Polite, professional, knowledgeable, and kind! These words come to mind as I think of our experience at Terry s. At 3:30 on a Thursday, we were 20 miles from home and hearing strange noises, so had pulled off the highway and noticed some fluid under the front bumper, too. We needed reassurance or warning about continuing our trek. Terry assessed the situation and willingly cut off the cracked exterior piece of front fender that was flapping and rubbing against the wheel. Then he looked under the hood and discovered transmission fluid hose is slightly leaking but we had enough fluid still in the tank to safely get home. We were relieved and very thankful to find an honest mechanic at the last minute in our time of need!!!!!!

We had an issue with our car while driving in Eden Prairie and wanted to make sure it was safe to drive. We stumbled on Terry's and he looked over our car for free! He gave helpful advice, was very friendly and took great care of us.

My husband and I have gone to Terry's Automotive for over 15 years. They have always given us prompt, excellent service at a very good price. We are grateful to have them in the neighborhood, but would even drive across town to have them work on our cars. Excellent service and very responsive. Both Terry and Larry are honest and trustworthy. They track what routine services my cars need and maintain them well and at a fair price. On the few occasions I ve had an emergency (recently a dead battery), Terry exceeds my expectations in responding to get the problem resolved. I ve been with them for about two years now and I am very pleased with their service.

Every car owner should have their own personal mechanic like Terry. We are able to keep our cars longer because Terry knows how to keep them going at affordable rates. He knows a lot about various makes and models and his diagnoses are 'spot on'. Once we took our car to the standard big box dealer and were told we needed about $5000 plus of work. We took the car to Terry who said, "I wouldn't do any of that." In the next year, we spent maybe $600 and never had those things done recommended by the big box. Terry saved us big time! Just recently, we bought a large van for conversion purposes. We talked to Terry at length about it and had him check out 2 different vans we were considering. His advice was INVALUABLE. If you own a car, you need someone like Terry. In the long and short run, he'll save you big $$$.

I brought my car in to get fixed. Terry looked at everything and was able to get the parts and get it fixed all in the same day. The biggest problem was a tie rod end, and it cost me less then most places would want. I have a very busy schedule and was able to drop the car at night and put my keys in a drop box. Getting it back was just as easy. I'm soooo glad I brought it there and not somewhere else. Terry's Automotive has been servicing my cars for more than 20 years. The mechanics, Terry and Larry, are top notch. They are honest, diligent and hard workers. I have referred family and friends to them with no hesitation. If you have financial concerns, they are willing to help you prioritize work that needs to be done so you can address serious problems first. Terry and Larry are friendly, approachable and professional. I never hesitate to listen to their advice. There is no better mechanics shop than Terry's Automotive in Eden Prairie.

We ve been taking our cars to Terry for over 15 years, because we know that he is honest, careful and thorough, with better prices than elsewhere. On my recent oil change, I suspected I had a brake problem and figured my rear brakes would need to be replaced since he told me a year ago that they were 50% worn. He had replaced the front brakes a year ago. However, to my surprise and delight, he said I did not need a rear brake job. He had determined there was something wrong with the front rotors he installed a year ago and replaced them at no charge. I can trust him to do the right thing, and not take advantage of us. I really appreciate that.

Terry works hard to listen to customers, maintain fair pricing, and explain things. He and Larry are open with what condition your car is in and what work should be expected in the coming months. Highly recommend Terry's Automotive!

Terry's Automotive is the best place for anyone who wants an honest mechanic. Never any sales pitches like the franchise places. He only repairs what needs to be repaired. I've been going to Terry's over 20 years, my 15 year old car would not go anywhere else!

Honest, fair, reasonably priced. I used to always go to the dealer for service, but after a bad experience a friend referred me to Terry's. Not only did they address all my car's issues, they found several things that the dealer should have done.

Great experience! They were able to service our vehicle ASAP with a quick turn around time. We had taken our vehicle into a dealership service department and were quoted $3000 for just one fix of several our vehicle would need. The service department suggested we just scrap the car and look for a new one. With 130,000 miles on it we searched for an alternative and were so glad we found such a reliable mechanic. Would definitely recommend their service. We will be returning for all our future needs.
