Mike and his team are very skilled in many ways, and particularly good at diagnosis. The repair work is always done well and reasonably priced. BTW, if I were a mechanic looking for a good place to work, working at Automedics would be my first choice. Wished this shop could expand ~ they are a great locally owned business.

Owner Mike is honest and true. If you need a repair go here. Other shop s quoted $1500 for my repairs and this shop quoted $750. Did all my repairs within 4-5 hrs.

The best! Honest wokers and great customer service. I was told my breaks needed replacing at another business and when I took my car here they were honest and gave me a call to let me know I had about 8 months of use left on the breaks. Instead of going ahead and doing them they were honest and allowed me to save a few hundred dollars. Will be taking my car here every time in the future and recommending them to everyone!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Mike went above and beyond while fixing my power steering hose. He cleaned out mice nests and fixed damage with no charge. Would recommend him to everybody. Thanks again Mike

Mike and the team at Automedics is the only place in town I have ever let touch my car (unless Mike sent me there) in over 6 years.What finally got me to write this review is sitting in the waiting area and being 1 of 3 young, 20 something s women, that were here. Listening to Mike have the same conversation with one young woman relaying information between her and her dad, the same way he s done for me for years.Being a young woman and finding a trustworthy mechanic is still hard to this day. The way Mike treats ALL customers with kindness, honesty, and compassion while often offering gentle education on the vehicles we drive and how to properly maintain them is truly commendable. Honest and Friendly service. They inspected for an oil leak, found it was a valve cover gasket and got me an appointment within a week. Great interaction and a quick repair. A couple years ago I called around for a wheel bearing replacement and they were the cheapest. Multiple friends recommended Automedics and I now pass on this recommendation. These guys were so friendly and helpful! I was in town for a conference and about to head home- 4.5 hours away- when my tire pressure light came on. I happened to see this shop and pulled in. They immediately looked at my car, found the problem (new tires were overinflated) and fixed it within minutes. I was on the verge of tears and they eased my anxiety so I felt safe all the way home. And they didn t even charge me. I will be stopping here if I ever need anything while I m town again!

A few days ago on my way from Central Entrance Dr. to Leif Erikson Park, the low tire pressure indicator was on, and one tire showed only 25psi then, and it kept dropping quickly. I did a quick search and found this store 0.6 mile away. So I drove to it immediately and managed to get there with pressure only 5psi. The staff in the office welcomed me and after learned my issue, a technician came to bring my car in the garage and worked on it right away. Within 15 minutes he patched the tire. Great job! I with my child traveled all the way from west coast and drove the rental car from Minneapolis to Duluth. We planned to see Lake Superior and also go to Gooseberry Falls then drive back to Minneapolis the next day. The flat tire upset us but the excellent service by Automedics staff saved our day! Really appreciate their professionalism and kindness. (sorry I forgot to ask their names)

After a few recent visits to see Mike with multiple issues, I will be a loyal customer. Pricing is fair and honest and I will definitely return for any future repair needs. I had a problem that was not clear and Mike was very honest and did not do any unneeded repairs and spent a lot of time trying to figure out what the problem was. The pricing and work is made clear before being done and communication is great.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

On a long journey. Had a slow tire leak. Stopped in. Mike was awesome and they patched me up fast. Back on the road 20 min later. Was ridiculously inexpensive AND Mike gave me a great recommendation for a delicious lunch spot! Great experience in Duluth.

These guys are the best in town! I ve been taking my vehicle to them for years. They are honest, friendly, and have gone out of their way to help me out many times. They also don t talk down to me like other mechanics I ve encountered. I ve felt 100% satisfied with every interaction and they ll continue to be my go-to shop!

I was driving up from the cities on 4th of July weekend when the AC went out in my van. Not knowing who to call, I started calling shops not too far from my hotel. Another shop that didn t have time recommended AutoMedics. What a wonderful experience!!! They were gracious, kind, and so willing to help even though they all wanted to enjoy their holiday weekend!! The diagnosis was spot on, the price was absolutely reasonable and fair, and the service was professional and quick. I was back on the road in 90 minutes! Thank you so much for taking good care of me while I was away from home! I highly recommend this shop!!

Working with Mike and the crew was a great experience following some less than stellar work I've had done in the past. He was very straightforward and clear with what was going on, how to fix it, and letting me make the final decisions. I brought my vehicle in at 8 am and was done by 5 with with clear communication on what was going on the whole time. I'd definitely recommend it.

I called AutoMedics last minute during the holiday season, they got me in for an oil change and tire rotation before my travels! They are friendly, knowledgeable, do a great job and put a better oil in my car because they knew it would be helpful, all still while being more inexpensive than other places. These guys are the best! Very honest and committed to doing what s best for their customers, not what will make them more money. Mike is always so easy to do business with. He dumbs things down for me and explains them so I can understand. They will always have my business.

I've been going to Automedics for a few years and would never consider going anywhere else. I have the utmost confidence in Mike and his team of outstanding mechanics. When your car needs work you want to take it to a place where they treat you as a valued customer and take the time to hear your concerns. In the long run you will save both money and time. Plus by taking it to Automedics you'll have peace of mind knowing your car will take you to where you need to go. Thanks Mike!

I recently had a substantial amount of work done here on my volvo and was very pleased with the knowledgeable service and reasonable price. The work, as is often the case with a Volvo, wasn't strait forward and required substantial trouble shooting. The mechanic put lots of extra time in resolving the issue and got me back on the road in very reasonable time.

While driving through Duluth on our way to a speaking engagement, I just about lost a wheel due to loose lug nuts from a recent tire rotation. I called over a dozen shops, including Autmedics in Duluth MN (all of which were were fully booked out for at least several days). With our 4 kids in tow, my wife and I needed help. Mike at Automedics had compassion on us and worked with our vehicle himself to help us out. That level of compassion in the midst of a backlog of work and phone calls is rare. So to Mike and Crew, sincerely, thank you.

My daughter is a student at UMD and it is nice to have a auto repair shop you can trust when you live hundreds of miles away. They have done work on her car her first year at school and she had another problem this year. I had her car towed to Auto Medics and they found nothing wrong with her car, could have been her fault for starting it out of park, who knows. Regardless since they could not find any issues after several tests they did not charge me anything which is refreshing and I admire their honesty. If you are in Duluth or have a family member up there go to these guys if you need auto repair!!No I am not related to them and I hardly ever write reviews but I feel great service requires that I spread the word.

I was very impressed with the owners clear and honest explantation of the issues with my vehicle. It's obvious this shop holds a lot of integrity which is refreshing coming from a mechanics shop, especially for a woman.

The owner is personal to your needs and very inexpensive which is amazing in itself! We needing a quick repair to the car an he was able to see us that day and resolve our issue fast for us to be on our way.

They were amazing!! We were on vacation when my car started to make this noise! They got me in Monday even they were busy and helped me out!! I appreciate all there work and the staff. Oh my God they were ALL FRIENDLY!!! Great place!!

My last visit changed my high opinion of Automedics. I have been exclusively going to them for years, however my last visit they totally took advantage of me. Instead of fixing my tire they ruined it & charged me an outrageous amount. I am disabled & cannot afford to be taken advantage of! After they ruined it, I had to replace it!
