I am speechless. The kindness and excellent customer service I ve received from this place is incredible. My cars blinker needed to be fixed due to a raccoon hitting it on the highway. Due to the way my car was designed it was going to cost around $500 in order to remove the bumper and figure out which wire it would be etc. I chose to pause on fixing it at the moment since it wasn t life or death with the car and $500 wasn t in the budget right now for a blinker. Mike understood and agreed, warning me about potentially getting a ticket etc.He called me a few minutes later asking if I had left to come get the car. I was just about to. He said to wait as his mechanic had already started to remove the bumper and fix the problem. He would charge me $104 and some change (before he started the work he said he would start at $100 and call me if it would be more and I agreed). I couldn t believe it. I offered to pay more and he said no.We just had to put my cat down 2 days ago that cost us over $1400. It s currently tax day and our household combined had to pay in over $3200. So the timing of all of this wasn t the greatest, not just financially, but also emotionally for us.I will never forget the kindness and will be a customer for life. Thank you again.

I brought in my 03 Chevy Silverado for a transfer box issue. The car was stuck in 4 Hi. Transfer box replacement costs over a grand, but the amazing people at 4th st were able to identify the issue as just being electrical and save me a whole bunch of money. Lauren and Kevin helped walk me through the whole process and made everything super convenient and uncomplicated. Definitely coming back!

I brought in my 2019 honda civic after it was having electrical issues and wouldn t start. 4th Street Auto very kindly fit me in during their busy afternoon, tightened the loose cables and did a thorough safety check, and I didn t have to miss my plans of driving north to see my family for the weekend! They were kind and patient on the phone, setting me up in their system so I would have a faster time once I made it in. Would definitely recommend!

I brought in my 2008 Honda CRV for an engine light check up and got amazing service, they got everything up and running around my schedule and were super flexible and helpful when it came to questions about the vehicle. All of the staff are very welcoming and make you feel like you re putting your money into a quality repair job. Overall I would recommend bringing in your vehicle here to be serviced over any other place in Duluth, I will definitely be coming back for all my auto repair needs.

They treated my mother as if she was their very own! They gave her the top-notch five star service that all mothers should enjoy, obviously :)She was really worried about something wrong with her car dangling down, especially with this winter weather. She drove on in they fixed her up and sent her on her way! Very happy customer!And so thankful for their kind service to my mother! They were clearly raised right!10/10 Recommend

I had a stuck axle nut and busted up a couple breaker bars trying to get it loose. I brought my car over to 4th street Auto on 20 minutes notice, and these folks busted it free for me in minutes. Shout out to Mike and his team. Really friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

I have brought my car to 4th Street Auto a few times and will continue to use their services. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, thorough and timely. Their customer service, guarantee, check list and follow up are exceptional. The cleanliness of their lobby is nice welcome and is representative of their work. I highly recommend their services!

Had a great experience here! Brought my car in and worked with Lauren, they were able to take care of me quick at a fair price while I waited. Also let me know if any other issues I might be looking at down the road so I could be aware. These people are fantastic, BEST place for car troubles in duluth. Very friendly and high quality service over the phone. Quick fix and well priced. They gave me a full diagnostic of my car without adding on any unwanted charges. Extremely nice and professional. I've tried other car repair services before but these guys are on top for sure!

What a wonderful garage! On my way from thunder Bay to Louisiana. My coolant hose broke. AAA towed me to fourth Street garage in Duluth Minnesota. The moment I walked in the garage. All the staff were polite and helpful. It was about 5 PM and most of the garages would close, but not this it was open until 6 PM. I was told and assumed that I would have to spend the night in Duluth, but to my surprise, they were all diligently looking for a replacement coolant hose. The girl behind the counter, her name was Lisa I think, rushed to get one. Then to my surprise Michael, the manager, who was behind his desk, said that he would fix it for me so that I could get on my way. Michael took his managers hat off, went into the garage and fixed my vehicle. It was above and beyond his call of duty. I will be forever grateful to Michael and his staff for their efficient services. I was on the road by 6 PM, which took a lot of stress off of me. Michael offered me a ride to a parking lot where I had left my trailer, he hooked it up, and I was on my way. I made it safely to Louisiana. Patricia Murphy , Thunder Bay, Ontario

I have to give them a 5 review. I dropped in this morning before work because there was a plastic pan dragging on the ground from under my engine. I was really concerned it was going to be something major! The people at 4th St Auto Repair were awesome. They immediately put my car on the hoist and put the pan back in place. I asked what I owed them and was told nothing. Nothing! I couldn t believe it. It made me happy that there are great businesses out there who will still help a person in need. Thank you 4th Street Auto!!

The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and got the job done at a reasonable time. Lauren at the front desk helped me get a good price on getting some of my Prius car issues fixed. The location was easy to get to, and I felt safe while being here. Will be going back!

Excellent service! I came in for winter tire switch over and to diagnose and fix a mechanical issue. They worked quickly, communicated well, and got my Prius back on the road in no time. When they called to tell me the issue, they walked me through the problem, what would happen if I don't fix it, and how they price the repair. I find the mechanics here to be very trustworthy. i have taken both of my very old, high mileage vehicles here in the last month. the staff are very courteous, patient and honest. over the decades of vehicle ownership, i have done a lot of my own repair work as well as taken my vehicles to many different shops in many different states. the quality of work and service at 4th street auto is top notch. they are just as good or better than a dealership at much less cost. it is a very good business and they are very good people. don't bother going any where else.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair

My 2013 Mazda 5 suddenly started making an awful racket just a few blocks from 4th Street Auto. I pulled in and asked if they had time to help. They were happy to take a few minutes to diagnose the problem and let me know if the car was safe to drive (broken rear shock mount - no it wasn t). They were able to fit me in and get me back on the road quickly. Everyone was wonderful - awesome customer service. I ll be back.

4th street auto has been great to work with for my vehicles. They have fixed issues quickly and it was pretty affordable. I ve had regular maintenance done as well as costly repairs like water pumps and brakes. Lauren has been super helpful to work with and seems very knowledgeable. She s explained things to me in a way that I can understand when I know nothing about cars. Everyone here is super nice and they seem like they genuinely care. I brought my car in for a routine oil change. They discovered severe corrosion in the frame, unsafe to drive. They facilitated it being towed to the frame shop. They refused payment for these services. I am extremely impressed with their devotion to my safety!

4th street auto is the most trustworthy repair shop in town. We went to them for years while living in duluth and they never steered us wrong. Recently, while visiting duluth (we now live 90 miles away) we had an issue with my wife's explorer where the safely of the vehicle was in question. Mike took time out of their very busy schedule to have his head mechanic assess the situation (on practically no notice) to ensure it was safe for us to drive back home that night. If you are on the fence, you should absolutely trust 4th Street Auto with your auto repair needs!

Outstanding service! I had an issue with my window on my 2010 Chevy Malibu and they were so kind enough to be able to squeeze me in between the rest of their appointments and got me in super quick! They got me in the same day I called. Mike B. Was very professional and efficient! If you are in the area and need car repairs this is the place to go! They fixed my girtude up and she s not over heating anymore! Back on the road the next day.

I live the service I've been give each time I've had my car serviced at 4th street auto.I had my suspension done on my Yokon. Motor mounts replaced. Never been treat so nice. Thanks guys, keep up to good work.

I have had work done on multiple of my vehicles. Just recently brought my 99 Honda Civic for an oil pan gasket repair as well as some steering linkage repairs. They worked my car in quickly and were excellent in communicating the issues and quotes. This shop has done good work in the past, but I had a not great experience recently. 4th st quoted for a very expensive repair, but when I took it to the dealership, they said that there was nothing wrong and that the repair this shop had recommended is very rarely needed.

Took my 2005 Impala here to get a few things repaired. Got a call the next day saying they don t have the right lifts to fix what is needed which is frustrating but understandable. But when I went to pick up the car, the woman behind the desk called my car a junkyard car and told me good luck getting it repaired. Very unprofessional and rude.

Great Auto repair. Very nice people with reasonable prices. With great communication from salesman to mechanic and to the customer! I recommended for any type of car repair. They are efficient and fast, and will try to fit the repair in any time they can.

My fianc�e brought in his jeep last Thursday with a bad starter. They got to work on it right away and even fixed another part on it they noticed needed fixing. They made the whole process very easy and they are extremely helpful and responsive. Thank you thank thank you!!

I've had my old Pontiac Grand Am in to 4th Street for repairs several times in the past few months, and these people are the best!! Customer service is top notch, they schedule for as soon as they can, communication is maintained throughout the repair process, and the work they do is professional. 2 days before thanksgiving my car broke down. I drive a Chevy sonic and right away they were able to get me in before thanksgiving. They were cheap and extremely transparent with repairs
