Purchased a set of 35x12.5R20 Toyo A/T tires here today. They had them overnight and squeezed me into their tight, busy schedule for today 1-9-2024. I appreciate the great customer service. And your facility is top notch. Ill see you again soon!

These guys were vacation savers. On our way back to Michigan from our vacation out west, we broke a leafspring on our travel trailer... They were able to overnight the part and squeezed us into their already busy schedule.They were honest, professional and had us back on the road for a very reasonable price. I am a full time rv'er who had a strange intermittent noise related to my brakes on my F150. Another repair shop in Bemidji couldn't find anything wrong. Jerry was awesome and got me right in to diagnose the issue. He was great at listening to me try to describe the noise and the severity of the issue. After a test drive they determined that a bolt was missing from the front right caliper and the noise I was hearing was it rubbing on the rim. Never had that issue before? They replaced the bolt for free and sent me on my way. Awesome job. Thanks again guys.

Jerry was very professional and helped me set an appointment. When I came in they checked my car s transmission fluid level which requires taking off the tire. About a half hour later they were done and as I went to pay, he said No Charge . I was so surprised.Honesty and great service are difficult to find sometimes, but it is nice to know that you can still be pleasantly surprised.Thanks again Southside Auto!Service: Auto maintenance

We cannot speak highly enough of Jerry and his very professional team. Complete rear brake overhaul, parts shipped in, the following day we were on the road again within 4 hours. This place is awesome! I have the most expensive car of my life and good vehicle service is as, maybe more important, to me than medical treatment. They have been the only service provider for me other than the very first 1000 miles or so when I returned to the dealer. I appreciate their service, courtesy and attitudes!

Jerry was so nice and helpful to me. I needed brakes on my truck and he worked with me to make arrangements to get it done and I not miss any work. I can not say anything bad about this place. I was in town for about 10 months and I just loved taking stuff there everyday to get fixed. They went out of their way to get it done for the pipeline.

Jerry and the rest of the crew at Southside are just great! Service is excellent and prompt. They really go above and beyond to make sure the vehicle you're driving is safe and running as it should. And to top it all off, they have fair and competitive prices. I've always felt treated with honesty and integrity. It's nice to have a place you feel you can trust to keep your vehicle on the road and running right.

Always great. Have brought my car there several times. They did my diagnosis for no charge. Jerry even did my vacuum hose and then told me my MAF sensor was bad and that he replaced it for nothing. GREAT shop and great work. Nicest shop i have ever been in also. Bringing there to get power steering fixed in 2 weeks again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Jerry has always been very accommodating when it comes to servicing my vehicle. The quotes I am given are reasonable and have never been asked to pay more. Same day scheduling for oil changes without the hassle of having to wait in line at a "quick lane" oil change that is not so quick! Mechanics are very knowledgeable and personable and they have been there for years! Great service with a smile! Highly recommend!

On very short notice, I called Southside Auto as I was limping into Grand Rapids with a smoking vehicle and pulling boat. I'm so impressed with how they took us in, even though they had plenty of other vehicles to work on, and got up on the road within a day. Excellent job and a fair price. Outstanding service! 10 stars! Jerry is very honest and straightforward. He has helped me decide what is and ISN'T worth fixing many times. His staff is efficient and thorough. I haven't been to any other mechanic for over ten years. I've only owned vehicles past their prime (150k+ miles, rusty). He and his staff gladly took whatever I brought in. I had a 93 Pontiac sunbird that I couldn't get the driver's door open. Imagine trying to get a date in that! I brought it in for other minor repairs, and Jerry fixed the door for me free of charge! I bought a F150 with a bad engine. I towed it to Jerry, and he found me a used engine with a warranty for a great price. When i got the bill, I couldn't believe how low the cost of labor was. They don't screw around there. They just get it done.

My brakes went out suddenly and I went there for an emergency repair as I live in Hibbing. They squeezed me into their busy day, diagnosed the problem very quickly, fixed it quickly, found a major problem that previous mechanics had missed, and informed me that I had been grossly overcharged by a previous shop. I will never go to another mechanic shop beside this one ever again. I am a new life-long customer. I HIGHLY recommend them!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Jerry and his mechanics are fantastic. Travel the country working and bar none this shop is one of the top. Great service, knowledgeable and will not scam you into not un needed maintenance. Diagnosed my problems before Ford

Absolutely great services and extremely amazing customer service words can't express how much we appreciate the services they provided to us. We ended up having our breaks go out while coming through town on our way home to the cities and needed to get fixed ASAP these guys set up towing service to the shop and got us in early even as well as having a full schedule. I would definitely recommend this place

Jerry and his mechanics are the best in town, and this is the only place we take our cars for check-ups and repairs ever since he's been the owner. Polite, hard-working, caring, and the place is immaculate. He even works on my Michigan relatives' cars when they're in town with car trouble. Outstanding service.

Hit something on the road on our way out to ND, so we found Southside on Google & backtracked about 5 miles. Excellent service - they patched the tire and had us back on the road in 30 minutes. They had a very comfortable lounge with coffee & Oreos. Guys were kind despite us arriving 40 minutes before close of the business day. Highly recommend!

My son was going up north on a fishing trip when his truck started hesitating with acceleration. He was able to get to Grand Rapids and called Southside. They were able to get him in that morning and gave him a quote for the work. With the initial diagnosis not fixing the problem, they were able to get him fixed with a new fuel pump and get him on the road. Southside honored their initial quote from the AM and were honest throughout the whole process. Definitely a business with high integrity!!! VERY impressed!

The staff at Southside Tire & Auto are experienced and take pride in their work. They have a level of professionalism and trustworthiness that you just don t much see these days.If you re in need of auto repair or new tires in the Grand Rapids area, I absolutely recommend Southside Tire & Auto, they ll treat you like family.To quote the owner Jerry, I don t have a business without my customers; to me my customers are family. They have done right by my wife and I for years. They ll do right by you too.

Been going to this place for years they are very good at getting me in right away and taking care of everything that's necessary and that says a lot for somebody that lives out of state.Highly recommend them for anything that is needed for your vehicles

I want to give a shout out the guys at Southside Auto. An excellent, excellent, excellent place to have work done. I have been to dozens and dozens of shops all over the country with my 97 f150. This thing has very few original parts left on it. This is my most favorite place that i have ever been. Seriously, bought a new f150 thinking this truck was done. Now after they have fixed my old truck i am thinking selling my new truck. No joke. And no, they did pay me to say this. Believe me, i am as picky as they come and these guys are the top in my mind. Skip the dealer and come here. If nothing else start with them first and prove me wrong. Thanks guys, my truck is back and better than ever!

The crew at Southside did an excellent job getting my vehicle back up and running! The staff was very professional and eat to work with. They did a tremendous job working thru my camper issues.. from a water leak to tires, brakes, and bearings they do it all! I would recommend you give them a try..very professional and answered all my questions timely. Was in the area on vacation when we got a screw in our tire. Called and was able to get in same day and tire was fixed in under an hour for only $30.30 days later back at home edit...the patch failed and I brought it into my local tire shop. They claimed the patch was not standard and couldn t be repaired again, so had to replace the tire. Still leaving 3 stars for being able to get in quickly and get home safe.

I was on vacation fishing in Cohasset, pulled my boat up and my transition went out in the middle of the week. I only had 2 days to get it fixed before I went home, called several places and the earliest I could get in was the following week until I called Jerry and his crew, I explained my issue with Jerry and he said he would squeeze me in . They got my transmission replaced the day before I had to go home. Thank you to Jerry and his crew.Service: Transmission

All I can say is that this shop is awesome! As someone who drives their car for a living, prompt service and knowing the status of repairs when they happen is extremely important to me. I have come to Southside with repairs that would have taken other shops all day, if not longer to fix and have been back on the road or on my way to work in just a few hours.I drive a Jeep Liberty that has been quite an adventure to fix up and turn into a reliable vehicle. Just in the month of January alone it spent more time at Southside with a blown water pump, transfer case issues, and a list of bad censors than it did on the road, and thanks to the awesome team at this shop, it's now driving straight and running the way that it's supposed to. This isn't even including all of the work they've done on the front end suspension.Needless to say, when I have a problem, Southside is who I will go to, and when our other drivers have problems with their cars, this is who I recommend.

Very Professional clean shop. I have used them twice on my work fleet vehicle, both times they got me in promptly, notified me of approval, gave me an accurate eta for repair and took care of the fleet company paperwork. By far the best vehicle service I have Had.

Passing through Grand Rapids and had a windshield wiper actuator problem on our class A RV. Called Southside and they said they would be happy to look at it for us. They immediately had a technician come out to look at the problem. He was able to reattach the piece that came off! ! Off we go for our next adventure! I wish we had a Southside Tire and Auto where we live! Outstanding customer service! ! Thank you! !
