It used to be professional and friendly. It s like having Service done in a boys locker room now. Profanity, whistling to get customers attention, laughing, and joking around while customers are waiting, poor communication on timing. I had to wait over 30 minutes when the website says 0 to 10. Professionalism needs to be taught here. too many people tripping over each other. It s never the same people between oil changes. I will not go back there any longer.

Receiving an oil change here is always an issue. I had been here and the techs didn t secure my dipstick and there was oil leaked onto my alternator. When I came back after paying hundreds of dollars to clean my engine and alternator, to communicate I want their techs to make sure it s secure before I leave, they denied that they could of caused a problem. They were training a tech that day, so I know mistakes could have happened. They were rude, didn t want to hear what I had to say. I will not be returning to this establishment. And nobody should trust them either. Very dissatisfied

Dylan and Crew were so very polite. They asked me if I wanted some products I needed without sounding like they were pushing a sale and showed me proof I needed it (it was an oil filter) then showed me them opening the new product for my car. They advised me of a service I needed and weren t pushy like so many shops are. It was a good experience and I will return.

7 years of owning a vehicle and this was my first visit to Valvoline Instant Oil Change. I was super surprised by the service I received. Wonderful team members. The manager and the team were super experienced and still had so much energy during the last hour.I bought a full synthetic oil at walmart and came here for just the labor. The only downside about the franchise that I felt was that the cost of basic oil change with oil included was higher than the cost of using our own oil that we took in.But I loved Valvoline Instant Oil change, especially this location.

Waited in line for quite a while, but I expected that. Needed a windshield wiper and burned out light, but didn t have them. Did come in for oil change. Was given my paper work, all set to go! Great, but it said checked air pressure in tires, but never did, I was watching, when I mentioned it oh we can do that. Too many people working but screwing off.

Like most places today,, after things have opened back up to the public,, customer service,, employees are looking for a purpose of being,, a smile gos a long way,, the employees of this establishment,, have always found a smile and a kind word for customers,, which is huge in today's world,, so if you're looking for service with a touch of humaness,, consideration and mercy,, this is it,,God bless

I enjoyed my visit there, the staff was nice and friendly. as I was getting my oil changed, we talked about football and other stuff. They are fast.

Service was very good and fast. I was in and out but when I left my engine light came on so when I got home I called and had to drive all the way from Saint Paul to Eagan again. They did check my care and say it was another issue bit they didn't offer anything for my inconvenience.

First the guy was super rude to me at the counter and I got an oil change from them two days after my dad checked it and I had little to no oil in my car ! When my dad checked the oil cap it wasn t on right so it was leaking out ! And I ve heard this exact thing happen to multiple people with valvoline. I ll never go to valvoline again or any franchise car place.

Understaffed and doesn t have an engaged team. Technician walks off during a busy time. Generally convenient, although not up to Valvoline standards.

They are always quick and efficient here. They don't try to oversell you on additional services if you aren't interested and they are super friendly. Would recommend.

Waited for nearly an hour with 2 cars in front of me only to be told the filter for my car was not in stock. Would have been nice to know that at the start of my wait.

Hey, so, i was there tonight, sun. july 16th. The tech did an outstanding job and even fixed my rear window wiper that the dealership could not fix. Big thanks to him, and the crew there tonight. A+, top shelf, incredible, super happy customer here! Thanks again!

Nate the manager and his crew were so happy for a Friday morning and the teamwork was amazing. It was a really great experience and I m definitely coming back! Everyone was just happy to be there and working together!

Update 06/2023: I came back after trying a different place for my last oil change. (Horrible idea)The staff here were 3 deep in both bays. I would have thought they would be stressed and a little less personable. Quite the opposite. They were phenomenal, friendly, and fast all while dealing with temperatures in the 80s making it what had to be uncomfortable.I got to banter with the vehicle in the bay next to me because we had the same vehicle, and the staff had fun with it as well.If you are looking for a place to feel welcome and appreciated, there is no better place in Eagan than this place!!! Thank you once again for the great service you provide!Great service always and willing to help me figure things out with my vehicle. I will keep coming back! Great service is hard to find.

Will definitely not be returning here!!! Got an oil change and 3 days later my engine is smoking, check and I have no oil what so ever! Never had any oil leaks prior to the service. Extremely frustrated as my vehicle could have been shot due to a careless mistake on their end. Turns out they didn't put the oil cap back on tight enough. I've tried calling multiple times and the phone just rings and rings with no answer. Save your money and go somewhere else.

BEWARE. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.After my service was performed i had a leak under my vehicle from the exact hose they disconnected. After multiple phone calls,emails,and stopping in the store it was never resolved.Never got a refund, the leak fixed, or the issue resolved.Go elsewhere.Will be filing with BBB and all posting on all other review sites to save others the headaches.Still haven't recieved payment or phone call

They didn t tighten my lug nuts all the way. My tire was ready to fall off of the car . Would not recommend their tire rotations unless you re willing to risk your life I guess. They were professional and polite but also turned me away when I initially went back to them with the issue. I ve been going to valvoline for 6 years but will not be back again. Full story below.With my most recent oil change I got a tire rotation. Two weeks after the tire rotation, my front left tire was making a lot of noise. Thumping while I drive. It sounded like a helicopter on the highway. I went back to valvoline and explained the situation. The guy walked around my car, pressed on my tires, talked to a coworker, came back and told me that he doesn t see anything wrong and that sometimes tire rotations make other car issues come to light. They never even pulled me into a bay. He told me to go the place I bought my tires as this was not something that they did. I was already late for work so I went to a mechanic the next morning. They told me that all four tires were loose, Valvoline did not fully tighten the lug nuts on any tire, and the front left tire that was being so noisy, was just about ready to fall off my car. Cool. I went back to valvoline and they reimbursed the $20 that I spent at the mechanic to get my car inspected and said that they would look at the tapes from when I got the tire rotation and see what happened. Valvoline really made it seem like no big deal. I ve also heard of loose lug nuts happening to other who went to valvoline Get your tires rotated somewhere else.Service: Tires

These guys are Angels. My company van got stuck in the parking lot of this Valvoline, and these guys were super helpful getting me unstuck. I really appreciate the help and great service. They were efficient and informative when changing my oil too.

I been using this location in past and this is my second time taking my Mercedes Benz they didn t put air in my tires and my husband find out that all the tubes were loose they didn t put it back together and the cover underneath it was loose they didn t screw it back I m really disappointed I spent almost $160 I m not going backServices: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil changeServices: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

I've gone here for many years, and while I read horror stories online regarding other quick oil change places, this location seems to do a great job. Oil change price is a bit high, but they do top off other fluids, fill tires for free and perform other checks. Only thing to be aware of is that they do recommend an oil change every 3k miles. Check your owners manual because most manufacturers do not require this frequent changes. Accessories, such as wipers and air filters are over priced. These are very easy to install yourself and can be purchased for a much cheaper price.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Took my car here for an oil change and didn t even make it 1 mile down the road before the car broke down. I take it to a mechanic only to find out the issue was contaminated fluid that somehow ended up in my break lines. Go back into the store to get camera footage and they suspiciously deleted 4 minutes from my service from their cameras!! Never come here!

I 1000% recommend going here. 10 out 10 stars!!! Every single person that works here is hands-down wholehearted and cares about their customers. I had a really bad experience with Safelite and I went in and talked to them about it and they helped me out in a huge way. I will 1000% be taking ALL of my business to this Valvoline. The two gentleman that helped me on Sunday afternoon were the most kind and respectful people that I ve ever worked with. If you ever need a quick oil change or anything done with your car and want it done right go to this Valvoline

I went in yesterday (12/9/21) to get a oil change. My receipt was printed and given to me before the oil change and other maintenance checks were preformed. The guy I whom worked on my car was trying to rush me out before checking my tires and helping me remove my oil light notification. He opened the garage and I had to call him back inside 2 times to put air into my tires and to help me remove the oil light notification. I contacted corporate and was told the manager at this location wasn t in. When the manager contacted me the next day all he did was gaslight me and say his team did a great job and tell me they are the 14th fastest in state. Sorry but those stats on top of the god awful customer service and missing customers maintenance checks is pathetic.Service: Oil change

They did our oil change which was fine. Them lying about my truck needing the differential fluids changed is another story. Be careful they will try to sell you services that your vehicle does not need! Before agreeing to their up sells- Do your research! Do not fall their b.s

Good service and reasonable prices. Of course they try to upsell you filters and wipers and they are quite pricey, but you do get out of installing them yourself. Not worth the money to me. Usually in and out in 30 minutes.
