My first time at Swedish Motors for service for my Volvo XC60. Excellent experience. Waiting room was comfortable, friendly & knowledgeable receptionist, and service was done by Volvo experts. Great Volvo service at a great price!

I ve had my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance as well as installation of Volvo s trailer hitch specifically designed for the current generation XC90. The latter is a complex installation and Swedish Motors did a perfect job. Service has been excellent along with fair pricing. I ll be back!

We have had multiple Volvos serviced at Swedish Motors, and we re always extremely happy with the service, transparency, and communication. We trust them completely, and it s nice to not have to worry about being taken advantages of in these situations. They are always very open with their recommendations and never push you to do things. We won t take our Volvos to any other shop.

I d give six stars if that was an option. Justin and his team have kept my 2005 V70R in great shape for 14 years and counting. I trust them for excellent results and honest communications.

Swedish Motors always makes my car run the best it can. All work is discussed upfront after a thorough inspection, so you know exactly what you re getting done. If you have a Volvo, and you want excellent service, Swedish Motors is where you should go.

The receptionist, whose name I sadly cannot remember, was ever so helpful and clear in her communication about what my car needed and squeezed me in on the same day when they realized I needed a new battery. This was great because I live 100 miles away and was only in town for the day. I always like going to the shop to hang out with the dogs, to look at the used Volvos they have on the display floor And to talk to the receptionist. Again I m sorry I can t remember your name

If it were possible to give negative stars to this company I would do it. I had my "83 Volvo towed to them to replace the engine. Despite repeated phone calls over months of waiting I never got an answer of the status of the car. They didn't replace the engine, but did dismantle the front of my car. When I arrived to pick the car the parts were scattered all over the shop floor, untagged, some in boxes, some not. Some parts are missing. They have essentially created tons of unnecessary hours to repair the car. I have an estimate for a 60 hour repair bill from a competitor to repair the damage they have done not including the parts that are missing, which likely will be difficult to replace.I am 69 years old and in my life I have never sued anyone. I have turned this case over to my an attorney and we are taking them to court. Stay away from these guys. They are the worst I have ever encountered. As I later learned, the owner was fired from the local Volvo dealer for good reason.

Very friendly staff. Very knowledgeable mechanics, and a couple of adorable dogs to boot.I have been a regular customer here for quite a few years now and Justin, the owner, and his capable staff have always come through for me. Might not be the most affordable in town, but if you have a Volvo and like taking care of it, it's really hard to recommend anyone else, including the dealerships. They are fully capable of doing everything the dealerships can and then some.If you are concerned about the service costs, my personal experience has been often when I have done a pricey job elsewhere to save some hard earned cash, I have had to bring it to him to either correct or find out I didn't need that job in the first place. And a few instances where some predictive maintenance would've saved me the heartache of another big repair bill.Long story short, it's cheaper for me to go to Swedish Motors than go somewhere else and then come back here.

I had heard about them from a fellow Volvo owner- so scheduled a minor repair to check them out. I had some difficulty finding them back behind other businesses, but once there, was very clean and people were friendly. The service was on time and quickly done (at my request they had already ordered the parts necessary and were ready) The price is never cheap, but considerably less than the dealership. I referred a friend whose older Volvo had some expensive service elsewhere and they too were pleased. I will get all my services there in the future- my Volvo has close to 200 K miles but so far so good, and I want to keep it that way.

Justin's been looking after our '09 S40 for quite a few years. His shop does a great job; works with us on timing, cost & planning of repairs and does good work.His shop seems very clean & professional.Great spot for your Volvo!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Battery, Oil change

I appreciate the attention to detail with oil change on my car.The tech, Shaun did a very thorough and professional job explaining what he found on my S60 T6. Explaining what he recommends and why it should be done sooner, rather than later, like timing belt. But he also pointed out couple of lesser preventative maintenance things, which I'm going to have done.Thanks Shaun for the great customer service!

His service far exceeded my expectations and his pricing, well more than fair or I would not have come back with my own car! My experience has been excellent in every way. Tidy shop run by a friendly Volvo expert. My 2007 XC70 now runs like new. Swedish motors has earned my loyalty. It is a long drive for me to visit but worth it. Great shop dog too!
