I was surprised at how busy they were at 10am on a Wednesday in the middle of the month. But they got to me pretty quickly (remember to take a number when you get there) and we're very friendly. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Great staff!

It is usually packed here and you can expect a long waiting time but I only come to this DMV location because the staff are always friendly and nice! The service is smoothly done. It is also nice that they have many Spanish speakers!

First off parking sucks at this location. The office itself is always with long lines as it is such a crammed space about the size of a one bedroom studio apartment. They have 4 computers to do a knowledge test, and about 6 stations to conduct business with employees. The only saving grace here are the employees who are both professional and courteous at least the few times I have been there. Now, that 100% total and permanent service connected veterans can now get fee FREE Drivers license or State ID card, fee FREE registration tabs, and fee FREE title services as of January 1, 2024. I can see this office getting busier soon. And on July 1, 2024 100% T&P veterans wouldn't have to pay the Motor Vehicle Sales Tax!!!!

The site says they open at 8amEven though the door says 8:30 this should be reflected.As I tried to ask a question two employees sat on the other side of the desk and laughed .As a case manager I will NEVER bring my clients here again if this is how they run their business.It was specifically a Latina girl white white nails and an Asian man.I really hope the manager looks into that.Again this place is absolutely terrible .

Long waiting line. parking lot too small. Why does Eagan only have one small DMV. I just need my tabs.I just tried the Apple valley kiosk in the Cub foods on cedar and entered all my information in does not work. I did it three times.Why is mnlars always such a hassle

A DMV office that actually knows how to move a line, making it the least painful DMV experience ever. I think it helps that everyone working there was (probably) bilingual, so they were able to communicate with customers and explain things quickly. Also, it was staffed by, at least while I was there, what looked to be a bunch of 20-25 year olds and not a bunch of 50 year olds (no offense, but you guys are slow and we all know it) unlike most DMVs I ve been to, which I think also really helped.

Why doesn t mn mail out a person 21 year old drivers license until after they are 21. They license clearly states their date of birth so they can t use it before they are 21. Other states don t accept the voided license with the piece of paper. For example my daughter is 21 in spring break in Florida and no bars will accept her papers with the voided ID. Very frustrating!

Went there to get an ID two trips in one day. First time I supposedly didn t have proper documentation and they didn t accept international license for simple ID card. Went home to get more documentation. Got a different person, and out of all the pieces of documentation I had none were supposedly valid even after receiving primary and secondary documentation. They supposedly needed extra translation on something that was already translated for them through another governing body.Went to Apple Valley DMV and they accepted just two of the documents without hassle or non sense. Even the international license in order to get an ID. Staff at Eagan DMV need additional training or more experienced staff because this could ve been avoided instead of me wasting time running around getting more documents when another place accepted them just fine. On top of girl being rude and giving me sass, the first staff I had was polite and a little more understanding at least.

I had a really good experience. I had looked up all the documents I needed for a Real ID beforehand, so I had everything ready to go. There were a handful of people in line in front of me but the workers moved us through swiftly.It s not a big space as it s just a storefront in a strip mall, and there isn t a queue system, but they were efficient.

Great experience! I had to retake my driver's license knowledge test because my out of state license expired. I managed to take my test and get my new license in less than 30 mins! Staff was super quick with all customers!

Best DMV I have ever been too. I moved from Texas to here and it went very smoothly. I needed my driver s license and my son just his id. We were in and out within 25 minutes. Great customer service!

Was a small line about 12 pm when I went there. The wait time was about 20 minutes or less. The clerk was very courteous and fast for getting my tabs.

Ground level walk in, handicap parking available, The line can be a monster at this office but they keep it moving very nicely, and spanish is spoken if needed.

We read reviews before heading in and we're surprised to see a high rating for a DMV. So glad we did, because my husband and I were both in and out in 20 min! Staffed super well with friendly employees, will definitely be going back when we need to renew again.

There will be a line, my wait was about 1 hour 20 minutes. Although there was a line, someone came out periodically to let us know what would help keep things moving.The staff were quick and knowledgable.

Small space so it always looks busy. The line was out the door but I was in and out within 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful. Best DMV experience ever.

When I arrived to renew my license there was a line out the door and I thought I was in for a long wait, but it went really quick - since I did the online pre-application and brought the required documents I was in and out in under an hour. It's a small office with little room for people standing/waiting so be prepared to stand outside for a little while!

Please hire professional people. I was waiting to get called up when there were just 2 young ladies right in front that are just playing on their phones and just talking to one another. They saw me but didn't acknowledge that I was waiting to now what turned into a line of people. When I finally got called up, she didn't look or sound like she wanted to do her job, AND she was still playing on her phone while trying to "help" me. She messed up on my information and with my photo. Not only that, she almost didn't give me back my change had I not said something. I rather take the extra mile and get my renewal in a different city next time than experience this time of negligence again.

My deaf fianc� went to this location today to renew her license . The gentlemen who was helping her was talking very quietly. My fiance asked the man multiple times to speak up, in which he got frustrated and even started to laugh at her. It wasn't until after he wouldn't speak up during the vision test that she disclosed she was deaf and couldn't hear him. He looked shocked and embarased and got very red. I think it's awful people have to disclose sensitive information just to have an employee speak up. I hope this isn't how they treat all people with disabilities. Very disappointing. Will not be back to this shameful, poorly ran , dirty place.

Great experience. Was called to the counter right when I walked in by a friendly rep. In and out to renew my license in less than ten minutes. Highly recommend. Had a lot of staff and all working with customers. Very efficient!

Every time I've used this place I have always experienced friendly staff. It used to be a quiet place. Never waited in line over 15 minutes. Now you can expect to be in line for an average of 30 minutes. I know giving a 4 rating will make it harder to get in, but they deserve a4 *, knowledge of their job, friendliness. Only thing against them is it's a small business you have to wait outside. This winter it will be miserable waiting out in the cold .

Nice. Clean. I waited in a line outside for maybe 10 to 15 mins. But once I got inside it took about 5mins to get my tabs and head out. Not bad.

I ve had mixed experiences here. I got my license here when I was 17. When I was 30 a woman working the desk refused to let me change my last name because she demanded original court documents which no court would ever provide- they ll only give you certified documents. It took two visits and arguing with her to get her to accept my certified documents. But when I lost my ID, another male employee knew what he was doing and was extremely helpful.

The agent treated me really differently from my partner when he learned that I am not a U.S. citizen. Then proceded to ask for all kinds of documentation regarding my status.If uscis did not treat me like this, why does agent TW question why I am in this country?

They do not fit the stereotype of a DMV office. They are friendly and efficient. Sometimes, they get very busy, but they always find a way (often creative) to keep the line moving. Keep up the great work!

Had troubles getting my license from this one. I had all the correct info and he still wouldn't let me get my license passed my exam and everything. Went to the Burnsville dmv with all of the same stuff got my license no problem same day.

Worked with someone named Siri or Isiri? Incredibly rude and unhelpful. Could not have gotten worse service from someone more rude. She definitely knew she was rude and disrespectful, because when I asked for her name she said it very quietly.

The best DMV! Extremely friendly and efficient staff. There may be lines at times but they move quick. In and out of the office for tab renewal in less than 5 mins.
