Fantastic shop! Andrew the owner is very knowledgeable and courteous. They approach repairs on your vehicle like it was their own, not just another sale. I feel well taken care of by their team when I need help with anything, as they sincerely do their best to provide quality work at a realistic price. Rare to find a mechanic that knows European or BMW's to be down to earth. Lastly, Justin a service advisor went to great lengths to provide multiple options for a repair within my budget. You won't be disappointed!

Everyone at SBR automotive is absolutely amazing the are some of the most honest mechanics I ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. The way they explain things to you about your vehicle and take pictures and video of the process of what they are doing or will need to do is absolutely remarkable. You just don t ever hear of it much less see it. People always hear the clich� about crooked mechanics, I am here to say and to let everybody know that these are not them people. These are the ones that are there to show the customer that there are honest reliable, trustworthy mechanic out there and I would 100% recommend SBR automotive to anybody. I know, they deserve an A+ on every category that they would be when it comes to automotive repair. Very trustworthy people and I thank you all very much for that. Keeps my faith in the world that there is still good people out there that you can trust. And so does our 2015 Buick Verano.

My wife and I were so impressed with the great customer service that we received from SBR Automotive! Not only did they do a fantastic job getting our car repaired properly and at a reasonable price, but they communicated with us throughout the process, but they also communicated with us throughout the process to make sure we were clear about what we were paying for. One of the best services that they offer to people that live within their service area is they will actually come pick you up when your car is done to give you a ride back to their shop to pick up your vehicle. That was super helpful as I was out of town at the time and my wife would not have been able to get up there without getting an Uber. We for sure highly recommend them and we'll be using their service from now on!

My son's car broke down in Elk River over the weekend. I found SBR with a quick search and saw the 4.9 rating. SBR proved to be a 10! Jycenta did an outstanding job of communicating with me every step of the repair and options to get us back on the road. Super impressed with SBR techs and how quickly they were able to diagnose the issue and conduct the repair. Highly recommend SBR for all of your automotive repairs and maintenance. Wish we lived closer to the shop!

My car had a check engine service light come on so I checked it with my scan tool and it read P0171. This code could have been any number of things.Instead of guessing and changing many parts that didn't need changing I talked to Andrew at SB auto. He said they could diagnose and pinpoint the problem. I had confidence in them because they did an excellent job fixing my dad's Jeep liberty last year. They were very thorough with their diagnostic . They communicated very well with me about what they found and if I wanted them to proceed with the repairs which I did. They brought to my attention other parts besides the code problem that needed replaced and never pressured me to have them fix it. The price was good and they did excellent work. I would definitely recommend them.

Andrew installed my KW Variant 2 Coil-Overs and H&R Sway Bars back in September 2022 (required 4 wheel alignment as well). Excellent communication, efficient work and extremely fair on pricing. Will definitely be bringing my BMW E46 328i to SBR Automotive again for future upgrades/maintenance. Excellent service, communication and recommendations.I first came to SBR off a referral trying to find a shop for my vehicle. After talking to them, and an inspection, found things outside of my knowledge. They not only pointed out these issues but educated me on them, pointed out little details I wouldn't have even noticed like they were experts on that particular model or owned it before themselves.Within' the last few months my mothers Lincoln had begun developing an oil burning condition, Andrew (owner) suggested a Liqui-Moly brand product designed to slow, prevent or completely solve the condition and has not burned since.During an oil change appointment once, Andrew showed me one of his passion vehicles, a beautiful Maserati, started and revved it for me. He didn't have to do that, but he did, and that shows in his character and passion for autos.The team Andrew has are all passionate in cars, the cars the own, and the work they are in. They would happily chat up about different makes and models, and what they really enjoy out of them. That's how you know they pay attention to every last detail, and sets them apart from other shops. I drive out of my way from Maple Grove to this location specifically for these reasons.If you want honest, good service and are sick of trying to deal with shops that aren't reliable, give these people a try. They are worth every bit with communication, fair pricing and explanation of each part, what they will cost, and working with you on whatever request you may have.

We recently had 2 vehicles worked on at SBR Auto. They were fast, informative and very easy to work with. The inspection report was well organized and very user friendly. They were not pushy when it came to what needed to be completed and although they mentioned things that needed to be done, they did not try to talk you into doing anything more than what you were wanting done. Definitely earned our repeat business

These guys are awesome! Car had an issue with the front CV joint and had to get it towed during Christmas. I was able to get it to them a few days later. Jacinta was so much help, she s super knowledgeable and helped me to figure everything out. I was able to get my car up there and get it fixed in 24-hours for WAY cheaper than anywhere else in Elk River, they do great work, highly recommended.

I've had two pre-purchase inspections done at SBR and the techs were very thourough. They provided a list of possible concerns, including descriptions and pictures, along with a detailed price breakdown of each item if I were to have it fixed. Additionally, they were able to diagnose and resolve an issue I had starting my truck. I would highly recommend their service!

Have had numerous personal race cars that I have brought to Andrew at sbr and it's a 10 out of 5 stars everytime!... highly recommend this honest and fair auto shop... hard to find these days!... they have earned my return/ future business for sure!... thanks again Andrew and team!

Very happy with my experience. Everyone was very helpful and went over all of the recommended services while answering all of my questions. The interactive quote was very helpful. The tech even put in extra hours on Thursday to ensure that I would have my car back before the weekend. I came into contact with the SBR team daily while I delivered parts to them for over a year. I never once had a bad situation while working at my job with their team. The owner, Andrew has also been very helpful and does great and honest work for me and on my vehicles before and after I worked with them on a daily basis. This is by far the best shop in town and the most fairly priced.Services: Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I'm a girl who doesn't know much about cars. I'm usually so scared to bring my car in for fear of them taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. I have never felt more comfortable with a shop. Andrew and his team were super patient with me and answered all my questions in a way that I could understand, their estimate included pictures of the broken part along with a description of what needed to be done. They were fast, professional and super fair pricing as well. He also followed up with me a couple weeks after my car was fixed to check in with me and make sure everything was running well. I've NEVER encountered that anywhere else. I will be a lifer with this shop.

Came over here on a whim after having some truck troubles. Boy, am I glad I did. The first impression off the bat was how personable and attentive the staff was. We visited like old friends would.Secondly, they started off strong. When they got to my truck, they went above and beyond on diagnosis. Afterwards I received a link to an inspection report that they completed and it had every detail you could need. If you want pictures, comments, and concerns about your vehicle, they offer an amazing extensive list of exactly what is going on!The customizablilty of service after this point is honestly a dream. It is simple to get an estimate of the work you want done by a few simple clicks and afterwards, your problems slowly begin to fade.Pricing is reasonable and affordable. Not only that, it's very transparent, too. You'll know what's coming. Even speaking with the owner, I was given money saving advice at his own expense. I find that honorable!Wait time: The bays were full, and it was close to closing time when I got there. They have a hassle free drop-off I was able to utilize. They got to my truck the very next day. Other places I looked at had a minimum two day wait, so I highly appreciate that.Thank you SBR team! I know who I'll be looking at for any future work to be done!

Had a squeaking noise with my Altima when I use the brakes, was my first time to take my car there and will not be the last. They are professional and very reasonable with price and they pay attention to details and I learned new things about my car. On top of that their customer service Jycenta was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure i get everything correctly. I definitely recommend them

Wonderful, amazing service. I had never been to SBR before but I called and although they had no open appointments, Jycenta was kind enough to squeeze me in for a same-day oil change. Andrew checked me in and was welcoming and efficient. The team was gracious enough to complete the service while I waited, despite the inconvenience to them! Afterwards, Jycenta walked me through the completed service and explained all the recommended jobs with zero pressure, and answered my questions easily. She is so knowledgeable and personable! I will definitely be back to SBR and trust them to handle all of my future vehicle needs.

Amazing doesn't even begin to cover it. From regular maintenance, to major repairs they got you covered. Had a multitude of gaskets that needed to be redone. We had it done right! I wouldn't hesitate to bring your vehicle here.

The customer service is the best I have had anywhere. More companies could learn from them. They put their diagnosis in a program that shows photos of each thing they checked and presented it to me by text. The work was quick and affordable. They did a brake job . I will be back for new tires soon.

I had a ton of Ford related issues with my 2016 Fusion, these guys were able to diagnose and fix all of them; I even had a strut that kept going out(it started to creek weeks after replacing), they continued to honor the 24,000 mile warranty each time they replaced the strut; and I guess with Ford OEM third times the charm because this time around she s mint and better than ever.If you just purchased a car or have a euro car these guys are your best local option I would definitely recommend them over any dealership, their pricing was always fair and reasonable and they definitely made me feel like every dime was worth it.They sent me comprehensive photos and videos of what they found each time a new issue popped up.They also honored my aftermarket car warranty through Carmax known as a MaxCare Plan

We brought our new to us Mini Roadster to SBR for a once over as it was new to us. Andrew came highly recommended to us by fellow mini cooper owners as he has great knowledge about them. He went over our car with a fine tooth comb. We agreed with his suggestions and were very pleased with his work. The mini handles a lot better and we are happy with the peace of mind knowing its all up to date on routine maintenance. He kept in great communication when parts were delayed and I appreciate that.The very best part of my experience with SBR was when I was picking up my car, another customer came in concerned that her AC Wasnt working. Andrew got her car right in and I thought the was amazing customer service!! 10 outta 10!! We will definitely use his shop in the future!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I really don t know where to start on this review, but I m blessed to have Andrew and his team to work on my car and had ready for me within a week. The service that SBR provides is worth it, better than Dealers itself. Honda Charges me a price that is beyond what SBR has given me. I m glad I found SBR on google. SBR is a 10/10 recommendation! I ll definitely return for more service in the future again thank you SBR automotive!

This is my go to place to work on my Mercedes GL! They do amazing work, are trust worthy and honest, and cost so much less than other mechanics that work on European cars. I love how easy the process is to drop your car off-they will text you on a weekend!! I took my 2018 Ford Raptor to SBR this week for an oil change and tire rotation. The work was done quickly and at a fair price. During the service, the technician found that my front passenger spring was broken all the way through. I ve owned the truck for just under a year and have never had to use the service contract I purchased when I bought the truck so I was unfamiliar with the claims process. Jycenta at SBR worked all of that out for me so I didn t have to even worry about it. She coordinated directly with the service contract company on my behalf. When the service contract company pushed back on what was covered, Jycenta provided all of the required information and justification to get the full amount of the claim covered. She was even able to get an additional part and its installation labor covered for me as part of that same claim. She s awesome at what she does and SBR is lucky to have her. I really feel that SBR is an honest repair shop, and they advocate for their customers well. I ve found a new auto repair home at SBR and I couldn t be happier with them. Thank you!

My experience with SBR was very impressive! I spoke with the owner, Andrew initially. He was very professional, thorogh, and patient. The exchange with him as well as them being the lowest quote I received steered me into their shop.The follow up communication regarding the progeress of my vehicle was done primarily by thier front desk staff, Jyenta. She too was patient with my many questions , professional, and exceedingly pleasant. She also demonstrated compassion for my sitiuation.I was made aware right from the get go that the transmission of my vehicle may require attention beyond what they were able to determine initially. I rolled out of their shop paying about $200.00 less than the initial quote. My transmission required no futher attention.I deem this shop as my go to now! I will also be referring others.HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, COMPETENT, RELIABLE!!!
