Saved $100!!! I went into the shop to fix my power steering. I had the part. I just needed to have the car raised to get to the area where the part needed to be installed. I dropped off the car. I walked a block to eat. After eating, I came back to get the car. To my surprise, they charged me $100 less than the quoted price. That included the charge for a part and labor! Where does that happen? They have both my praise and repeat business!!!

AA Auto is the best. They do great work and always go above and beyond. They treat their customers with kindness and respect. I have been taking my cars there for many years and will continue doing so. Tracy and Loren and their staff are amazing.

Lost my heat in early Feb. They took it in the very next morning, even giving me a ride to work and picking me up after work. They did a fabulous job and was treated very well. Will absolutely come back if I every have any other issues. A rare find these days!

AA Auto will forever be my go to place! They are extremely reasonable as far as price. Also their customer service is top tier! Doesn t feel like business at all, their atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. My husband and I have used AA auto since moving to Hastings in 2020, numerous times and they are amazing. They are very efficient, fairly priced, and extremely honest. They will never try and fix something on your vehicle that does not need replacing/fixing. Their honesty and good hearted nature is very refreshing for a car repair shop. I always get good service for good value. I ve been coming here for years-probably at least 10.I had a serious issues a few days ago and they told me to bring my car in right away and I was fixed and done in 40 about minutes I was totally amazed and grateful! I went in for a repair on my alternator and the next day my car wouldn't start. I called the shop and the owner personally came to where I was and jump started me, told me to come to the shop and put a brand new Interstate battery in my vehicle for free. Hands down best shop I've ever been to.

AA Auto is great to work with. I am lucky enough to have only need basic maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) but if I had a larger service need would have no reservations bringing my truck for repairs to AA Auth Tech. Another positive is scheduling, didn't have to wait a week or two to get in...they got me in next morning.Great shop and thank you for taking care of us!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have had my vehicle there a few times and all I can say is that they are fair, honest and they get the work done and do it well. It isn't often you can say you have enjoyed taking your vehicle in for work, but they really do a great job! Customer service is top notch! I had to bring my car in twice to AA Auto because issues I originally brought in for was not fixed and new issues popped up after 1st visit. Of course each time new issues were found. In the end it cost me thousands of dollars(almost 3k to be exact) and the new issues that popped up after 1st visit were still not fixed. I gave up and took it to another shop. I had to pay $450.00 to get the issues this shop caused fixed. The most recent shop even told me AA was negligent and should contact them for a refund. I'm not going to bother based on previous reviews and life being too short.It was painfully obvious they did not take the time to test drive after my car was serviced to make sure issues were fixed or they would have known each time issues not fixed. They are also obviously either over worked or just didn't care to check their work in regards toputting parts back properly after repair.The owner the few times I talked with him was short and rude. He clearly is not a people person and seems to pride himself on that with signs in his shop boasting of it.I will say the reason for 2 stars was for the lady at the front desk(I think the owners wife). She was incredibly pleasant to work with and very much on top of things. She must have the patience of a saint. Also, they had a dog there on my visits, which I loved, since it added a personal and sweet feel.I'm shocked at all the great reviews. Perhaps they only give great service to newer cars or certain types of people. My experience at AA Auto was an expensive disaster.

What I thought was a bad alignment job that had recently been done at another place, turned out to be a potentially hazardous problem that the other place missed all together. AA took me out into the shop, showed me and made sense of the problem. Quickly got me a fair quote to fix it, got it done and got me on my way. This place is wonderful. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. My car was fixed in a fast and effective manner. They explained everything to me and I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of because I am a woman. I highly recommend.

I was concerned about a weird rattling noise in the front driver side of my car. They got me in the day I called, which was super convenient. They begin looking at on my vehicle as soon as I arrived. The mechanic took me over to show me what he found to make sure he was checking for what I brought the car in for, and to help me understand what it was that he found. He explained that he had tested the struts, tested to make sure there was nothing loose on the body or engine, and driven it around a bit to listen as well. Turns out it was just a heating block plug-in that had come unclamped and was rattling around. He had to have spent at least a half hour on the vehicle. I went in to pay, and they said there was no charge. I really appreciate how thorough, honest, and efficient their service was. Hastings folks, this place is one of the good ones.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Short and to the point. 292 days with my vehicle for an engine swap. After not properly installing, diagnosing and tuning the motor, I came to pick it up and tow it to another shop. Was supposed to be kept inside (nope), dropped garage door on the cab, didn't tell me, luckily I saw it before it left the lot. Didn't save parts from old motor as I asked. Left shop damaged and not running along with $1000 damage to cab roof. Bad place.Service: Engine repair

This place is an absolute joke. Complete lack of customer service. Told me to bring in my truck at 10:30am, the following day I had to call and ask about it. The day "just got away from them", "things happen", I"should be more understanding".I was told that they try to make all their customers happy, but since I was not that I need to take my business elsewhere.How dare I I expect them to hit service times they gave, or at least a heads up if "things happen" that delay it.Don't waste your time on these people, the customer service is garbage. Try Tim's or downtown auto.Service: Engine repair
