We are very pleased with the service, cost, and turnaround time.We had received an estimate far more expensive from Arrowhead Auto Body, and then they refused to do any work after my husband did some of the work on his own. Stopped in unannounced at Johnson's, and they graciously took on the project-- at a far lower cost. We really appreciate this genuine, caring work!! Hope to never have a need again-- but if we do we will certainly return!

Had an emergency on a road trip and called for last minute alignment appointment at 4 pm on a Friday. They graciously squeezed us in and took care of it in 30 minutes. Thanks!

Had to make an appointment but my car was in - serviced (aligned) and out within 90 minutes. Friendly staff, and reasonably priced. Thanx Johnson Frame an Axcel.

Had an appointment was told it would take 2 hours and they would call. I called after 3 hours they hadn t even started working on my car. What s the point of appointments if you don t hold them? Had they communicated they were behind I wouldn t have minded. Then when my car was finally ready they guy threw my keys at me and walked away. Dont expect communication or customer service at this place.Service: Auto maintenance

Best in town. Needed a second opinion on a possible frame issue with my car. These guys found the problem within the hour and didn t even charge me for the consult. This is the only place Apex Automotive gets alignments done. The speed to which they work and that second layer of double checks give my customers a superior product.

I had a wheel alignment and brake check done here. Easy to schedule and communicate with. They told me my brakes were still good, which I very much appreciated as they could have told me they were shot and charged me for new ones. I will dwfinitely bring my vehicle to them when it is time for brakes or other maintenance.

This place has put 2 sets of drive axles in my f250 in the last 2 years. The first set was installed backwards and i couldnt get to the zerks. They lasted maybe 20,000 miles, i could rattle them by hand they were so toasted.2 months ago they did the second set, and the drivers side had a faint clicking noise after installed. 2 months later and almost no use and i can rattle the drivers side axle by hand, i can hear it rattling when i drive down gravel roads. I left a message, no one ever called back.The origional oems lasted 120k, im at 155k on 2 sets from this place.Hard earned money down the drain, No more business.Tim,TK Builders, inc.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Front wheel axle broken.. Brought to shop. They didn't know how long it would take to repair they didn't tell me at the start except that they were short of help. The repair job broke and leaked flluid. Customer service was poor. My keys were tossed to me with nothing said and no receipt of the 2nd repair info. with no word said.Rude customer service.Service: Engine repair

Called October 15 to schedule a frame appointment, was told they could not work on the truck till November 10. I dropped the truck off the morning of my appointment, was quoted for around $1000 and was informed they were two days behind, but he said it should be done the following week. Didn't hear anything for a week so I called them and was told the truck hadn't been started yet but would be done the following week. Next Friday came still hadn't got a call so I called again, sure enough still didn't start the truck. Ended up waiting till December 9th without getting a call so I called them and said the truck had been done for two days. I went to pick it up and he said the total would be $2800. After bickering and negotiations the total came down to $2000 however still $1000 over my original quote. I would not go to this shop for anything more than a simple alignment or other easy jobs. They don't keep their customers informed of what is going on and can't give you a call. This is the second vehicle I have had framework done here and the second time I have had this issue. They have lost my business and I will be taking my truck to get checked at another shop to verify their work as things don't appear like they have been fixed other than maybe 8 hours of cosmetic shop labor. If you still choose to get work done here, get a quote on paper beforehand so you can hold the shop liable and take them to court.

I've brought my Rialta camper in for service here a few times for suspension, brakes, wheel bearings and alignment. They were all very friendly and helpful. I asked if I could be around when they had it up on the lift to look over the underside and did a thorough safety check and inspection of all the steering/suspension components. I'm very pleased with the service and cost at this establishment!!

This place is great! I was totally impressed by the professional phone call for my appointment. Next, the alignment process was smooth and quick. My FX35 drives and tracks straight without any wobble in the steering wheel . Their pricing is fair and I'd recommend Johnson Frame to anybody

Excellent, trustworthy shop in the Duluth area! My daughter in college needed some work done on her car. They provided an estimate for repairs but because she was coming home for Christmas break, I chose to do the work myself. She scheduled an appointment for the remaining work to be done and not only did they finish the job but actually saved us some money on parts which were no longer needed. GREAT PLACE and I highly recommend them to anybody who needs a reputable shop.

One of the mechanics that worked on my truck, went through through my truck and stole something valuable from inside my vehicle. My center counsel was left open after they returned my truck to me. Grease marks on my sun visor as well. Turned out to be my sisters diamond ring since she took it off in my truck and didn t tell me. It was gone after that appointment.Called and asked the manager to ask and talk to the mechanics that worked on my truck. He said I don t think anybody here would do that to me shows that was unprofessional.. Never heard back!THEIFS! THEIFS THEIFSwhen the mechanic drove my truck out after it was done he instantly turned away from me and started walking down the street . Seemed suspicious.THEIFS!Not trustworthyService: Wheel alignment

Friendly and professional with prices better then any other shop around. Got an alignment for wife's car. I've also been hearing some clunking in rear and they let me know what the issue was and gave me an estimate to fix it. Saved me a head ache trying to figure out what it was. Highly recommend getting service done here

I came here to get a wheel alignment. My car is in pretty rough shape and they explained everything to me. The alignment would not have helped so it wasn t done and I didn t get charged for anything. Nice to have a mechanic who can be transparent with me. Definitely earned a lifelong customer today.

Great place for alignment. They also explain to you what else needs to be fixed, if anything, and give you a price right there. I will definitely bring my vehicles there again.

Ive always done all my own mechanic work but when it comes to alignments theres only so much I can do with a string and a level. Out of curiosity I called johnsons frame & axle for an estimate which actually shocked me at how low their prices were.. granted this was 18 years ago when I made that first call. But ever since Ive always recommended them to my own customers, and friends of mine for all alignment work. Highly satisfied with their work and low pricing I have had a half dozen or more of my own vehicles aligned at Johnsons frame & axle since I first called them 18 years ago and will continue to have them as my goto guys for myself and recomendations for others..

If you're looking for a place to service your car, keep looking--- this is NOT the place. Johnson Frame is unorganized, unreliable and unprofessional. Set an appt with them, no communication, had the car all day and did nothing. I don't normally do reviews but don't waste your time with Johnson Frame.

Paul is one of the co-owners, and I know him personally. I do some work on the side and its where I get all of my vehicles aligned and I send my family and friends there as well. There is years upon years of experience in that shop unlike the commercial shops full of new hires. Support small business when you can!

This place was horrible! The staff were completely idiotic! They had no sense of costumer service and the man I talked to just seemed confused the entire time. I went for an alignment and the specs afterwards hardly changed at all, some are even worse! They were also calling my dodge journey a dodge caliber?? They clearly have no idea what's going on. Also, the building is disgusting and in horrid shape!
