This place has been very good to us! Ben and the team have taken excellent care of our vehicles at reasonable prices. They have been right on every diagnosis for noises and brake issues and have gotten them fixed up in reasonable time. Thank you A1A!!!

Went here to get my front end done on my truck. Ben is great to work with. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I like that im able to understand exactly what needs to be done, and how much $$ each part of the work performed would be. I asked him about a million questions about work i need done in the near future on my vehicles and he very helpful, didnt feel rushed at all even tho it was time for them to close. I will definitely be back soon to get stuff done on my other vehicles, they gained a long term customer. I highly recommend!

This is the most honest auto mechanic I've ever met in my life. These guys went out of their way to give me a really good deal when I was in a time of need, never before my life have I ever had an auto mechanic do such a thing... thanks A1A Auto I really appreciate it and you can expect to have all of my business moving forward!!

Definitely one of my best repair shop experiences to date. They were honest, communicative, and transparent about the whole process, and very responsive to any questions I had. This place even found and fixed my exhaust leak that TWO different local muffler shops somehow missed. Highly recommend and will use them in the future!

Absolutely one of the best experience dealing with auto repair.... Fred whole sale tire guys are absolutely awesome group of guys as well they're the ones that actually referred me over to A1A Auto service I had a technical repair on my work truck !! Ben an the guys are the best in town an I appreciate there attention to detail an followed through with the repair in a timely manner an complete on the date set too. I will be bringing all my repairs to these guys!!! Thanks again to the crew an enjoy the beers you deserve it..

One of the best mechanic in the area. Pulled my broken speed sensor in a reasonable cost which other mechanic shop even denied to do it. 5+ stars for this shop.

Brought my Chrysler 200 here for new brakes a little over a year ago as they were able to get me in quickly. Got a call saying that my calipers were shot and fell apart and needed to be replaced. 800 dollars later the car still screeched as I backed up. Car vibrated at freeway speeds. Brakes didn't last more than 5000 miles and ended up grinding down the rotor on one side. Calipers are broken again. Struts need replacing. Not sure what happened but I should have brought it back when the screeching didn't stop.Service: Brakes

Ben did a great job on my vehicle. Needed to fix my trailer connector on my Trailblazer. Replaced it along with rewiring. He saved a our fishing trip. I just had my CV axle replaced on my 08 accord today. I will update this to see how the work faired but for the folks looking to take it to this place make sure you know about the 3% charge they tack on for using a credit card. They don t have it posted anywhere but the front desk. Not sure who carry s around cash anymore but fair warning.

This place was recommended by Fred Jr. Auto which I have always trusted for my everyday maintenance. They recommend A1A because they knew they would do a great job on replacing my 13 Escape water pump. They replaced the pump with no issues and did it cheaper then any Ford dealers near by. Great service and done in a timely matter.

We've been using A1 for a few years. Ben is honest, fair, pleasant, and happy to help us keep our fleet of old cars on the road as long as it makes sense to do so. Never any upsell - just honest answers. Highly recommend.

I moved to Forest Lake last year and brought my car here to get worked on. My husband and I have been bringing all of our vehicles to A1A Auto Service for about a year now, and we will continue to do so. The new owner, Ben, is really easy to work with and has always been very flexible with us and our needs. He is also very knowledgeable and has helped us out so many times. We like that he gets us in right away, does high quality work and that he has always been honest with us, which can be so hard to find these days. If you are looking for an excellent, honest and fair vehicle mechanic, I highly recommend A1A-you won t be disappointed!

Couldn't be more happy with Ben and his team. I've asked him to do a lot of crazy stuff, and even fix some of my do it yourself mistakes to clean it up and it's always been quality and fair. Not to put words in his mouth, but if you've got something exotic you want to try, a lift in a truck, installing a spoiler in your brand new sports car and all sorts of other random modifications... just give him a call, he can do it just as well as anyone else.

Very friendly staff and they are very knowledgeable at what they do. They don't try to oversell you and will let you know if there are any other problems with your vehicle and give a fast estimate. But they also will tell you the truth at how urgent the repair really is.

This place was great. I had my truck in another place in town 3 times to get a noise fixed and A1A found it and had it fixed on the first try. Along with finding other things that had been missed.
