whoever y'all got answering your phones super sucks. i thibk hes a manager actually, ive argued with him a few times. totally vague, wont say what day parts will come, which EVERY OTHER TECH at any auto parts store will. ive practically cussed him out once or twice. dude needs to shape up.super rude and unhelpful. like i said, very vsgue but also really smug and often wrong. after i shout at him he gets a lil better each time.just said " thanks have a good day" and he goes "yeah." and hangs up.boooo guy. you suck at your job. go work under a car or soemthing youre literally a customer service guy. or just dont answer the phone.Autozone is ALWAYS the last place i call now cause ofthis guy, even if i have to pay more. everyone else that works here is always super knowledgable and polite though ...

Hands down, the best place to get parts anywhere. Duluth, Central Entrance, Auto Zone has what you'll need, they have an expert, in-house mechanic who knows his stuff and a hub in Superior. If you want the right parts, great people, quick service and expert knowledge, this is THE parts store in Duluth. Don't waste half a day with the amateurs. Go where the professionals go, and where they have a pro of their own.

The manager is about as unhelpful as they come.I witnessed her treat a nice man trying to replace his crankshaft position sensor (that he just bought from them) like a trespasser in the parking lot and gave him a 1/2 hour to get the car running or it would be towed. He happened to be black. Maybe that influenced her behavior? Maybe it was racism. I don't know, but she had no compassion whatsoever. You should be helping someone get the right part to solve their problem! When I was helping him try to bolt the new sensor in, it was apparent the bolt would not thread into the mount hole. I asked a nice guy who worked there if he could look up the illustration of the sensor to determine what size bolt was supposed to be used, and all of a sudden this woman buts in and says he can't look that up. I asked for the manager, and she said she IS the manager with attitude. Then, her other employee who must be her main bird dog joins in and says if he doesn't have the car done in 30 minutes, it will be towed.I helped him get the car pushed across the street to Advance Auto to finish the job. I know the people there to be competent and helpful. We finally got him back on the road no thanks to AutoZone.

Part stores tend to get a bad rap, and a lot of times I can see it, but this one tends to employee some pretty knowledgable folks. They've come through for me in many ways, once even they drove a battery out to me when I was stranded down by the Coppertop Church.Every now and then they don't carry something I need and I'm forced to go to a conpetitor, but I never want to.

I come to this AutoZone quite a bit as it's the closest autoparts store to my house. I find that they usually always have the parts I need at this one and if not, typically I can get them the next day. Staff are fine and fairly knowledgable as long as you aren't looking for anything super specific or complicated. I found prices are fairly competitive.

I want to thank Marty, Store Manager, at the Duluth Central Entrance location for doing such a great job. He gave superb customer service and kept me informed on my transmission order. He went above and beyond to give the service that customers dream of. With Marty, it seems to come naturally. Thanks again Marty for such a great experience.

My last visit to the store was a breeze thanks to Marty. I'm not super knowledgeable about cars and I've had bad experiences with auto stores in the past but Marty helped me feel comfortable and explained things in a way I could understand. Excellent customer service!

Was able to get the part I wanted and in stock. Checked other area parts stores but few had it and a higher price. Times I have been here they always had the part I wanted. Have shopped here a few times when it's been busier, and it wasn't busy at the 5 o'clock time period.Entered store and four people were on staff, two were BSing, one helping another customer, forth one at a till, none acknowledged me upon entering store. When I was served the associate at register, Dustin, was efficient. Only deficit I experienced.

Great experience. This is the second time this staff had been very helpful to me. On this visit, they changed out a battery for me. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, always eager to assist.

Have had nothing but a great experience at this location! The store manager, Marty and his team have always been nothing but helpful to me. I always recommend other women to go to this specific location. You re treated fair and right there.

I ordered a starter for my 2002 Villager, and usually if a store has to order the part they want the price of said part before they order it. These guys didn't require me to pay for the starter before ordering it, which is the way it should be! Also they were the lowest price in Duluth...as always! Thank you, Autozone, I knew there was a reason I have been buying most of my auto parts from you guys since you opened a store down in Anoka.

I am absolutely speechless. I am a teenage girl who knows nothing about cars, and noticed my car making a weird sound and my oil light coming on for a split second. After work I checked it and saw it completely empty so I drove here as it was one of the few stores open and close. I came inside and am greeted by a man who helps me find the oil I needed for my car. I, however, didn't have the funds and was calling a friend to loan me money when someone says don't worry about it this man just paid for you. I was so speechless, and they took the time to put the oil in my car. I had enough for washer fluid (as I was low on that too), and they gave it to me for free. They also taught me how to check my tires and directed me where to get them filled back up. Thank you everyone who helped me! Definitely coming back here again!

We were on our annual vacation this past weekend in Duluth with our 10 year old twins. After a late dinner at Red Lobster we went to go back to our hotel and our car wouldn't start. The battery had died- after finding someone to help us jump the battery I called Auto Zone and although they were closing in 7 minutes, and we were 10 minutes, away they agreed to stay open so we could purchase another battery. Not only did they stay open for us, one of the employees helped us change out the battery which was in a less than convenient spot. Exceptional service, and thank you to the guys at Auto Zone on Saturday August 29th for helping to save our vacation! We are extremely grateful for kind gestures and for their amazing customer service. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I really like shopping here, they listen to what I need and don't judge if I don't know what I am looking for and are always quick to help. And they have great prices.I have seen them outside with the customers on many occasions helping with simple things. That kind of service goes a long way! Great service, reasonable prices, and trust!

Store supposed to be open 8am. Outside at 9:03 doors locked, customers waiting in their vehicles in the parking lot. Not very professional.

Had everything I was looking for, and even more. I live down in the Twin Cities and happened to need a couple basic parts when I came up to Duluth. I went in to this AutoZone, and it's better than the ones down by me. The employees were not only friendly, and knowledgeable, but engaging. The Manager, Martin I think his name was, seems to be running a nice and neat store (nothing on the ground and all the merchandise was reset front to back) with friendly and helpful staff. If other AutoZones were run more like this one, I wouldn't even contemplate going to a competitor. Keep up the good work!

Mediocre service, the equivalent of Walmart. Get the felling the employees don't wanna be their and don't want to lift a finger to help. Thanks

After having negative experiences at other auto stores, I walked into Auto Zone and was immediately greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner. The individual helped me locate the part I needed, only to find out they didn't have any in stock. Instead of turning me away like other stores had done, he offered to order it in for me. The part came earlier than anticipated and when I went in to pick it up, I was again greeted with excellent customer service.Other stores barely talked to me and wouldn't even offer to help me find the part. Auto Zone went above and beyond. I couldn't be more pleased with their service.

Helpful and friendly. Store is well lit, clean and organized. Just wanted to purchase some motor oil and filters, but see they keep a wide range of vehicle accessories in stock.
