staff and nice facility/lounge.Had my oil changed, tire rotation and inspection. Service was quick and affordable.Service was so good I went home and brought my Mishimoto oil catch can to them for installation on my truck, same day

The employees always go the extra step to make sure they take care of you. D.J and Derrick have always taken the time to see that you are taken care of and your vehicle gets serviced the right way. They went out of their way to get me to work when I needed a ride. I will be a lifetime customer.

Great shop, love their reports. Lacks communication as they don t call you or update on status or discuss any items on their report.Yesterday i picked up car, washer fluid was empty - not caught by shop. Had coolant fluid changed, was low when I checked this morning. They need to work on those details.

Great Experience! Took my car to TGK Automotive to make sure it was ready for the upcoming winter. Only spent about 90 minutes waiting while the oil was changed and they did a thorough inspection. Pleasant staff, comfortable waiting room. And now I'm confident that I should have no negative automotive surprises this winter. Reasonable price for the synthetic oil change and I was off and running quickly!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Wiper blade installation, Oil change

I'm sorry but I have to sever ties with this business. my middle daughter needed a new engine. TGK, hugo quoted 8K. less than 24 hours later, went up to 12K. Another reputable Hugo auto repair place did it for around 9K.Finally had enough when my youngest daughter spent $1200 on "all things" oil related only to have "check engine" light go on. Went back to TGK-Hugo and they could not figure out where the "new" oil leak was coming from and were really only guessing. Of Course, $1800 more and they will drop the oil pan and replace oil pump amongst other things. Again brought back to a shop I have been working with for over 20 years and for $25 and a free loaner, Matt said there was a small leak he found by the valve cover gasket but was no real emergency. Check engine light has not gone off since spending $25 as opposed to TGK.These kids aren't made of money and I, unfortunately have heard from other reputable repair shops that they have had customers come in with similar stories about this company. Too bad, because I like to patron businesses in our neighborhood.Glenn Lisowy

Have had them do multiple repairs over the last 10 plus years and always 5 stars. The last 2 times in for misc. maintenance I can only give 1 star at best. Incomplete work requiring return visits and the prices are so high. Quoted me $3300 for struts, got it done at another local shop for $1200 less plus free oil change. Seems like since the family sold it to the corporation, things are not like they were. Appears many new staff replaced several long time employees I enjoyed working with.

Engine in my car had blown up. Brought it to TGK automotive in Hugo, Minnesota. It took a month to find the first engine installed and everything and then they found the engine was faulty so it took another 2 months for them to get an engine and install it. But while I was waiting for those three months anytime I had questions, comments or any concerns. If I called the answered and they were very knowledgeable of everything. I am happy with the results and would definitely be coming back again

The crew is always helpful, honest & prompt. I have all 3 of the family vehicles serviced there, and get my tires there because the price is right & the warranty has bailed me out several times.

Always super friendly and very informative with pictures and explaining why service needs do be done . I will never go somewhere else always out within an hour and keeping you up to date when your waiting do your car to be completed .

TGK got my truck in on short notice and did a superb job with an oil change and tire rotation. They are very efficient and have a nice customer waiting area with beverages and snacks.

TGK discovered that a part needed for repair was still under warranty, and so the repair was free! TGK is honest, and they do good work.

Great service and great people. Technician went into details about my vehicle and what he did and gave recommendations on what he saw that isn't needed to be repaired but will eventually due to ware and tear.

Staff was very friendly and kept me in the loop as to what needed to be done. Went over the bill very thoroughly with me. I would definitely go back there.
