Edit: There is good staff, I don t know what the heck was going on that day I went in. My following visit was far improved, as I still had money on my gift card. That s a really good thing, as I really like this chain of stores; and have known this location my whole life. NIGHTMARE! Not only were my crocs over priced; which was fine with me. The employee that was ringing me up was clearly the lead clerk or shift manager. The entirety of the transaction was spent with them complaining about how hard it was to take the security unit off because they had so much security on a pair of shoes, and then they proceeded to comment that that is a necessary precaution because of how bad theft is. Meanwhile, all I wanted to do was purchase my pair of shoes and leave because they were making me feel like I was a burden and giving me horrible anxiety. I tried to make a comment to lighten the situation, but they were more preoccupied with going to the next counter, instead of serving the current customer because they were needed at customer service. They proceeded to be incredibly short with me until I had a full-blown panic attack calling them rude and leaving the store. Overall I would say avoid this establishment and just buy online not only is it overpriced but you have to deal with their rude staff who apparently is the head cashier so I can t imagine things improving.

Fantastic store with helpful and knowledgeable people working there and a HUGE selection of farm supplies. I was looking for options to house my chickens and was thrilled to find some very nice chicken coop kits, along with several other things I was needing. I will definitely be back!

Always knowing where your stores inventory is will always be a key and important part of being an efficient way of doing business. And if a person (employee) is not sure, there is no hesitation to ask and find someone that will know. Hands down the place to go when you hot a job to do and to get something done. And done right!Knowledgeable and friendly!!

Absolutely the best store in northern Minnesota. I could spend all day in there.Recently saw gender reveal Tannerite, so sweet. Everything you need is in one place.

Went during the bucket sale, which is great! 20% off almost everything that fits in the bucket! Very large selection in almost every department, however since was fall, we were unable to find any life vests because they had transitioned to hunting merchandise.

A family business for three generations where you can find most anything or if not they will find it and order it in for you. The employees are numerous so you don t have to hunt someone down in the store to help you a friendly person will check you out ,no long lines, no self checkouts. You ll find prices better than items once were on Amazon pleasant, clean and well stocked stores in several locations in the upper 1/3 of MN. Read how the family started the small business that has expanded to many places yet kept the intimate neighborly attitude.

Needed to quickly grab ONE item from this spacious store, so I asked an employee who was offering samples near the entrance. The directions were perfect, and I found my item, made my purchase, and was back to my vehicle in under 5 minutes. Love it!

Really love to see the now hiring signs. Be nice if you would hire me. For an applicant with near perfect experience to get declined on a position is insulting. Thank you very much for not hiring me. Thank you for not giving me a chance. Your store is literally begging for people. It would be nice if you would give the hours to someone who literally is begging for a position.

Go here all the time. They have practically everything - clothing: hunting, fishing, and everyday, home goods, lawn and garden, hdwr, auto, all things hunting and fishing, tools, and so much more.

L&M is a decent place to shop. They have a good selection of items. The prices are higher here than other places in town for some things, but other things the prices are comparable. Each year, my kids enjoy going in to see the new chicks, and this is where we actually got our first group of chicks. I've found some really nice camping sets here too. I do recommend looking here if you're searching for animal feed (bird, horse, rabbit, pig, etc.) or looking for sporting goods.

"Better than Cabelas " is what Kevin said. I say there is a warm friendly associate near by to help you locate things. Wonderful experience & everything we were looking for. Fantastic store & associates!

I own a horse ranch and live 2 hours south of Grand Rapids. I'm in Grand Rapids weekly and always plan a stop at this place to buy what I need. In the last week I bought a 3 1/2 ton CAT floor jack with 7 inch tires for rolling around in the dirt, a portable 200 piece socket set and a PTO drive line for my tractor. I'm a serious buyer and this is the place.

Very knowledgeable employees. My daughter and I were going to buy baby chickens for their eggs down the road. I had everything picked out and an employee stopped me because I had meat birds and instructed me to wait until the next day for the egg laying variety to be back in stock. I had no idea there was more than one type. I was very thankful they stopped us and a little embarrassed of my lack of knowledge. They were super nice and respectful and helped us the next day and its going great. Thanks L & M

1 star cause you can t put 0 l. Worst l&m I ve been too the gun section and the people who work it is a joke and employees that haven t been there for more than 2 years get treated so badly that it should be a crime my buddy got fired yesterday out of the blue after being told he was a good worker and he had a gun on lay away with almost 500$ down and after getting fired they took the money and didn t refund him and then proceeded to ban him from the property being told it was company policy
