Woke up to find my tire was completely flat. I brought my car over to tire and auto lodge hoping they would be able to fix it sometime the same day. The guy in the office dropped what he was doing and took care of it right away. I REALLY appreciate him helping me out!

Odin went above and beyond all my expectations when I was 500 miles away from home on a 3 generations fishing trip with my sons and grandsons and had an issue with my boat trailer tire. Even though he was obviously very busy, he dropped everything to help us out with our emergency. There are still good hearted folks out there and Odin is certainly one of them.

Had a flat tire on the way to Grand Marais and stopped at Tire & Auto Lodge, on Monday morning. They looked at the tire and said they could patch it. It would take 30 minutes or so. Went to the grocery store across the street and when I came back the tire was done. They replaced the spare and put the spare back under the car, for $30. Seemed very reasonable and timely and greatly appreciated. Thanks

My sister and brother in law were camping 45 miles away when they realized they had a problem with their tire. They were going to be leaving the area the next day to drive to the Davenport Iowa area. They worked them into the schedule, removed the nail and they were on their way with less than 50.00 being spent. They truly saved the day

Great experience. We are out of state camping nearby and developed a leak in the right rear tire. Stopped in about 45 minutes before closing and they got us in and fixed the leak.. Great people great place and great service, they were life savers!!Service: TiresService: Tires

We had a sudden flat tire on our way out of town and called in a panic. They got us in immediately, fixed our tire quickly and professionally, and charged us an incredibly fair price. We were so lucky to find this place and would glady visit them again.Service: TiresService: Tires

Craig and his team were extremely responsive, despite being very busy. They racked my vehicle, diagnosed and showed me exactly what was wrong. They didn't have immediate access to the required parts so they gave me the info I needed to get my vehicle home from vacation safely...all for no charge. I gave them $20 anyways because I value their competence, honesty and time. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my vehicle here again.

We were driving down the Gun Flint Trail when the low tire pressure light came on. We pulled over and saw that the front driver's side tire was a little low, but still able to drive. We headed back into town and went straight to Tire & Auto Lodge. We were told the mechanics were at lunch, but they would be back in 15 minutes and we were welcome to wait or we could leave the keys and go get something to eat. We walked across the street to My Sister's House restaurant for lunch. When we got back, Craig told us they took off the tire and put it in water, but couldn't find any leaks, so they reseated the tire, aired it up & checked it again....no leaks. They also checked the other tires and aired them up for us. Craig only charged us $5.00!! Any other auto shop would've charged a lot more than that for labor!! He told us to come back if we had any other problems. I felt like we were long lost friends. Craig was so friendly and helpful! I would send anyone there that had any kind of automobile problems.

Odin, I want to say thank you. Even though your schedule was booked out, you took the time to test drive my Silverado when I had brake issues on 6/8/21. You were extremely helpful and calmed my worries. We got home safe. Thank you!

We've used Tire and Auto for years to service and repair all our fleet and personal vehicles. They have always been fair and forthcoming with options and prices and done the work in a reasonable amount of time. And they have great tires too!

i was quoted a price FAR LOWER than i had thought i would need to pay for the entirety of the work. When I got there Odin, who could have just charged me the quoted price was completely honest with me and broke it down. he said that he "had miss judged the total cost for parts so my bill would be $100 dollars less than initially quoted". I ain't on the north shore for much longer, but if anything happens to my car while I am still here i will not go any where else.Not only was the work great, but Odin is just an all around good guy

The guys here are awesome!! They sure helped us two girls make it back to st.paul for my friends wedding. We ended up with two flat tires that weekend and not a lot of cash to spare, and the guys here were had small town attitudes and hometown friendly service!! I would recommend anytime!! Thanks!!

Craig was very straightforward, honest and helpful. When he realized he had to order another part, he loaned us a car to get back to our cabin for the next 24 hours. Excellent service, the mechanics did a great job.

excellent service and responsiveness and good pricing. My daughter blew out her clutch two days before she need to return to college and tire and auto were amazing in getting it done quickly and well. Very happy and highly recommend Tire and Auto.

Oden was wonderful! We had a flat tire while on vacation. Stopped in and he had his crew fix the tire on the spot! Great value and saver of time. Highly recommend Oden's garage.

We found ourselves with an eroded battery cable on a Sunday night in Grand Marais with plans to start a multi-day trip on the Superior Hiking Trail at the crack of dawn.The folks at Tire & Auto Lodge were able to address the problem right away on Monday morning. 30 minutes and hardly a dent in my wallet later, we were ready to hit the trail.Thanks for making a far-from-home car trouble easy & painless!

Had a leak in a tire on vacation and they got us in right away and the price was good. Definitely recommend them. If you aren't familiar with the area, they are tucked behind the car wash.

Tire got a puncture on dirt road. Got us in immediately and only $25 for a patch. Super speedy service and straightforward pricing-- would definitely come back for future service!

I couldn't be more impressed with the service and value we received here. We were in town on vacation and needed brake work done in short order. They got the parts ordered asap and even did the work on one of their closed days. This is how you run respectable business. Friendly and honest. You can put your trust in this place.

Great service! Stopped in when my 2011 Grand Cherokee started to shake when I drove over 40 mph. Issue was found and solved for within a couple of hours.

We visited Grand Marais and woke up with a flat tire the day we were supposed to leave. Tire & Auto Lodge was friendly, fast, and a great value! Thank you! Highly recommended! :)

Stopped in at 4PM in need of a replacement tire on our camper for the one whose entire tread came off to metal cords on the drive up. squeezed me into the lot and got a pair installed right away. Done in about in hour!
