DO NOT GO HERE SKETCHY AS HELL !I scheduled an appointment asking for a conventional oil change. They said ok and said they would send a confirmation text about my appointment. I never got one so I called back and they said yep we got you at the time I said and I said ok see you then. Confirmed with them again convential oil change 3pm yep. I arrive and they tell me that the manufacturer of my car says only synthetic is allowed in my vehicle. Mind you ive been putting convential in for a year multiple mechanics not one said this always convential no problem . They said I could even call them myself so I did. Gave them my make model etc honda dealership and asked for a tech and they told me nope it can do either on. My cars owner manual says convential but that synthetic can be used if it meets the same req . Thanks for waisting my time lying either they lied for various reasons who knows orvery incompetent either way don't go

Tony was super helpful when my lug nuts kept coming loose and we were up here over the holidays. He found that they were just worn and got us back on the road quickly. Really nice guy, seems to really enjoy his work! Those are the people who should be fixing your car!

I went to the Eden Prairie location to check on a tire leak. The man behind the counter came and looked at my tire and said he couldn't fix it because I needed all new tires (he only looked at one.) He told me nobody would fix it because my tires were so bad. My car is not even a year old and has only 15,000 miles on it. I went to the Richfield location, and they were able to help me out and noted that my tires were in great shape. The same guy at EP told me we needed a new engine on our other car about a year ago, got a second opinion and ended up only spending $100 to fix the car. Either this guy has no idea what he is doing or is trying to make money. Consider going to the Richfield location.

Got a call saying your car is done and ready to go. They told me it was tough. In reality the job was never done. They almost killed my family (law suit pending). Attached are the pictures of how they sent me home. You can see the wrench marks. Please use anyone but this company. I'll be adding more later...

They don t do free code readings which is pretty lame considering most places do. The guy read my code and told me it would cost $265 for a diagnosis or else he wouldn t tell me what the code said.

Tony (and Ben) did a great job repairing some issues with my Audi s wheels/axels and breaks. They were very candid and communicative throughout the process. The car was in rougher shape than anticipated and could have cost a lot more than originally estimated. Tony was able to work out some innovative processes to keep some of the parts and save valuable time and money. We ve been here before for tires/oil changes but this was the first time using them for something more complex. I was very impressed and would recommend them to anyone looking for car help (except collision). We really appreciate the service Tony Scully provides. During our most recent visit he took the time to show us the maintenance that was necessary and also pointed out a couple other items we need to keep an eye on. He walked us out to the vehicle and raised it up, so we could clearly see what he was referring to. We have an older vehicle and appreciated the practical recommendations he provided. He was very patient and honest.

The guys here were great. They did a courtesy check for me without asking for it and resolved my tire issue. To be honest I didn t think I would pay that much. Definitely coming back here for future services

Ben was amazing. He knows an incredible amount about cars. He was articulate, professional and saved me a TON of money by making good recommendations, NOT " product push" like the dealerships. Although it was my first time in that place, they made me feel comfortable, I did not feel any sales pressure. My problem was with the brakes. They showed me the parts that were damaged, gave me an estimate of the cost and left it up to me to decide what to do without binding me or pressuring me to make a decision. They were able to fix it in about 3.5 hours just like they promised. Very professional. I felt comfortable, I recommend them 100% and from now on I will not go anywhere else. Went for a oil change and asked them to check brakes as well. They showed me exactly what needed to be done, and why. As a woman, I appreciate that I wasn't talked down to, and was shown what was wrong. Great guys!!!!

This place was a referral from a friend. I know from a recent experience, you get a solid answer here and good repairs. Contact Ben the Manger and he will always give you sound advice on repairs and how to manage a vehicle. My problem was the brakes. I was showed the parts that needs replacing and was given anestimate of the cost for each options. Ben left it up to me to choose without binding me or pressuring me for a decision. The car was fixed in about an hour. Both of the guys are professional, and I felt comfortable. Needed only 2 new tires installed. Arrived for the appointment and was refused service due to not having a printed copy of the appointment ans order. They would not take an email. Ben was extremely rude and unprofessional. My partner was physically at the shop and he was treated poorly. I called Ben to find out exactly what he needed and was met with more rude and unprofessional behavior and I wasn't even at the shop. I tried to calm things down but Ben was not having it.We reached out to Amazon as that is where we got the tires and set up the appointment. Amazon reassured us that no print out was needed nor necessary and that they would be reaching out to the shop to inform them of their mistake.We rescheduled and tire install again and were again, met with rude unprofessional behavior from Ben due to having no print out, even though proof was provided from Amazon that it was not required. Ben refused to service for this appointment and any future appointment due to his unprofessional behavior and childish attitude by not getting his way.

Brought car in for noisy blower motor. They replaced AC pump and $1400 later still have the problem. Contacted store and all they did is explain how they did nothing wrong. Not a single concern for me and how I felt swindled. No make good offer. Mechanic does not do this repair. Never any mention of that either. This location cannot be trusted. If repair works, location is great. When it didn t, absolutely no accountability was taken.Service: Engine repair

It was a great experience. The person was quite thorough about the analysis and setting expectations. For my car multiple items were to fix (and I was aware of them before hand) and he had given reasonable estimates. He guided me about the priorities and we planned accordingly. I have fixed a few things like rear brake change, exhaust fixing. Things are nice yet and goin good. Maybe in next month I will visit for other works. I am quite satisfied. Will come back on this post after doing the remaining jobs.

Terrible. I felt like I was being talked down to the entire time simply because I am a female. It's as if he thought I was stupid. Everything is overpriced, I paid $87 for a full synthetic oil change WITH a $15 off coupon. I pay $90 at jiffy lube full price no coupons. RIDICULOUS. Also was quoted $129 for a wheel alignment, which should not cost more than $70, $80 max. Do not send anyone to thus place. Was definitely not happy, and will not be going back. Would give zero stars but it's not possible.Service: Oil change

We have had work done here several times on our vehicles. They are always helpful, extremely honest, fair with prices, and incredibly quick. We are grateful we have found somewhere we can really trust with our cars. Ashby Carter, the store manager, was extremely helpful with us and what car repairs needed to be done and which ones could wait. We will continue to bring our vehicles there for service and recommend others do the same. Thanks for being a blessing to our family!

More expensive than other places. Bought tires from Amazon to install here then they wanted to charge more on arrival. Was rude from the moment i arrived. Asked about the extra charges and was rude and annoyed that i asked questions. Then told me I can take my tires and leave if i don't like the price.Asked for my tires and went to my normal place which is cheaper. Only reason that I came here was because I had a amazon gift card.

I was told they would do a free brake inspection, the guy came out to the parking lot and looked at the tire from 2 feet away and said the rotor is warped. I said the sound is rattling and doesn't really sound like a rotor and came on out of nowhere, but he said he has 5 cars and knows a warped rotor. Not 2 days later I had someone else take a look and turns out there were caliper bolts missing and the frame of the brake pad was hitting against the wheel. He didn't trust a word I said, maybe if I was a man I would've been taken more seriously.

Requested service to repair a noise that we suspected was a blower motor. Was told they found the issue and would correct. $1300+ dollars later we got the car back with the same noise. Contacted mechanic and was told, yep you need a new blower motor but I won t do that. He said 14 hours for that repair. So he knew what we brought in for was the right issue but said other repair would fix it. Now we have to bring it somewhere else bcuz manager basically said F off. Always cheaper to have a dual repair (like two procedures in a surgery) done together but as long as they came up with a repair (no way to prove what they did was necessary BTW) they decided it was okay to lie and say it would fix the problem. No apologies from them. Be very very careful on what you ask this location of Carx to do for you.

Had a nice rude conversation with the master technician about an appointment that I *requested* online. He was mad that I missed the appointment. I did not miss any appointment. The email clearly states that I *requested* the appointment and that the store would be in touch to confirm if they could accommodate the requested time. Only reason this is not a one star review is because the tech was honest about their prices being absurd for a tire swap (almost $120 more than discount tire).

I really can't say enough good things about my experiences at Car-X. I've been there three times in the past two months, and each time, the staff has helped me in a gracious and timely manner. Two of those times, they fixed my issue at no cost. As someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars, it's important to me to find a repair shop that I feel I can trust (and does great work, of course). Car-X has proven to be that place.

Very accommodating and courteous. I had to have tires installed on my SUV (which I bought online) I called on Friday at 3:15pm and they said to bring it in and they would have it done by closing (6pm). However, I couldn t and so they setup an appointment the next day at 9am. They had in & out by 10:05am. Now that s what I call excellent customer service. Thank you for great service!!

These guys are super amazing. I was on a road trip passing through and got a flat tire. They were able to get me patched up and back on the road in under and hour.
