Kaarbo s has fixed my 01 Jeep and my 03 Tahoe. Both times they were professional, quick and I was back on the road in a day or two. They won t recommend extra things you don t absolutely need, which gives peace of mind for a customer who isn t car savvy. They fix what needs to be fixed quick and at a fair price. Give them a call, they have nice and knowledgeable people working there! They helped me out twice so far in a pinch and didn t break the bank. 5/5 stars.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My boyfriend and I drove up to Duluth from St. Cloud in my car and it started having issues so we went to see what Joe could do and he really helped us out! He is very kind and professional and easily explained to us what needed to be done. I was in Duluth for a conference, and I started having brake trouble. The shop fit me in on short notice so I could get home the next day. Mike even stayed late to greet the tow truck. He figured out a very odd problem and got it fixed, the he offered to talk to my mechanic at home to explain the situation because it was so odd. Excellent service, very reasonable price. I'm so lucky to have met them!!

I've been to Kaarbo's twice now, both times they have helped me out of a tight spot on a short schedule. They always give an estimate, and offer cheaper options. This most recent time the work actually cost less than their estimate, and they were very flexible when I needed my car back quickly. They also have good candy in their waiting room :-)

I have been bringing all of my vehicles to Kaarbo's for 30+ yrs. Mike is not just a great mechanic, but honest. He does EXCELLENT work, but If he ever does make an error he then makes it right . I will continue to bring all of my auto repair issues to Kaarbos .

Worst experience ever, they ended up doing more damage to my vehicle then they repaired. They ended up cracking my windshield (I took before pictures for proof) and doing some interior damage. When I picked up my car from them and brought it up they tried to claim the damage was already there, they also started to get hostile leading to(them, I never raised my voice and tried to be as respectful as possible) swearing, cussing, and yelling at (what I assume was/is) his wife, and ignoring me(while I was in the middle of the shop) once I started asking for walk around (the paper that they use to write down what was wrong with the car before they started doing work), what company they use to keep records with and their insurance info. After taking my vehicle to get some estimates on the damage they caused (more out of pocket money) and waiting three weeks on their insurance. Only to find out that at most the insurance would give me about 220$ and I would have to get the initial 500 from the shop. My initial bill from Kaarbos was 250$. Now I m out 720$ + labor. When asked them for the 500 initial they refused. Also I didn t get their student discount, and they had my car for over three weeks when they claimed it would take 4days They also lack in communication, they never called me once on any updates; I had to call them just to ask for what s taking so long or to give them the go ahead.For privacy I changed some numbers, made a throwaway Google account and other information

Mike and Diane run an exceptional auto repair service that goes above and beyond a customer's expectations. On a Sunday evening, while being over 100 miles from home, I had a car issue and called to request an appointment for the next day. I expected to just leave a message, but Mike called me right back and listened to the problem.On the phone, Mike walked me through a process that might help, and sure enough it solved the issue. He also told me that he answers the phone until 10 p.m. including Sundays. The next morning, Diane followed up with a call to make an appointment for me, so the problem would not happen again.Mike's and Diane's dedication to their cutomers made it possible that I could drive home that Sunday night rather than be picked up and leave my car behind. I am immensley grateful to both of them and to the way they run their Kaarbo's Auto Repair Service.

They worked extremely fast and were nice! Were able to fix my brakes in a few hours, however it is very pricey compared to other places around.

I've been going to Kaarbos for about 7 years now. Mike, one of the owners, is a super experienced mechanic and he tells me exactly what should be done and follows through on his word. I could go to other shops, and in a pinch I have and have been burned. I'm sticking with Kaarbo's.

Was told by a Fix.Or.Repair.Daily place that I needed bunch of stuff done. Kaarbo took my car in and examined it. I didn't need the extra $600 add on! They fixed what was needed. KAARBO'S CAN BE TRUSTED ABOVE ALL ELSE!!
