Excellent job! Not only did C & E Upholstery get me in quicker than other shops, they stuck to all their dates, were reasonably priced, and most of all did amazing work! Look at the awesome job they did with the new convertible top on my old Buick. This is now my go to place for upholstery work.

Tom is awesome 30+ year in business know this company for over 15 years , friendly people easy work with , highly recommend for your any auto boat or furniture upholsterylarge variety of colors and quality of material ,So this is what happened, we picked the color what my wife didn t like when it all was done , and Tom redid the it for absolutely no cost , where do you see that kinda service?Tom just want to say to you thank you for who you are truly nice kind honest person I ever metThank you so much to make my wife happy , it s all matter

I would recommend this place to anyone! Tom was incredibly professional and they were able to not only get me in very quickly, but they did exceptional work in a matter of hours, at a very fair price. I'll be coming back for all of my upholstery needs.

Great place had a drivers seat updated in my dodge truck. Fast service excellent work in rebuilding cushion. Highly recommend. Cost for work and materials very fair, and with a warranty.

The shop is 20 minutes from Minneapolis. Believe me it is worth the drive. It is a very large, clean space. I was helped immediately. As I wasn't in my Porsche, Tom asked me to send pictures thru their website contact. I received a very reasonable estimate the same day for my seat repair. Once the repair is finished I will give you an update.Service: Upholstery repair

2004 Mercedes-Benz CL55. Had sail panels replaced on the Alcantara headliner. Perfect fit and finish. Very pleased with the craftsmanship. Was recommended to C and E Auto Upholstery by another excellent shop, Euro Charged, Minneapolis. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the time talking with Jennifer and her daughter. The repair on my cello was done, expertly.The shop rehaired two of my bows. I think this is going to be my new regular luthier. there is a real down-home, old school feeling to the shop which inspires confidence in the workmanship and community with the artisans. Love this place.

Recently had a handful of boat seats repaired here. Dropped off in September and multiple calls later they where barely done in time for Memorial weekend. Quality wasn't great (probably because they where rushed). Prices where mediocre. Mainly just disappointed in the lack of communication and the 2 months of "we will get them done in a week or two"

C & E was recommended by another company. For us, the made non-commercial drapes for our home theatre room. Although this is not one of the item they advertise for, they did a good job on building the drapes, with a fabric they don't use very often. The entire staff was courteous and friendly, and listened to me as I showed them what needed to be done.One thing that I really liked, is the shop was clean and did not smell of smoke. We walked into another establishment before we settled on C & E, and did not even want to be in the building. I certainly did not want my new drapes having the lingering smell of smoke when we got them home.Thank you to Lamont for working on these in a professional manner, and getting them out the door in timely fashion! I would recommend you give these people a chance at your next project.

This place is not professional. When I dropped off my pontoon seats we asked if we needed to make a deposit or put any money down. The owner husband said no pay when it is done. I called numerous times throughout checking on my seats, to see when it will be done and to come pay, owner stated to worry about it when seats are done and time of pick up. We were notified that the boat would be ready memorial weekend and when we called the owner wife said they did not even start on the seats because there was no payment. Our seats have been sitting at this company for over a month and we were not notified. This was a waste of time and put a damper on the start of summer. The owners were argumentative and hung up the phone numerous times. The owner decided to leave our seats after confronted outside open to the public and not secure. I Would not recommend the service and unprofessionalism.

Had boat seats there. Same as other reviews. Lack of communication, promised completion dates. 12 weeks and they never started the work! I was not concerned with the cost and was always polite in my request to have the work completed before the memorial weekend. The seats are very difficult to remove and install. Save the frustration, find an honest shop for your work.

Take your business elsewhere. With customer service like I got, I'm not sure how they remain in business. October 2015, I dropped off a number of interior and boat cushions to be recovered with a drop dead of mid- April and was assured they would be done. Starting in March, I called in periodically since I had heard nothing and was assured they would be done. Fast forward many weeks and more phone calls finally was able to pick them up in May. Work they did was mostly good, but decided to give them another chance (optimistically thinking my first experience was a fluke) and brought back, this October, a couple of cushions to sew on velcro that they had previously merely stuck on, and to re-position a couple of other Velcro's. Also brought 2 other cushions to be recovered.Same run around as last time. Based on my previous experience, I started checking in in February. In total, I called 5 times, each time talking to the owner and reminding him my cushions have been there since October asking for a date when they would be done, and that date kept getting pushed out. Last week, when I absolutely needed to get them back on the boat I went into the shop, and of course they weren't done. Tom told me he had no idea they'd been there that long and would try to get them there in the next week. WHAT!?!? Complete garbage that he had no idea they had been there that long particularly given our phone conversations, and he could only TRY to get them done after being in the shop almost 7 months?!? And a small job at that, partially correcting their work that hadn't been done right in the first place? Unbelievable.

Dropped off my MasterCraft boat seats Oct 18, 2016 at C&E in Eagan. Talked directly with Tom, the owner. He gave me an estimated price and finish date, 6 weeks/end of November 2016; but "will call when ready". Stopped by today, 5/15/17, to pick up despite being unable to contact them. No phone call, no returned phone call.They hadn't started the job yet! Tom not available but apologized to worker who helped me load my seats into my truck. I'll take them somewhere else. It does not get any worse than that, in my opinion.

I brought my truck to C & E Upholstery to have a tonneau cover installed. They did a great job and took care not to make a single scratch on my truck. They have fantastic prices and it was done before they said it would be. I plan on having them reupholster my truck seat and will definitely be using them for all of my upholstery needs. A+++, great job guys!

I needed my motorcycle seat redone to match my current bike the price was agreed upon. I delivered the seat and was told it would be done in 2 weeks....3 months later the seat is still not done!!! I go get my seat the people there don't even bother looking up, I see my seat sitting on the floor so I just walk over grab it and walk out!! Just an awesome bunch of people!! Don't waste your money on this company

I went to C & E Upholstery to have them install a new convertible top on my Thunderbird. The price was agreed upon and I was put on a three week waiting list, I delivered the car on the agreed upon date. The car sat for three days with no work being done. I recovered the car and took my business else ware. Apparently this happens often at C & E.

Excellent work on multiple projects ranging from car and boat upholstery to custom covers to specialized curtains. They've moved the business a few times but the work product is great.
