Great location - we have rented cabins in the summer and always enjoy staying at the lodge in the winter for snowmobile trips. It's nice to support a family business especially when they are a family worth supporting, wonderful people! Thank you for yet another wonderful stay Rachelle and Cory. Don't forget to eat at Raven Rock Grill - Cory is quite the chef!Noteworthy details: This is a great place to snowmobile out of and hit the excellent trails right away.

If you come here, you NEED to get the cajun Alfredo. I am honestly doing you a favor by telling you what to order. This is the best pasta I have ever had in my life. Give this chef a hug, they have really figured this whole noodle mixture out. Thank you for blessing my taste buds. I will drive up here literally for the pasta. Thank you.

I would highly recommend spending your next holiday in Grand Marais at Skyport Lodge. It s a beautiful property right on the lake. Cabins are nice and clean. Food served in the restaurant is delicious, don t forget to try their fresh catch of the day. Staff is amazing and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. I would compare their service with Disney. Thank you for all you do!!

This review is for the raven rock grill only as we didn't stay at the lodge.Quite an odd experience, we were seated right away and offered 2 menus for our party of 3. Wait staff came over took drink orders and asked if we were also ready to order food. We were, so we did. Drinks arrived fine and complete. There seemed to have been an additional 3 staff brought on around this time (5pm), which made sense for the dinner hour... But it seemed like there were 2 or 3 staff that really didn't know what they were doing. Odd to watch. The food arrived and was disappointing for 2 of the 3 of us. The green olive burger was severely lacking in green olive flavor, which was the whole reason for ordering. The Philly had large slices of thick meat, barely tender enough to bite through and oddly proportioned to the size of the bun/roll it came on.The steak ordered at the table was good, flavorful and the onion and mushrooms that came with it were great. We love trying new place while vacationing on the north shore, but I can't see us rushing back to the Raven Rock, sadly.

Love the family environment at this place The owners are on site and always seemed available. They re laid back and as easy going as it gets. Their young kids are around enjoying life and if your lucky, their dog, Ranger will help you fish!To me, this is the best food, drink and atmosphere I could have asked for. The bar and grill serve great food and drink and the staff is outstanding.Make sure you re there on a Sunday. Food and a band on their outside stage!

Second time staying at Skyport. We rented a totally updated pet friendly room with a kitchenette that overlooks the lake. Great facilities, great hosts/owners and resort dogs. Restaurant is really good- a little pricey, but worth it. Fishing on Devils Track was outstanding- caught loads of walleye and smallies from on site canoe and our boat. The dock is new and really big- you don t often see nice large docks up here.

The lodge and backyard were great for the kids to run around.A bit lame how everything is served in polystyrene to-go boxes.Food was good, could have used a few more veggies on the sandwiches.

Unfortunately this place sounds like it could have been great for our snowmobile trip last year but they didn't tell us that the owners wife was having her birthday party and the bar and restaurant would not be opened until after we reserved our room and made the trip. We had planned on staying 2 nights and left early the next day. They never offered to refund us or give any kind of a deal. We won't be back unless they offer me a great deal next time. We take a few trips every year to snowmobile in the arrowhead. Just sorry I didn't share this review sooner.

What a neat little place we discovered. The rooms are nice, have plenty of room, and ours had a little kitchenette that worked perfectly for us. There is plenty of snowmobile trailer parking. An amazing community room for a bigger group to gather in. Easy access to the snowmobile trails (which were amazing.) The staff was busy but didn't miss a beat and were friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to go back!

Ceiliac Review. Delicious! I had the grilled walleye with veggies (peas & corn) and rice. Served with tarter sauce and lemon. Absolutely delicious! Best meal of weekend touring Grand Marais. If you are staying in town, it is definitely worth the drive up the hill to try their food! Very friendly staff & particularly man named Rich who has worked there several years and adds a charm to the establishment. My hubby had buffalo wings & would give them a 4 star, being the connoisseur that he is regarding wings. Beautiful view, wait was a bit long even though we beat the rush & a couple dining corners could have been better organized, but I'm particular about clean & tidy ambiance. Well done Raven Rock! Not everyone is on vacation pace, so just speed things up a bit & give a critical eye to your dining areas & you'll get more 5 stars!! Was a pleasure dining there.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options on the menu, needed to ask staff beyond the gluten free buns that were noted.

9 of us buddies came up from the twin cities to go snowmobiling over a long weekend. We booked two cabins and they do not disappoint. Clean, cozy and welcoming. Felt like a home. Rachelle is always walking her dogs and very easy to talk to. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in the northern woods of Minnesota. 10 stars in my book.

Wonderful place to stay with young kids & dogs. We rented a cabin in October for a long weekend. 2 families with young kids and dogs. It is a very clean & well kept cabin with all the essentials. Beautiful location on a lake and very close to superior hiking trail & Grand Marais. We will definitely be returning!

We are still smiling from our visit to Skyport Lodge & Raven Rock Grill! We stayed nearby in a rental owned by another company, but were able to visit Skyport Lodge and Raven Rock Grill on numerous occasions. First of all, Rachelle and Cory are welcoming, kind, fun, and amazing business owners (and so are their children and employees!). The location is incredible, we arrived on Sunday and enjoyed live music on the beach. Our children played in the water and on the playground. We loved watching (and joining) locals and visitors dance and enjoy the beautiful Sunday evening together. One afternoon, we rented a pontoon (very affordable!) and were able to explore the lake. On our last night in the area we listened to live music in the bar and then ate dinner in the restaurant. The atmosphere was joyful, welcoming, and so much fun! The food was DELICIOUS, everyone in our group from the 1 year old to the 72 year old was pleased with their meal and the service provided. The drinks and food were affordable, so much so, that I had to do a double take at my bill. They were also very accommodating and careful with my food allergies. We are so excited to visit Devil Track Lake again, except this time we will 100% be staying at one of Rachelle and Cory's rentals or in the lodge!

We rented Pinewood cottage a few weeks ago. What a great experience! Cabin was clean, comfy beds, nice showers. Unfortunately our dog was naughty and ripped the carpet the first night while we were at the restaurant. I took a picture and sent it to the owner right away, telling her to let me know on repair cost. She replied that they'd probably be able to fix it without cost. Whew, what a relief that was because I was kinda sick over it. Needless to say we got our food "to go" the other two nights. Raven Rock grill was awesome! Food was delicious, staff was quick and friendly. We already have plans to stay here next year hopefully! Thank you Rachelle and Cory!

5 stars all around. From the cute rooms to the awesome amenities (my kids lived in the game room & on the dock), the awesome on-site food to the super nice & attentive owners -- oh, and did I mention how cute their dogs are?!?! This place is fantastic. We will be back!

Unexpectedly awesome. Brother-in-law got a reservation for our group of 9. Sort of a small town vibe but they deliver with a solid tap list of local options, good food, and amazing service. Our server was juggling a million things and did so efficiently and all the while with great service. I had a rice bowl which was way better than I expected, and my kids ate up their dinners. The setting on the lake is incredibly beautiful. I was very pleasantly surprised by my dinner experience here, and recommend checking this place out

All around wonderful place! The people are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and pretty. The location is amazing! Right on the shores of Devil Track Lake. We have been boating in the summer, hiking and enjoying fall colors, and walking out on the ice in the winter. Great spot for snow mobilers. No matter when you go it s beautiful. The food at Raven Rock Grill is delicious! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. In the summer they have musical entertainment on the lawn which is very festive. Do yourself a favor and spend some time here. If you love it half as much as we do, you will have a great time.

My husband, dog, and I had an absolutely awesome stay at Skyport lodge! Our room had everything we needed to make some basic meals between outings on the north shore and the lake view outside our room was fantastic. We are already talking about when we want to go back :)

My husband and I really enjoy this place. We come to the area every spring and this is the second year we've eaten at Raven Rock. The staff are so friendly and they remembered us from last year. The food is great too. We will definitely be back next year!

We have stayed a Skyport the last 2 years for the 4th of a July. We so enjoy the use of the SUP and kayaks. The lake is so clear and no weeds- great for swimming. (Note- bring your water shoes due to the rocks.) We also like that there is a restaurant on site- great nachos and local beer! The staff is always so nice and welcoming; we can t wait to come back next summer.

This was the rest and relaxation we were searching for.... and found! From the first conversation we had to inquire about the property, to our arrival--and beyond--ALL of our expectations were met or exceeded. If you are looking for owners who are thoughtful about the details, responsive, TRULY care about you and your stay, and run a well-maintained family-owned property, look no further. Everyone, including both the lodge and restaurant staff, are in the right business and are exceptional at what they do. We were also very happy to have the Raven Rock Grill right on the property so we didn't have to venture into Grand Marais for lunch or dinner. In fact, other than breakfast, we chose to dine only at the lodge for this reason. Not only was it convenient, we felt the grill offered far better food and service than we experienced in town. This is a pet friendly property (big bonus for us and our little dog), with fun options for everyone! We rented the very affordable lodge pontoon (there are also kayaks and canoes available for free), enjoyed the beautiful sunsets, and loved being right on Devil's Track Lake (a very fair trade for Lake Superior). We highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a hidden gem that shines in ALL seasons (snowmobilers take note)! We will be making this an annual tradition for our family. Thank you to all who contributed to our stay! Still smiling.

We went to Skyport last Friday for the first time and were so impressed we ended up going there Sunday and Monday! I called before we went because I had a couple questions on the menu, the lady was so nice and patient when answering my questions, I knew we had to go there. The service is great, Rose and Rachelle made us feel right at home - they even gave me a hug when I left! The food is amazing - from the mozzarella sticks, to the burgers, and especially the "Beyond Burger" that's vegetarian friendly and super tasty. I will definitely be back. Thank you!

This was a great place. We stayed in one of the big cabins here. The cabin we got was marvelous. We as a group of 8 (6 fits in best + 2 on couch) enjoyed it the most. Walking down to lake and ankles dipped into cold water was amazing. At night you can see the milky way right staring at you. Kitchen is full. To have best fun - carry some breakfast preps for a great coffee mornings strolling at lake and beer for great evenings next to camp fire.Have fun!Special thanks to the host. She accommodated us for our late night arrival and check out was very easy. . She recommended us very great places near by. Eagle mountain hike in fall is the best.
