Great workmanship and fast mod on truck. The front desk just isn t it. Not sure if the lady was just in a bad mood, but aside to being rude to us- she was also rude to her co-worker. Either anger or patience issues should be addressed.Probably will never return.

Called spoke with someone about a truck topper twice now months apart. Said they would call back with quotes never heard of them. I would not recommend this place. If they can't make a simple return call with quotes I can't imagine dealing with them in person.

Very disorganized. Handed the wrong parts twice. Didn't call when parts are in, and when I wanted my money back after my fourth trip there, didn't receive it. Tolded them I didn't want the product anymore since I was tired of their mistakes. Owner than wanted to argue with me. So I left the wrong product there and walked out the door. I would recommend everyone shop somewhere else.

Very disappointed after have work done 6 months ago. Had a back rack put on my truck. Added my existing light bar at the same time, plus purchased a couple of other outside lights for my vehicle. The back rack was put on crooked and therefore one of the bolts was too close to my back window. Caused the window on the side of were the bolt was to shatter (this, according to window place). No window coverage so cost me $740 out of pocket to replace window. And then while getting that window replaced, come to find out the wiring performed for the light bar, wasn t even made for outside use and was very corroded. I am at this very moment having to have all the wires rerun. And this is from my mechanic who specializes in wiring on vehicles. Who knows what more this is going to cost me to be done right. I will never go here again or recommend this business.

I have a Ranch topper on my pickup that was purchased from a dealer in Elk River. The topper has a Truck Gear USA sticker on it, so I thought it would be a good idea to work with them to get some replacement parts since they originally installed it. Well, what a mistake that was. After countless calls, voicemails and emails I have just given up and went elsewhere. I am certain I have talked to everyone in the building two to three times, but every time I call back, they all seem to know nothing of my previous questions about replacement parts. Repeatedly I have inquired about parts and was told again and again that someone would look call me back and here I sit still waiting months later still waiting for a return call. I have been told numerous times that I would even get a return call that day and again nothing. I have since taken my request Truck Outfitters Plus in Iowa, after one phone call and an email with some photos, SUPRISE I have ordered my parts and actually talked to someone that knows great customer service and exactly what is going on. Can't recommend to take your business elsewhere. Unfortunately you can't do a ZERO star rating.

Purchased a set of airbags, a year later my compressor stop working and noticed a warning on my remote, so I looked it up in the book. Did not give specifics so I looked under my truck and noticed a screw head holding the controller and ground wired had snapped off. Called the office, they told me to come in. I live in Minneapolis, so I drove out. When I got there, they told me they couldn't fix it and had to make an appointment. Probably would only take them 10 minutes to fix. Just lost mine and anyone I knows business.

In February 2011 we purchased a new car. Truck Gear USA installed the auto start. We moved to ND in June of that year. 1 year after the new auto start was purchased, it quit working. No place in ND would service it so a 10 hour trip was made to Elk River, MN for them to reset the auto start. We realized this became a winter issue and drove the car back to them on several occasions to have the auto start reset. Last winter, I called again concerning the same issue. They knew exactly who I was as our car had been there several times for the same issue, only this time I am told there will be a $15 charge to reset their product. When I arrived the person who deals with the auto start stated he could not help me because they do not sell this brand. I told him it was bought & installed there. He stated that he had worked there 4 years & they do not sell this brand. Finally a familiar face walked in the room and told the service person that there was a brand new one in the office and that this car had been in before for the same issues. The service person disappeared briefly & returned stating the auto start was reset.2 weeks ago Thursday my husband was in Elk River and stopped in for the exact, yearly reoccurring issues only to be told the auto start person is only in on Tuesday. My husband left his name and number and was told somebody would call BUT as of today nobody has! How can they sell a product that they won't stand behind or service?I would rather give them a NO star rating but that was not an option. Stir clear of this company. Anything you need for your vehicle can be bought anyplace else.You think Minnesota has rough winters, live in the NW corner of North Dakota with auto start that don't work! Shame on you guys!

Once you go here you'll never want to go anywhere else! The owner is knowledgable and I always trust his opinion on what to do and what not to do to my truck. His employees are always the best at what they do. I've done three sound system installs and he even makes it "theft proof".

This place is horrible it took 2 months to get a set of seat covers in. When I saw he forgot to order the rear armrest cover I decided to go directly to the maker. They had told me he did not order the covers when he said he did and will send the cover free of charge. Another one of our trucks was brought in for duel exhaust to be installed. After seeing what they did (3 1/2" choked down to 2", the wrong size glass pack hacked in to fit, and no proper exhaust hangers used just stainless scrap metal welded to the frame then welded to the pipe) we brought the truck to a real exhaust shop and had all of it torn out and redone correctly. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will never be returning.

Probably the worst customer service EVER!! I stopped in to purchase parts and service..I was given an estimate and was told I would get a call back..two weeks..no call..I called and asked for a reply from the sales man..two weeks..no call.. I returned and re submitted my order and asked why my I had no call back..The response was ..Your order is under 2k and we are so busy its not worth OUR TIME...So if you want parts and help..I suggest you find a different business..Apparently they only help orders over 2k..

Ordered a Ranch topper for our truck very unhappy they did a hack job on the install, wiring was scary at best . Parts were missing called twice left messages to call me back and nothing. Would not recommend !!!!!

Watch out for the bait and hook with Greg. I called about a topper for a work truck and was told 1600-1700. So I drove from Forest Lake to have this done when I got there I was told it would be over 2100 the only thing I changed was the painted windows. 75per, that still doesn't add up. If you sell the topper for 1200 and the roof rack is 400 how did you think it would only be 1600 to 1700, waisted my time as this was my only day to get off early and make it here. I don't recommend this place at all. He argued with another guy just before me about his refund for his truck. Watch out.
