This gentleman took care of my car for a half of a year while I got my finances together to fix my car. He took care of my car for all of those months and was very affordable on top of doing a wonderful job for me. My control arm was extremely bent and should have been replaced but he put his labor into doing everything he could to help me not replace it. He saved me money and the car drives very well even with the control arm I kept that he helped unbend himself.He is not going to wash your car for you or do any of that extra stuff that does not matter but he will take care of you where it counts, your pocketbook and actually fixing the issues your car has once and for all.Thank you for all that you did for me Brian and all of your hard work and time spent on my 2012 Passat. You do not specialize in these type of foreign vehicles but you got the job done and I am forever appreciative. God Speed.

Brian and assistant are thorough in all matters concerning my 2005 Impala very friendly, accommodating offer reasonable labor rates. Brian is the best! My family has been going to him for about 5 years now and he never disappoints. You won't get better prices or service anywhere else. I went to my dealership and they quoted me $800... Brian did it for $150 and I haven't been back to my dealership since!

Honest and Fair. Not words usually associated with mechanics, but true of Brian. I got lucky in finding him. He's busy because he's very good and well worth it. He'll treat you with honest prices and honest work. He's a modern day, modern talented mechanic, with very old school sense of service to his customers. If you're on the side of the road, have your beast towed to Hopkins Auto Service and call Brian. He'll take care of you--in a GOOD way!

Left my car out in the open of lot with windows down while raining. Pretended like he checked the issue and wasn't going to tell me until the day after or even at all. I know this because I left something in that car and went back to retrieve it. Noticed this occurence then went into the shop, told him what I saw and he basically said he got so busy he forgot and acted like it was acceptable. No service from me anymore

Recommended by a member of our Board 5 years ago for some routine work on a van we were taking across the country (taking 18&u athletes to an event). By far the best service we ve received. Very honest and well explained. Brian is sincerely one of the nicest people I know, and also patient and polite - a rare find in mechanics! The prices are very affordable - I ve had to ask sometimes if this is everything because the cost is lower than expected or what Brian originally estimated. We ve always a positive experience. The newer mechanics working there are also very nice so they re learning by example how to keep your customers and earn more. We ve used Brian s services ever since - both for business needs and personal vehicles. You don t come by places like this often!

Brian is the gentleman that worked on my car, he is very polite and knows his stuff. The work was done the same day, at a very affordable price. I highly recommend this shop to anyone that is tired of being ripped off, and tired of dishonest mechanics.

Brian is an honest and dependable mechanic. I have recommended Hopkins Auto to a number of friends and they all feel the same way. He does a great job, is affordable and makes sure the job is done right and it is done when he says it will be done.

Honest, efficient, and experienced- He has been our mechanic for years. He would never take advantage of someone because their lack of knowledge, in fact I have observed him taking extra care with seniors and women making sure they understand.I would recommend him to anyone, with any type of vehicle.

Friends have been going to Hopkins Auto for years, not me, I would bring my Honda and Acura vehicles to nearby Honda dealer. I decided to try a local shop after my friend said they just had a similar service at Hopkins Auto (which I needed soon) and told me how affordable it was. I was impressed. I stopped by Hopkins Auto and Brian (owner) talked with me even though I had no work for him. I decided to have that service done and now he has done oil changes, CV axles all the way up to the 105K Acura/Honda service (timing belt with water pump, hydraulic tensioner, bearing pulleys and coolant flush). I also asked him to do the serpentine/drive belt, rear diff service, transmission service, transfer case service and spark plugs) and my car is running perfectly. I also need this service on my other Acura and I will certainly use Brian at Hopkins Auto. The work was done on time and for the price he quoted. NO surprises like the Dealer always had waiting for me at time of paying for the service!

Always gives an honost opinion on what needs to be done after doing a diagnostic of your vehicle. Very reasonable prices. I recommend him to everyone that needs work done on their vehicle. Best mechanic around!
