DO NOT waste your time with this Valvoline. They put in the wrong oil filter which was corrected by an auto shop the next day despite it being there for a separate issue. I went back to only try and get a refund for the oil change. Not even mentioning the 160$ I spent in labor to have the issue they caused fixed. Had to call in to a corporate line to get the money back. At least it was a 160$ lesson instead of the 10k for a blown up engine

My 18 year old daughter went to get her first oil change on her on Sept. 13, 2023 at this location.They performed the oil change and told her at the end, "They put in a piggyback pug and it might leak a little but it would be fine." Then the service tech (store manager) lied and said, "It was because the previous shop put in to big a drain plug after the last oil change and she should go back and talk to them about it."Midway Ford Quicklane Service had performed the last two oil changes and have serviced my 20+ vehicles since 1986. I know everyone at Midway Ford well and I know they're not liars and that the service tickets don't mention any issues with the drain plug or replacing it.Upon, my daughter going back to this Vavoline location they told her on 1/4/24 that they cannot work on a piggyback plug and she needs a new oil pan. This was news to her and me. The Store Manager lied again during a phone call on 1/5/24 about that they can work on the piggyback plug but that here are risks. Again, not what she was told the day before when she was refused service. The Store Manager couldn't find the service ticket by her name had a hard time getting the VIN ID# over the phone, and then didn't fully read the notes until I asked twice. I was told he'd have to look at piggyback plug to see if it was their plug but after reviewing the notes it was changed by them.So, the oil service techs had over torqued the drain plug getting it out and the decided to put in the piggyback plug without any discussion and lied that it was the previous shops fault. I was told over torquing that drain plug is common. I'd never heard of it before or that it's a risk to be concerned about who you entrust to perform an oil change.Frankly, I would never trust this shop or for them to tell the truth again!

Couldn't have been a better experience. The assistant manager on duty was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I will go out of my way to return for service.

They are always easy going and do their best to work with you and your car issues. Also they have new hours Monday- Friday: 8am-6pm, Saturday: 8am-5pm, and Closed on Sunday. Hopefully this helps people in the furture

I stopped by to get my oil changed and to get air in my tires they were super helpful and nice. One of the best stores I ve been to in a long time! Thanks guys

Don't waste your time. Head straight to Norfield's valvoline for oil change. I was refuse service in Faribault valvoline because my felt skid plate was hanging down and could damage their concrete pit. They told me they could not serve me. Norfield treated me well and actually got the job done.

My first time here, really liked the attention to detail. I asked to have my oil protector ( underneath the car) removed, I didn't want oil in my pan, so it wouldn't drip in the garage and smell like oil when I drive it. They had no problem doing that for me.. and I appreciated it more than I can say. Very nice group of guys, and I'm confident they know what they're doing!!! Thanks guys!! Lori M

Stay away! This location is for compacts only! Control your urge to do the right thing and don t listen to the tech guiding you because they aren t at fault for guiding you into the pole on the corner of the entrance that every small car can barely squeeze by. The red pole the manager said, don t worry, people always run into the pole . Hmm, Well they certainly do if they watch the tech. The regional manager admitted it s been happening for years and hasn t done a thing to resolve the issue. Think about what else they could rip you off on! $120 oil change in a car and bad overall service. Never again.Service: Oil change

I'll start by saying the guys who work here are all nice a decent people to have running this shop. Unfortunately, of all the valvoline's that I've visited; I've had 4 bad experiences and they are all exclusively at this location. They don't care to make it right, and don't seem to know what they are doing. Nice as they are, I'm not sure any of them are qualified to touch a vehicle beyond changing some wipers.

They did an oil change in 7 minutes (yes I timed them). I felt like a nascar driver on pit road! They were friendly and very professional! Don t forget to look online for valuable coupons :)

It was decent service. However I had to show the techs how to properly close my air filter cover using compression clips. They had never seen these before. Also, they forgot to properly fasten my oil drip shield to my undercarrige. So it flapped loudly at high speeds and was very annoying. Good times. Gave me my military discount, thank you. Overall B- rating.

They did a great, detailed job. They checked everything they were supposed to and more. They also made sure that I knew what was going on with my truck. I also noticed that they took safety as a number one priority. Veteran friendly, and I respect that. I would definitely go back in 3000 miles.

We have had great luck at the Faribault Instant Oil Change. They have fast, very courteous service. Competent and professional. They do not push the hard up-sell like so many similar places.

They are friendly, smart, and very reasonable. I usually check for an online coupon before I go. Generally, I get oil changes, wiper blades replaced quickly and expertly. I can count on this team to know what they're doing every time. I highly recommend Vavoline for oil changes and various quick changes! Just wish they had ensured my windshield wiper fluid was full and my oil refill light (maintenance light) had been reset to off as well.

I went to get an oil change. However, I was berated you on how my car needs things it did not need. I even said "I'm not going to buy this" at the start of his speech and was told "Well Please let me finish what I have to say" Which was a waste of both of our time. He even broke the logic at one point by following the script. He tried to sell me on a transmission fluid change. For a sealed transmission..... Toyota the manufacturer of the car will tell you that you never need to change the transmission fluid. Yet somehow in their logic you the dealer recommends one... It quickly went from dealer recommends to we recommend.... Wow.... I came for a oil change left never wanting to return.Service: Oil change

I pulled up and asked for an oil change. I was on the phone at the time so put the lady on hold. He asked for my mileage and I told him what it was. He said no, what does it say on your car and I said that s what it says?! My dashboard doesn t show the mileage because it has a sensor error message so you can t see it. They told me to stop being rude? So I told them to let me out. While all 7-8 dummies stood around.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars. Service was awesome and quick. 15min. Excellent communication and these guys are pros. Best quick change place. Only issue....slightly overpriced. About $10 more than it should be... I guess you pay for convenience

If I could give no stars I would, I went here in February and left no problem with no second thought. Now at the beginning of may when my car won t accelerate I pop the hood and find out they didn t put my oil dipstick back.Who forgets to do that? I went to the store to complain and they told me there was nothing they could do about it, it is hard to forget something like that.Well they did. Nobody has touched my car including myself since that oil change and it was there before hand so what explanation is there. I didn t think to check the job I PAID them to do so of course I didn t know of the problem any sooner.Moral of the story- if you want your car to keep all its parts, DO NOT WASTE MONEY HERE.

Today I had a terrible experience at valvoline oil . The employees were arguing about how cold the working conditions were in front of customers. I had to ask for DEF and the employees didn't know what I was talking about. I had to explain the entire process of filing the DEF tank on my F350. I then continued to watch two employees struggle with the DEF jug to the point where I got out of my truck and filled it myself. I then went to pay with my credit card and got scolded by Jon the Asst. Manager for not explaining to them that my credit card was a company fleet card. Between 5 employees working today at valvoline I seen absolutely no leadership.
