So grateful to Jack and Don s! We were coming into town to visit family for the weekend when our alternator when out just outside of Hibbing. They were realistic with us on the likelihood of having it repaired over the weekend but when we called at the end of the day to determine how we may need to alter our travel arrangements they let us know the repairs were done! From the tow to the repair the cost was reasonable and the service was excellent. We were able to get back on the road and home safely!

Best people I've ever met in my life loving compassionate honest fair there when you need them and have a heart as big as the universe they will do anything to help anyone as long as they're true and honest and try to do the best they can

That is so much not right. If you know cars u r okay if not this company is not right. I am so sorry to be involved with them . They gave me results that were wrong and I am so sorrowful. It should not have been. Was told after 8 days it would be expensive and take weeks. A joke. I am so disappointed

I was there over a year ago & was still in fear of the pandemic for personal opinion and health reasons. I honestly regret taking my anxiety out on them. You guys really did not deserve that bad review at all. You did nothing wrong, i did. I have since apologized, and you guys continue to go out of their way for us and give us the same great service as before. I am very grateful to have a great neighborhood family business that does not hold a grudge when a customer is in the wrong. Thank you, you guys for being there and serving us well.

Excellent service along with great shop rates!! By far the best customer service I've ever experienced, they even called a few days later just to check up and make sure everything is still running well! 12 out of 10 recommend!

They were able to get my vehicle in for a repair in 2 days while I was vacationing up north. I called multiple other places and they all had longer wait times so I was very appreciative and relieved that they were able to get me in so quickly!However, the total was 20% higher than the estimate given to me over the phone for book hours. Not a huge deal but it was surprising since I only had a part swapped that I already had. I thought book hours were what you charged for a job and a good/fast mechanic could get it done in less time and make more money per hour for the shop while a slow/busy mechanic might take longer and they make less per hour (for the shop).Again, not a huge complaint, and maybe I'm wrong, but that was the only downside. They did help me which was awesome and I'd recommend them and go there again if I was in the area!Update: Their attempt to make things right was enough for me to change my review to five stars.Service: General repairs & maintenance

No need to look anywhere else. Flat tire about an hour past International Falls middle of nowhere. Able to get the spare on but still had to make it back to Chicago. Everything else closed on Saturday but these folks Really saved our bacon! They installed a used tire on my 2019 Ram 1500. They were friendly and fast! Got outta there for less than $100. Really great people!!!

Jack & Don's has always been my go to for having used tires mounted and balanced and if I'm in need for used parts. They have some of the best customer service around

I cannot say enough good things about Jack & Don's! I was in a really tough spot with some big engine repairs that needed to be done, and everyone there was so kind and patient with me. Even though they normally don't do repairs that intensive, they made an exception for me and truly saved me. They were great at communicating about the progress of the repairs and worked to keep the price at a level that I could afford. My car is in great shape now and I will definitely come back to them for future repairs and check-ups.Service: Engine repair

Very fast service here. I bring my Ford E450 shuttle bus conversion here, and the owner (Mike) is very knowledgeable and hands on. They always use good quality replacement parts and are honest about what needs to get done.

These guys were so friendly and professional! We have been on vacation and the brakes went bad on our old dodge tuck. We pulled in and they looked at it right away, fixed the problem at a very fair price. Great guys! We were so appreciative of their time and work. We greatly recommend them

Just want to give a shout out to Jack & Don's to say Thank youAs someone who is always on the road and never has time to plan for anything- especially for things like oil changes or funny noises. It was lucky for me that I found such a place !Not only did I get my oil changed but got the noise fixed too ( needed new shocks)For everyone else , reasonably priced for the area, nice people, and I'm back on the road feeling confident I'll make it back home. Thanks again

Very skilled crew. Jack & Dons take care of all my vehicles. Always let me know what the issue/cost will be. No surprises. Very fair and affordable. Vert attentive service..In this self service world, they are STILL full service at the pump

Yesterday my van broke down on side of road & it was towed to Jack & Dons late afternoon. They were kind enough to look at it right then & smart enough to figure out my problem immediately. I feared that they wouldn't fix it because the time was getting into the early evening, but to my surprise they jumped right in and got to work. My MAJOR PROBLEM was figured & completed within 60 minutes (great mechanics that know what their doing)!! I was so grateful it was only a hose. Then my next biggest fear was price. I was shocked to learn that it was only $150... They were extremely AWESOME from start to finish. They were honest (as a female they could've taken me to the cleaners), informative, & the atmosphere was very friendly (while waiting). I was almost upset they were done, because that meant I had to leave. That was the first time in my life that I actually enjoyed hanging around in a waiting area. GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT PRICE$, GREAT SERVICE. I will be back! Sharon (Bon Safety & First Aid).

Always let me grab whatever I need off my 99 Durango, no questions asked. Usually have to remove whatever part you're looking for, but there are 7 or 8 compatible vehicles for me to chose from and unlike other salvage yards, they will give you discounts for removing parts yourself.. They also do great work in the shop. I've had many tires changed and repaired with no issues afterwards. Overall great people, great place and most importantly, great prices! If you need a used part off of a vehicle or if you need tires, new or old, check this place out.

I have gone to Jack & Don's many times over the years for many different vehicles, and parts. I called about finding a steel rim for my Chevy HHR, and although they did not have one they still looked for 2 days to try and find me one, and even offered to look elsewhere for me. Thank you Jack & Don's for your commitment to your customers, and for always having a smile and kind word when customers come through your door.

There's just no service station like it! They pump your gas, check your oil, wash your window and they offer repair services as well. Nice people there!! Friendly and helpful. Why would anybody want to get out of their warm car and get their hands cold and stinky when they can just pull in and say "fill-er-up". AMAZING!!

I have known these guys for a long long time. Heartbroken at what just happened with the fire. Such a miracle they saved the shop.....look at all those tires. Michael is one of the greatest mechanics I have ever known. His quick thinking by closing all air off into the building while firefighters were on their way was brilliant. Hibbing will sorely miss this wonderful family business until they are able to fully reopen. I am in tears, look at this photo. I'm coming to help.

I accidentally locked my 2 year old son, keys, phone and purse in my car while stopping to get lunch at McDonalds in Hibbing. After trying to break in ourselves to no avail, the police called Jack & Don s for me and Mike responded immediately. With in minutes he had the doors open and my son out with no damage to my vehicle. AND after all that he wouldn t accept any payment. He told this stressed mama not to worry about it and wished me well. Very very thankful for Jack & Don s speedy service and especially grateful for Mike s kind and serving heart. 100% recommend Jack & Dons!

Great service and repairs stand behind everything they do or sell.Family owned and operated has been as long as I remember and I'm 52!!! Fast efficient reliable even on towing in the middle of the night!! All around awesome family and service!!!

What can I say? I called them for locking my keys in the car and they arrived a short time later. On the call I wanted to make sure they could open my car. They said they had the tools. Well, turns out they don't. After spending half an hour prying on the door and trying to figure out a solution the guy said there's nothing he can do for me. I said thanks anyways. He then demanded something for coming out. I thought, well you didn't do anything for me and now you want $20. God I love America. That was exactly why I tried to make sure on the phone that they could open it. All well. He probably needed it more than me. God bless him.

I have had a few dealings with Jack and Dons and have had nothing but the very best customer service. I originally met these guys when my vehicle began to smoke/steam in the drive thru at a local fast food place. The guys came over and helped me very fast, letting the engine cool down and then drove it to their shop to save me from having to pay for a tow. They then inspected the vehicle and discovered that the person I had bought it from had been less than honest when selling it to me. J and Ds called this man and made him repair all the problems! J and Ds went so far beyond what they had to to help me!! They even asked to inspect it after it was repaired to make sure it was done right. I feel completely safe with this company and they have my business from now on. You couldn t find a better company to deal with, especially for women who don t know a lot about vehicles. Very happy with the service!

Searching for a rim for a spear tire. For a 2005 vehicle aluminum rim. Jack & Don's Service was able to complete the task effortlessly. I would use their service again also recomend them to anyone in the Arrowhead region of Minnesota
