We have used Brownie's Tire since our business moved to Glenwood in the early 1980's. Chuck was a pleasure to deal with back in the day & his son Mike is great to do business with as well. Good people and great service. I was driving in the area when my check engine light came on and the car started shaking. I pulled in to see if they could look at it. They were very busy, right before a holiday weekend, but said they would bring it in and at least see what was going on. A short time later, the issue was diagnosed and fixed. All at a reasonable price. They also recommended other repairs I should get done when closer to home.

On January 11th, 2023, my husband went to pick up his telehandler he had serviced at Brownies Tire Service to have foam tires changed to regular tires. When he arrived to pick up, it was not drivable, and the basket was crushed. After some back and forth with the employee and my husband trying to move it (it was then that the employee stated "ohh...thats how you do that.") My husband demanded them to pay for damages and they refused. Contacted an outside company to find out the steering orbital motor broke as well. The damages totaled $4,834.48. Contacted a lawyer, sent a letter requesting payment and Brownies did not contact our lawyer or us or pay. Went to conciliation court, and judge (who is facebook friends with the guy who was in court's wife) dismissed us with prejudice. The judge is in the same town as the company resides. Brownies Tire Service has cameras at their establishment pointing at where the telehandler was in their lot. We were never shown footage of what happened that day, obviously for a reason. They destroyed so much and hid everything. Don't go here, this is an incompetent service company and if they damage your things, they will not fix them.Service: Tires

The team at Brownies is not only trustworthy but also a great group of people who really care about taking care of their customers! They also have some great technicians and mechanics. Big thank you to Eric for taking care of my ram 2500. I m crazy about maintenance and they have done a great job. Keep up the awesome work my friends! Absolute Con artists. Will make any excuse to void the warranty. Management will also harass you trying to clear their conscience for bad service, and cause you to be late to work. They are very fair. They have been able to fit my vehicles in with short notice and are great at communicating any issues that arise or when repairs are completed. Will continue to use them for all maintenance and repairs.

Outstanding customer service. I had a tire put on my car back in July when I was on vacation. They gave me a good price for the tire. I just had that tire develop a bulge in the sidewall the week before I was supposed to go back up there on another trip. I took the tire up there with me and just walked in. I didn't have a receipt but I told them the situation and they remembered me. They immediately replaced the tire for free. I would recommend them to anybody

Had these guys try and screw over my father and one of my best friends, would not recommend. Unless you want to pay way more than basically any reputable source would charge. Shady stuff going on over there.

I'm from out of town and stopped in here while visiting family to see if they could help resolve a vibration in my steering wheel between 45-70 mph. I paid two other shops to balance my tires already and they scratched their heads as to why the issue was still there after the balancing. The issue was so annoying I wanted to see if these folks could figure anything out. Well, they balanced the tires there at Brownie's and POOF, vibration was gone. I'm very picky about ride quality, and wasn't expecting a complete reversal of my issue. From the moment I walked in the door it was nothing but a+ customer service. They listened to me explain the whole story and didn't once tell me any of my theories were wrong or made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. As a result of the excellent service I had them replace my rear tires. They were still in very good shape but they were a little older than the front tires and since they did such a good job I thought why not, they earned the business! I dealt mainly with Mike but a couple of the other employees I talked to were also very nice. Going forward I'm going to buy all my tires from them, even if I have to drive 4 hours to get there!

Been going here for tires since I moved to the area in 2008. Good service fair pricing. Always they've replaced a tire with a defect once for me they had just put on no questions. Happened a week after mounting. Fast service as well!

I had been a loyal customer since coming to area over nine years ago. Service was always top notch. But over last year service has gone down hill and wait to get in has increased. Brought my vehicle in to get radiator fan fixed. I bought used part. Took longer to get done. And then was told head gasket need replacing and would cost over $700. After declining mechanic didn't our right headlight back in. Had to stop three times to pop in.Will never go back. Hope owner knows what is going on.

Over two weeks ago I approached this shop to put new tires on my car, and that I needed an alignment. So I placed the work on their calendar with a weeks notice, and the gave me a quote!They mount my tires on and say that they didn't have the hardware to do the alignment, but had known over a full week that it needs an alignment! Now I need to make another appointment with the same technician a week later. I had cash in my pocket as I wanted to pay or the tires atleast. This new quote was considerably higher!I get into my car after the tires are mounted, and every seat setting was adjusted along with the mirrors and the volume on my stereo was cranked up! Even more upset now.Yesterday I go and pick up my car after the alignment was done, and now the bill is even larger yet! Not even close to the first quote at all. The quote that made me go to these guys in the first place.This company used to be a reputable business in the area, and unfortunately are now taking advantage of people. It's sad to see another company just trying to make more money versus helping someone out!

Had a flat tire and was just passing through. When I called in, they said to just stop in and they would take care of me. I was there for under an hour before my tire was ready to go and I was on the road again. Also, the price to make the fix was very affordable. Thanks for making a stressful situation much better!

Little pricey for Glenwood. But the quality is top notch. Staff could be way better. I was standing there, and there was 3 guys sitting behind the counter looking busy I guess. A bunch of minutes go by and finally one of the guys says something to me after awhile. They shouldn't keep there costumer standing there like there invisible. Not good! Go to Alexandria instead!

Will never take anything here to be worked on again. I took my vehicle in to have the oil dipstick tube replaced. I already purchased the new item myself and had the old one most of the way out but needed a little help with it. After an 8 hour ordeal and Brownies taking the manifold off my truck, replacing the gaskets, and snapping bolts off they then proceeded to cut my exhaust apart and weld it back together along with replace a motor mount all without me having any knowledge of them doing so. I never got a phone call about what they planned on doing they just went ahead and did it. I guess I wasnt aware that all that extra work was needed to replace the dipstick tube and put 1 bolt back in that holds the tube in place.
